Dan is a brilliant photographer , truly a creative genius
I have known Dan for 5 years and he is the best photographer I have meet Not only brilliant but a very nice person , he has constantly gone out of his way to help me , a true gentle spirit His photographs speak deadly of the human condition and ask as many questions as they answer Sad that one pissed off old girlfriend can raise such a stink ,maybe get a job or a new toy to rub against But leave the man alone to live his life and earn a living and make more great images . Really great stuff !

Kept part of my rental deposit. Refused to pay for appliances I had sold to him.
When we moved into this house, we left a deposit of $2000.00 with th rental agent. About a year later Arsenault calls and tells us he is taking over managing the property. While we rented his house we made minor repairs and painted (with Daniel Arsenaults permission) we asked him on several occasions to fix the leaking pipes in the bathroom. He refused. He came to our house once but he was incoherent and really unprofessional. We also told him that the roof needed replaced, but he refused to fix that until 2 years later when the bedroom ceiling caved in from rainwater. He would call us at all hours of the day and night and talk nonsense. My husband and I used to argue over who would have to talk to him! When we finally found another place to live we cleaned the house, repainted all the rooms and painted the front and back porch. Daniel Arsenault assured us we would get our deposit back. I also had a washer and dryer that I didn't want to move so I offered to sell it for $200.00. After we had moved out Daniel said he would send us our deposit and the money for the washer and dryer. He kept putting me off, emailing that he would "send a check on tuesday, then thursday" etc. After a month my husband talked to him and demanded our money. He sent us $700.00. This man kept $1500.00 of my money. His reason? "There was water damage in the bathroom" YES! From the broken, leaking pipe we had told him about and he refused to fix. So how is that my fault? I can't sue him in small claims court because he does not have a permanent address. I can only hope that others read these complaints and stay as far away from him as possible. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CREATURE!

Scamming, incompetent, incoherent maniac - do not work with him, ever.
Daniel Arsenault might very well be insane. In any event, he is manipulative, incoherent, and literally impossible to work with, for, or around. I have known Daniel Arsenault (Daniel Arseno, Eddie Scratt) in his "professional" capacity as a photographer. It's fortunate for him that a professional license is not required for whatever freelance work he can get, because no half-functioning state employee would grant him a license to do anything but institutionalize himself. Not only is he thoroughly unprofessional and emotionally unbalanced, he is incompetent as a photographer. Further, he regularly defrauds models, property owners, and crew. He's not bad at telling some half-believable sob story about his ailing mother draining his savings, and then takes advantage of people's sympathy when he claims he will pay them for their work in the future. I have personally witnessed him defraud people on at least three occasions, and luckily have never agreed to work with him in a capacity where he was responsible for paying me. Each time he persuades the person to work "with" him on a project that is going to be "big," promises to share the profits from the project with the person or pay them later, behaves like an egotistical maniac for the duration of the project, has a tantrum on the set, berates models and crew for bizarre reasons, makes vague promises about payment or photo trades, and soon thereafter leaves town trailing excuses and inexplicable anger. His behavior extends beyond that of an egotistical, tantrum-throwing diva photographer because it is fueled by apparent delusions. He often has immense trouble communicating coherently and is incapable of focusing his attention on a conversation or task. He acts similar to a person with schizophrenia, and that is not an exaggeration. Sometimes he will erupt into anger for no reason or derail activities with an intense determination to do something that is completely nonsensical and impracticable at the time. He spends a lot of time asking for input on his unrelated work while on set. Don't get mixed up with Daniel Arsenault. He is annoying, sociopathic, unbalanced, vindictive about imagined slights, and will spend 90% of your time babbling about nonsense, 10% of your time attempting to produce photographs.

