CVS CORPORATE GREED!!!!

CVS is so effin GREEDY, and they don't care about customers! CVS leaves customers on HOLD for HOURS, makes constant ERRORS at the pharmacy by putting Rx on HOLD indefinitely, or in process but never processed, and pretending as if the country doesn't know how badly CVS ABUSES their CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES. CVS is unethical and only cares about lining their POCKETS, FLEECING the PUBLIC with their OUTRAGEOUS PRICES, POOR QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT, HORRIBLE PHARMACY due to UNDERSTAFFING, ABUSING THEIR EMPLOYEES by OVERWORKING them with no support. Even the pharmacists who care have their hands tied. They cannot do the work of 10 people! CVS is KILLING their Customers AND employees who are having mental breakdowns and health problems due to abusive practices and neglect of support and help. You know how bad it is when all the doctors did everything correctly, the insurance covered the meds, and there is NO reason for meds to be on HOLD indefinitely! People take medication for a reason! Theyre not meant to be sitting somewhere on hold just because CVS is a screwed up entity that does not know how to manage their company! CVS can point the blame all they want. This country knows the truth. At a time when everyone was struggling with financial problems in the throes of the pandemic, what did CVS do? They increase their prices. Their prices are the worst of any store. And the public is not so foolish to think the CVS coupons are any help. CVS prices everything incredibly high. That means even if you have a 50% off coupon youre still paying top dollar and way above what the cost actually is anywhere else. Its all gaslighting and smoke and mirrors. There are no savings due to price gauging and complicated criteria in the labyrinth of their fine print in those coupons that dont even work most of the time. If you do you want coupons to work, then you have to spend loads of hours in the store reading all the damn yellow tags and coupon details, and inspecting items under a microscope to make sure that its actually covered by the coupon. WHEN IS THIS GOVERNMENT GOING TO STEP UP AND INTERVENE!! Customers are already stressed out with this outrageous cost of living, CORPORATE GREED everywhere, especially big companies, insurance companies, and banks! Professor Robert Reich (Berkeley) is spot on about the problems with inflation, inequality, and poverty, corporate greed, unfair tax practices, and all his insights about the solutions.

Customer service finally solved my prescription delivery service.

I needed to change my email address and card for payment. I had done this in the store but there was more to do when I tried to get delivery of my prescription.

Employee issue

I came into the CVS located at the Hannaford Plaza on Wolf Rd in Colonie, NY. at approximately 1:45 pm today. I came in and walked past an employee who later identified herself as Amy. We made eye contact. I would like to say it isn't easy for me to walk as I had a total knee replacement 7 weeks ago. I walked past this employee who made eye contact with me. A customer noted my limp and approached me .. she noticed my long scar (just came from Physical Therapy), I was wearing exercise shorts as the therapist needs to get to my knee during the therapy. She asked about my experience saying she was told she needed a TKR. We spoke for approx 5 min. She left and I continued to shop for things I needed ... I was in the store a good 15 min. I finally came to the front register and noted 3 people come in and Amy said "We can't ring you out. Our registers are down." I was confused why she hadn't told me at some point within the approx 15 min I was shopping since I wouldn't be able to ultimately ring out. I asked her and she said she would have but I was busy chit chatting with a customer. I said rather than waste my time, why not politely interrupt to let us both know. She rolled her eyes at me and repeated I was too busy chatting. I set my arm full of items down and told her I had owned 4 businesses and I never would have allowed an employee to behave and speak to a customer in such a manner. It wasn't proper customer service. At no time did she feel a need to apologize to me. She just gave me a nasty look and I walked out.

Issues with CVS app re prescriptions on file

I called twice and have still not been able to resolve the issue with the CVS app showing the prescriptions. I've received various different responses like creating a new account with a new email address among other suggestions. Nothing has worked. I have to call every month when I need a refill instead of the ease of prescription refill, the status of refill, prescription history, etc. that the app should provide like ALL other pharmacies I have filled scripts with. This has been going on since Jan 2023 when my insurance changed and listed CVS as the prescription provider. CVS has always been my favorite pharmacy to shop at with lovely customer service from the associates in the store and amazing deals. However, now that my monthly scripts only come via CVS I am frustrated and tired of calling the store and the 800 number to try and get my account updated to show my prescriptions.

