I want to update my email address and there is no way to do that!

Why canti update my email address!!!??? If you want me to use the app, why wont you let me change my email address?!?! I tried to call but the number is only for gift cards. Its part of life for people to update their account info. Your app does not have that option! Why is that?! I dont want to start a new account and lose the rewards points that I have

Food poisoning with hospitalization and death of my dear friend

April 28 2**** we had decided to order food online from Del Taco around noon. We received food thru Doordash. I ate the hard shelled tacos and my friend only had a few bites of her bean burrito.Around 9pm I ate one bean burrito aprox a few hours later i got up with tremendous stomach ache. I took some medicine within a few minutes everything in my body exploded,vomit/diarrhea, pain ive never experienced. My friend seem to be ok so far. But a few days later my friend said"can u help me i think theres something wrong" i pulled back her blankets only to find her drenched in a pool of diarrhea. Literally had to pick her up to rinse her off in the shower, every movement she made diarrhea flowed. I called 911 medics came i explained about the diarrhea and how i also had been sick.After spending 3days in hospital Drs informed me that she was being sent home and put in hospice, because there was nothing they could do.She spent her last 14days in hospice given nothing but morphine to the point her heart finally gave out. Now del taco is denying any wrong doing of there food. I cant seem to find any lawyer with a backbone to file a lawsuit.

Worst management and customer service

I got a bean and cheese burrito with the cheese on the side and when I got to the window and got my food I checked my food before leaving and it had cheese. When I told them the manager got mad at me for their mistake. She told me to pull to the front that it'll be a few minutes for a new one and I told her no ill just get my money back well she then again said pull to the front shell be right out. She never came out She sent someone else with the burrito so I got down and told her I just wanted my money back I wasn't gonna risk anyone spitting in it especially with how mad they got at their mistake. She then got even more mad and said everything I go there's always a problem for me not to go there anymore and I told her they're the ones that mess up and want to blame customers it's not my fault your to stupid to not put the cheese on the burrito. I literally have the receipt that says ots cheddar cheese

Stolen 250 reward points

My 250 hard earned rewards points were stolen from the Del Taco nanaApp and i want my freaking 250 points BACK!!!

Del Taco has not paid me back for 3 months and wont reply to me.

They cancelled my order that i made through the app. So I didnt get any food. And I have been trying for 3 months to get my money back. It was over 80 dollars. And i have called 12 times, I have written emails. I havnt gotten one response. This is the most insane unfair thing. I call customer support and they get me to a supervisor and they dont say a word to me, they just say I will try to escalate your case, and I never hear anything back. 3 Months holding my money hostage. They trying to steal from me, I dont understand why you cant just pay me back my damn money, its my money.

Rude customer service

Check out this review of Del Taco on Google Maps https://goo.gl/maps/mDeByVb3REMHFoUb8 I went thru drive thru to get burritos and tacos. I asked for hot sauce and they gave me none. So I went into the restaurant and asked for hot sauce. Instead of just giving me some hot sauce and apologizing. She told me you have to ask for it with attitude. I did ask for it in the drive thru and they are the ones who just did not provide service by giving me the sauces to begin with. This is the third time this happened at this location. They always forget to give you hot sauce and then yell at you for asking them to give you something you already asked for. And they do not put receipts. so you don't complain about there shi**y service.Do not eat here!!!

Del taco management never even called me back

ON TOP OF THE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD I GOT THAT DAY DEL TACO NEVER EVEN TRIED TO CONTACT ME THEY NE VER RETURNED MY MONEY AND IVE CALLED 3 TIMES AND IVE GIVEN UP HOPE THAT ANYONE GIVES A *** AND IM CERTAI LY NOT GETTING MY MONEY BACK WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD AT A FAST FOOD PLACE I WONT EVER GO TO DEL TACO AGAI.