Yes this guy is for real. Its these type of semi-pro who abuse their own clients, and drain random freelance models..I doubt you can change them-they can only change themselves. They justify their hatred of work with sucking stronger diligent professionals brians they exhaust. The guy has beliefs and 'holy' scriptures when all he is doing is promoting it's ok to be a parasite. Another compelling reason to look further. The distortion of logic presented was astonishing! It's the same unreliable messed up unbalanced photographer who owns Daniel Arsenault Photo Illustration. Arseno Studio is the exact same company in a new costumed up web page and new name. The complaint boards are logged full of the horror stories on the rip offs, scams, rudeness all conducted by Daniel Arsenault. Arseno Studio is be avoided as its a cover up to deceive people who search engine the Daniel Arsenault Photo Illustration. The word is out not to work with Daniel Arsenault. ARSENO STUDIO is a poor attempt to avoid a bad reputation well earned after 40 years in the advertising and photography world to ditch business creditors and models asking for their pics. Models don't receive their pics from the Daniel Arsenault after signing release forms. Read the complaints of Daniel Arsenault stealing deposits and violence. Please call any reputable model or advertising agency and they will tell you they do not work with Daniel Arsenault nor ArsenoStudios. This Photographer has complaints in many states. Daniel Arsenault of Daniel Arsenault Photography is still a Mess
We had another call from Daniel Arseanult of Daniel Arsenault Photography. He constantly exhausted, looks aged, and out of luck. Why? Living a life of lies paves the way to ***. No one will work with him; neither should you. He used to get away with ***, but today the world is small and pure selfishness stinks.. His photo skills are obsolete a bakers dozen among hobbyist. He lets on and talks a great story about all these upcoming big breaks but these made up stories and exaggerations are all he has to offer. We asked around and found out that has never been a finished product on all the projects he told us about. He will not keep commitments. The agency in Los Angeles does not hire him out, its that simple. The never ending list of those who have done him wrong spares no one including his ailing Alzheimer mother,father,and generous always bailing him out brother who is a great son, father, grandfather to all. Daniel Arsenault spends his days using the Internet to prey on people here and there and soon he is trying to solicit a handout,partnership, job, room, food. He is impossible to work with as he will not follow through on his commitments. He hit up everyone he ever went to school with or known asking for work but his bad reputation precedes him. How many more people will not get their pictures, or lose out on a loan when they gave the guy money. He causes trouble everywhere he goes with a temper. I can only imagine the energy this narcissist dude exudes on a daily basis trying to create a " its not my fault, please feel sorry for me" world of his own vision and keep his tracks covered. He is blind to his own actions. Sorry he got your cash. You can be glad you got away with only that. Some did not and were taken to the cleaners emotionally and physically besides monetarily. More people need to come forward, speak up and stop the crookedness, so he moves out of the country and all of us can rest knowing he will not be knocking on our door again.. for a while. He is hard to get rid of. Has anyone ever gotten him to quit bugging? We ignore his calls and say we are busy if he catches us. He said he was back staying in the old neighborhood freeloading. He knows how to spot and use a sucker. Don't let it be you. Women beware he is only out for himself and you are not the only one. He is currently playing at least three women from what he told my husband bragging about his going on state by state. He has violent temper tantrums; one occurred in front of our child after we asked for a background check. He never apologized for scaring us or the baby when he called about something else.

They're Several Complaints here about Daniel Arsenault Photography and his slummy house renting practices. Daniel Arsenault Photographer Dead Beat My office had a terrible experience with Daniel Arsenault Photography. After Daniel Arseanult was hired, he neurotically called nonstop daily annoying everybody. One day he called sixteen times! On the day of the shoot, Daniel Arsenault arrived looking and smelling hung-over, dressed like a homeless person. What an embarrassment. From the beginning we noticed Daniel Arsenault was tense and nervous. During the shoot, the assistant made some technical suggestions to Daniel Arsenault. Daniel Arsenault then preceded to blow up and suddenly turned mean, screaming profanities, and threw something at the technical assistant scaring the rest of the crew. We stopped the shoot, and let Daniel Arseanult go. We later continued the shoot with a younger and more professional photographer, who had all the latest equipment. His work was perfect and he was a joy to work with. He was a third of the cost of what we would had paid incompetent, overpriced Daniel Arsenault Photography.