Disrespectful employee

Ok so before I drove 20 min to the cvs fort mill on Springfield I called and asked about my RX and they told me to come on. I was in line right at 7 but it was a car in front of me. When I pulled up they closed the window so I went inside. They continued to lock the outside and I said I needed my meds and they REFUSED to help me just kept packing and locking up. The lady said well she can just go to another cvs. So I called another one on Tom hall and they were willing to fill it but said Springfield was holding it so the women were still there in the store and I asked could they release it because the other store was going to fill it then they said they system shut down at 7 and they Refused to release my insulin which I need. I explain multiple times that I needed my meds or I could go into a coma and they still refused to help me. Now Im sitting in the hospital because they refused to help me. I will be sending my hospital bill bc it could have taken 2.5 sec to release my medication to another cvs since they refused to help me. Im beyond pissed and will be contacting a lawyer at this point because that put my life in danger. I was there by 7 so what would that have hurt to release my meds or actually help me it was literally 1 min after when I walked in the store from them shutting the window on me. It wasnt necessary and it was beyond rude. I want yall to know how your store managers and employees treat people. No 1 would help me. The outside of the store says 8:00 not 7:00. I asked for the main manager and corporate number and they said they didnt have it. I told them multiple times I could die with out my meds and not one person tried to help they was so busy tryna get out the door vs helping for like 2 min. I need to know where to send this hospital bill bc Im holding your employee responsible due to refusing my medication and refusing to release it so someone else at Tom hall could help me.

Horrible corporate customer Service

We joined the CVS cloud or whatever and paid for it my wife coupons and uses CVS cash every order she loads her cart with Ive $100 and with CVS cash and coupons offered by CVS they cancel the order and keep there coupons and cash. Weve spoken to managers and corporate office and they all say the same. Its out of stock so we drove to the store and the items are on the shelf. They dont want you to save money then dont offer items and coupons. Now they wont let us cancel the CVS club and get our money back even though they arent holding up their end of the deal. This place is a rip off and there employees are unprofessional and rude. From the Cashiers to the corporate office. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

PHARMACIST TO BE REPORTED

If anyone looks into all of the Google reviews for CVS PHARMACY AT 4500 PLEASANT HILL ROAD, KISSIMMEE, FL, 34746. The reviews are horrendous, and it's not surprising, however, I am saddened to report it to be true and a serious matter that needs to be addressed. It is because CHRISTOPHER HABBA has been treating patients like they are unimportant. I find it horrifying that he holds a professional or doctorate degree, and the CVS brand is tainted by his character. I hope and pray someone intervenes before a patient suffers harm due to his lack of pharmacology knowledge. He is the first pharmacist I have ever seen or experienced behaving rudely, unkindly, and disrespectfully in my 60+ years of life. My family members have used this pharmacy in the past and will no longer do so. This is because Christopher's treatment is horrendous, and he lacks dignity and care for patients, individuals, and, most importantly, human beings. The pharmacist, Christopher, does not fit the profile of a passionate and morally kind professional who should serve in a low-income community such as Kissimmee/Poinciana. My goal is to ensure that the treatment rendered by this pharmacist ceases immediately by reporting him to the Florida Board of Pharmacy. Please find his license number below if you would like to report him as well. LICENSE #: PS63298 I have seen him treat patients, including my family members, in a manner inappropriate for a healthcare professional. There is no doubt about his evil intent, as others have said. I will get to the bottom of this and encourage you to do the same.