Poor service or response both locally and at the corporate level

as of 10-25-2022, Del Taco corporate never contacted me about the missing points with a resolution. A few weeks ago my rewards points were unexpectedly restored, plus a few more. My family wanted a 12 pack with tacos and burritos, even though we had past bad experiences with this company. This time around I went to the Del Taco on Douglas Blvd in Roseville, CA. Again the app wouldn't work correctly. I tried to apply some of my recently restored points for two items with my order and the app wouldn't complete the transaction. I attempted the order from my car several times and ended up deleting the extra points items and went with just the 12 pack, then the order went through. I went in to pick up my order, that staff was on top of their game, and the service was appreciated. The missing rewards points problem came up again. While I was waiting for my food I discovered that the two items I had to delete from my app order were charged against my order, points were deducted again, and no way, they weren't on my final online app order at all. Here we go again. A gal there identified herself as the manager and said she had spoken to me before about this issue. If we did discuss this issue it apparently didn't resolve the ongoing issues. In this case, again, it is the app issue and rewards points being deducted without a purchase being made for the item on top of being unable to place an online app order using the rewards points earned. The mgr said she sent the info to corporate and asked if I was contacted. I told her no, no one from corporate ever contacted me. She asked and received my contact info. Makes you wonder who in corporate is dropping the ball? Maybe there's enough money being made that these little things are nothing to be concerned about. Here is a version of a copy of what was sent directly to Del Taco, again, 4th time, after no responses at all from Del Taco corporate I want my 850 points back. If your app would let me attach photos I could show you why. On August 17, 2022 I'm in Rocklin, CA using my Del Taco app to place an order. At the same time someone 455 miles away is in Costa Mesa in Southern California using 600 of my reward points for a free Del Taco regular size shake at my expense. At the same time someone at a Del Taco in Colorado is using another 250 of my rewards points for some guacamole. There is no way in *** I can travel 1119 miles one way to Colorado or 455 miles one way to Southern California in the same afternoon. No one at Del Taco has responded to multiple emails or phone messages I've left for people at the corporate level. What has happened to Del Taco and who let the Del Taco app get hacked? Local Del Tacos have not been helpful. I got a contact number for the newest Del Taco here in Rocklin but never heard back. Who is responsible for the Del Taco stores in my area because your company is losing a lot of money from poor management, especially at the Rocklin location. A little extra I'm adding at this point: As a 48 year customer beginning at the original Del Taco in Barstow which was owned by Ed Hackbarth, the founder, I must say I'm just about done with Del Taco. The people in charge locally don't give a damn, you try and an contact corporate and no one can be bothered to answer a phone, respond to emails or phone messages. New locations are built and the customer area is closed inside but the super slow drive thru is open. It's a sad day but even the food quality and quantity has drilled to a low, bad enough to end this relationship. No response from corporate or local rep after rewards points were stolen during a purchase on the Del Taco App

Here's what I sent to Del Taco again tonight. I want my 850 points back. On August 17, 2022 I'm in Rocklin, CA attempting to use my Del Taco app to place an order. At the same time someone 455 miles away is at a Del Taco in Costa Mesa in Southern California used 600 of my reward points for a free Del Taco regular size shake at my expense. Also going on at the same time is someone else at a Del Taco in Colorado has used another 250 of my rewards points for some guacamole. There is no way in *** I can travel 1119 miles one way to Colorado or 455 miles one way to Southern California in the same afternoon. No one at Del Taco has responded to multiple emails or phone messages I've left for people at the corporate and management level. What has happened to Del Taco and who let the Del Taco app get hacked? Local Del Taco management personnel have not been helpful because they don't exist. I got a contact number for the newest Del Taco area manager in my area so I left a message but not surprising at this point I never heard back. Who is actually responsible for the day to day operations at Del Taco stores in my area. My closest Del Taco is a money pit and appartently it is one of many company owned sites which now explains the failures that have happened. Must be ok for Del Taco to lose a lot of money from poor management, the Rocklin location as well as the surrounding deteriorating Del Taco locations show that level of concern. I added my name, cell phone number, and address on the original message and am at this point amazed I never got a call back from Del Taco corporate. I am a 48 year customer of Del Taco but am strongly considering ending that relationship. Ed Hackbarth the original founder never let his locations in Barstow come close to this poor level of customer service, deteriorating seriously outdated store conditions, questionable food quality or shorting customers on their food quantity. In the 70's I cleaned Hackbarth's N 1st Avenue (Barstow) Del Taco and it was always kept in exceptionally clean, almost new condition, even though the building had some years on it. Bottom line as a customer, it was always nice inside, clean, the portions were realistic, and the working staff were always professional.

I had the worst encounter of my life at a del taco location

Everything started after my sister took the fries back into the store to ask for fresh fries after being placed in front of store for 18 mins The girl that was cooking the food proceeds to argue with my sister that the fries were hot so anoutvthe time that I got out of car and went into the store the manager and the employer were arguing with my sister then the employee starts to jump over the counter to hit my sister but a male employee stopped her note that the shift manager was acting out as well it was completely wrong from gate! comments were made about the length of my hair and being bald headed and being old I told both of those employees that I would be reporting them and they both told me to go ahead that neither one of them would lose their jobs! Del Tacol should be ashamed of themselves for letting those two girls continue to work for their company Those two girls shouldn't ever be a representative for any company. They are just trash and if that's the look that del taco wants then I'm done with del taco plain and simple even after I notified del taco nothing was done and I still haven't received my money back I've never been treated worst

Cause your store sucked

It took 30 minutes to get my drive through order...the order was wrong...I didn't get my drink...and my sandwich was not good. Not only will I not be going there again, I will be advising everyone that I know to go there either. Your food place, not a restaurant, is horrible.

Food poison

Food poisoned vomited after severe stomach pain off one classic chicken burrito Store #333 need to fire that food prep could happen to anyone. I looked a the burrito noticed old lettuce and burnt char. Full of creme no meat all lettuce. 15 min after eating stomach ache had to pass bio then vomited.

Poor quality of food

I ordered a chicken taco when I received it only half of the taco had anything in it and when asked to speak with the manager I was told there was no manager on duty they had no way of knowing how to get a hold of a manager and they had no corporate office phone number to call and make a complaint do not go to the del Taco in Salida California