Pharmacy insists on harassing me with no justification

I keep having problems with the CVS in my neighborhood at 3700 Newark Street NW, Washington, DC 20016. I called in a refill for a prescription today for Bupropion HCL and was told it wouldbe ready by 1:00 pm. I went in after 4:00 pm, only to be told that it required approval from my doctor! I can read and the label on the prescription bottle that I received last month clearly statesREFILL: 1 by 05/23/24. If that was incorrect, why was it approved in the automatic system over the phone? Maybe the problem is that I'm a disabled senior citizen; it must be fun to abuse people in my category!!! Sorry, don't expect me to be soft-spoken because this is not the first time I have had a problem of this nature. I am sure that when I can speak with him over the phone, he will ask me why I was asked for his authorization when he always gives me refills when he prescribes medication to me. I do not appreciate this kind of treatment, but it seems that I can expect nothing better. If transferring to another branch will solve the problem, I will expect to have transportation provided for me because I only walk for one block to the CVS in my area; I suffer from two inherited spinal disorders, and traveling long distances means pain for me. Not that the people in this CVS care about that! I have already had to have one prescription dispensed from another pharmacy; apparently, that may be the only solution for me. I am attaching a photo of the prescription bottle to show that another refill appears on it; I did not make that story up the way the staff at CVS made up a story about me needing approval for a refill!!!

Comment about the difference between docusate sodium and stool softner

Original review May 12, 2023
Ok,I'm not expert but I learned that docusate sodium is a anwnomic sufactant and I'm not sure I spelled that right ! Google don't know either! I"ll leave it at that which works on the stool's surface ! It is the main ingredient in a stool softener ! The question I asked the pharmacist before was , what is in the stool softener? There could be mineral water etc..You can find out everything you need to know about *** on (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Docusate ) Sorry I'm on the phone and I know nothing about them either!I know I have several conditions that qualify me for the use of these meds that are prescribed and the doctors do not get back with results if tests and nurse do not pay attention when they do the procedures to test you either and they have ignored me at Riverside when I come down there looking for answers and operations that should be performed! Now ,I have a fat containing hernia which I believe gets in the way ,fallen pelvic floor ,, anorectal conditions, hemorrhoids, and that's just a few !Google got that one ! I think Google has a virus!I believe my conditions are responsible for my high blood pressure and I have had attacks of not being able to catch my breath because of these conditions and the doctors ignore me and by the way CP person I need my Symbycort yesterday in case all the talking got you forgotten ! Somebody help me ! G Google can't get that name right! There are any things undone because I have no one to get me to get these procedures done because hospital expects you to have someone with you ! Friends think they have more important things to do like prayer meetings! In my opinion is some things need dealing with in the now not the dreams of your future cause the future is NOW! There is no way to get it done unless you do it ,vyou can't expect God to do everything !

Pharmacy a complaint

It seems that the right-hand does not what the left hand is doing. I went to pick up a prescription and was advised that it would cost me about $635.00. I advised my DR. and she was very surprised. She also checked the pricing for the prescription online using Good RX or other services, and the price ranged from $7.50 to 53.00 as compared to the price I was given. My Dr.ordered the prescription through a different pharmacy and I got the medicine for $ .73. I went back to CVS, and was quoted $222.99 . They gave me a copy of the rejection from my insurance co. I called my insurance company and was advised that the price they have in their system for the prescription is $ .81. I spent about 2 1/2 hrs. on the phone with your customer service, I was hung up on, I was treated as if I was an idiot and did not understand that you are in business to make a profit, and that prices due vary from pharmacy to pharmacy. I questioned if the price difference is 250% and they could not answer me. I asked to speak to the district manager and was told he or she does not get involved in this type of situation, so I told them maybe he would be interested if I decide to discontinue being a customer.

Gave out a three-month supply of medication registered in my name to a stranger

On April 20, 2023, I called into my local CVS Pharmacy located at 3700 Newark Street NW, Washington, DC 20016 to request a refill of my prescription for Tresiba. I got the shock of my life when I heard that I cannot get a refill until July 2023! The next day, I went into the pharmacy to ask about a refill and was told that I had taken an order for three months of Tresiba on April 17, 2023, a day on which I did not even leave my home! I told them that I certainly didn't take any such order, not even one package. They showed me some page that they had printed about the purchase, but I didn't make it. I asked how did the insurance agree to pay for such a large order when I had never at any time in my life taken such a large order from any branch of CVS or any of the pharmacies that I frequented while out of the country before February 1998. I was told that they would review their videos and would be able to give me an answer. I have not received any call sincw, so I have no evidence that anything at all was done about my problem. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau online and was issued a temporary complaint ID that was assigned the number 420716**-**f0-4a84-99**-**d4aaaae312. However, when I went to print out the complaint, the PDF showed no contact whatsoever except the office of the BBB involved. None of the text of my complaint appeared. I regard this omission as a very severe sign, especially because I need this medication critically. I have no confidence that the Better Business Bureau even received a complaint from me if that is how their website processed a detailed complaint. I have no idea what to do now except to file complaints elsewhere, which is what I have done. This is no small error and I am in danger as a result. I am asking that action be taken IMMEDIATELY on this subject because I did not receive any order of Tresiba whatsoever and I certainly did not receive an order for three months' quantity. The prescription requires refrigeration, and I do not have sufficient vacant space in my refrigerator for such a large quantity, so someone somewhere has done something VERY wrong. I will proceed to file complaints elsewhere now as I need an answer immediately. I cannot shrug something like this off!

Electronic Medical record glitches

Physician wrote for brand name drug and was specific in that request. Had the prescription filled at another CVS location because our closest did not have the drug in stock. Had the script transferred back when it was time to pick up other meds. Was dismayed to see that they filled with a generic! I explained to the tech that the doctor ordered brand and that the other CVS location dispensed brand ON THE SAME PRESCRIPTION. There were multiple refills left. The tech copped an attitude and argued with me that the doctor 'did not write it that way.' So how, then was I able to have the insurance pay for brand on the previous fill? She behaved as though I didn't know what I was talking about. I refused the generic, then called the other CVS location where it was originally filled to ask why that information was somehow lost in transfer to the other store. The pharmacist said that when a prescription is transferred, the other store that receives it is not able to see the original prescription! (Pretty stupid feature, if you ask me!) She was kind enough to pull the original script to see what it said. She verified that the doctor did indeed write for 'brand,' but that somehow, the phrase 'DO NOT SUBSITUTE' had not been checked off! We discussed how ridiculous that is, that a physician would take the time to write for 'Brand Only,' just to have it ignored by the system because some little box was overlooked. We think that maybe someone in the doctor's office neglected to pay attention to that in sending the electronic script. Yet, there's still this nagging feeling that there maybe some background program or something in CVS' EMR that negates requests for brand name drugs! It's so easy to have these electronic systems to make glitches. For all we know the office staff may have properly entered the data but then 'Whoops!' Furthermore, this is not the first EMR 'Whoops' that we've had with CVS. There is another prescription that they had repeatedly messed up, that we are just willing to pay out of pocket at another pharmacy so as not to deal with the hassle. CVS' policy seems to be so brazen, that instead of trying to honor doctors' orders, they do all they can to just slam the patient --and the doctor--into accepting inferior alternatives, just because it is what they prefer to keep in stock. Also, when they train their YOUNG employees, they should emphasize that the EMR is NOT the final arbiter of 'truth' when a customer claims that it is incorrect!

No reach out from Pharmacy. Not once.

Original review Jun 20, 2021
I have to say, I cannot Believe the way I was treated at CVS pharmacy on 3215 Grand Ave. I have a neurological and physical condition that causes numerous of ailments and other chronic conditions. One of them being widespread chronic pain. I am in rehab twice a week for my neurological condition and physical condition. due to these conditions I am on multiple medications. One of them being oxycodone (which the pharmacist are now refusing to give me). This medication was submitted in on 1/20/2021. It was due for fill on 1/23/21. On 1/27/21 I picked up other meds but was told that the oxi was ordered and will be filled on Friday 1/29/2021. I go to pick it up and I am being told by Jennifer that they only have 20 and the next order is not in for another 2 weeks. Now, I've already been given the info that I would have my medication, then I'm being told i won't have my medication that is, mind you, already way past my due date. No one called me to speak to me about it. Nor did anyone call my doctors. This is not the first time this pharmacy has done this. It's busy, and a lot is going on. We are all stressed and so I have always given then the benefit of the doubt... More than they have given me I can say. I have no more medicine and it's the weekend. I offer to just take what remaining they have(20) and forfeited the rest until Monday so we can deal with it with my doctor. Jennifer said no. I ask why? It's been done before. She says because I just don't want to, we aren't comfortable giving you this medicine. I said you can't do that... Especially since i have documentation proving my condition. I gave it to them during the first months. She became very cold towards me and denied even wanting to look at the documents I had on hand. I mentioned they were supposed to look into it with my doctor's. They did not. And they punished me for it. If they have a problem with it, tell me they need documentation...I have those documents and they refuse to even look at them??? Something is very wrong here! I have been extremely forthcoming with information and I was basically given a just go away already. I was having a mini panic attack (due to the uneccessary heavily stressful situation that with my parasympathetic system shutdown causes can create havoc), and Jennifer very rudely and uncaringly told me to leave her drive thru to help the person in the back. I told her I can't just yet because my system was reacting badly. They didn't care at all. I could barely drive away. I started to cry horribly from her non human treatment. I wasn't yelling. I kept polite. I said things and she said yeah you said that already. They gave me no excuse as to why they didn't supply me the medication that was sent in 9 days ago..with corespondent! I was treated like some ill-mannered druggy or something, and that's far from who I am or what I even look like. I hate to throw the race card out but I'm a black, younger looking woman and feel quite singled out. To not even try to be helpful after screwing a patient over???? I mentioned I wasn't doing well from the stress and no one even cared to check on me. I was still there I saw pharmacy employees hop into their car and leave without seeing if I was ok...and I was visibly having a hard time leaving the lot... Let alone the drivethru. Not only will I suffer but my service animal whom depends on me to take care of her will too. To be able to help and just choose not to for no good reason is just kind of evil in my book. Refused to even listen to me. I, having my chronic condition have to take these in order to live a somewhat daily life doing things such as going to the bathroom or making myself food or walking around or standing or sitting or being able to take a shower without horrible pain... or even looking at the phone while I am pain stakeingly writing this because even the lowest setting on my phone creates a massive amount of pain in my eyes. My traps are pinching as I write this. Even my TEEETH HURT. Believe it or not I am underplaying it. Every month, since I think August of 2020, I chose this particular CVS pharmacy to fill my medication because I trusted it and it was close to me since it's hard for me to travel far comfortably or even safely with my condition. Almost every month theyve had an issue with me having this particular medication one way or another with it being out. I am told to go to another pharmacy then. What did I do?? Just as I am writing this I feel so bullied and it hurts. Apologies for the dramatics but I'm tired... Just so tired of peoples cruelty and uncaring for understanding and empathy. I understand that there have been legal issues going on here in FL with that kind of medication but I assure you I don't fall into the category. For some of us it is imperative that we have it in order to survive and live. You can't just say oh well... You're going to suffer from our lack of communication and empathy and incompetence for not reaching out to your doctor's about this sooner and think this person will be fine. I am one of those people who needs the help! This can cause a person to go mad. I can't believe how inhumane I was treated. Like an annoying ugly little stray by Jennifer. Know what's it like to have arthritis in your spine and joints and pelvis and ribs! At the same time! Along with other stuff?? Last month the pharmacist Richard said to me, Without prompt, that my doctor better figure out something else to do because they dont want to give me these pills. I asked why and he said Without any documentation stating that I need them. I proceeded to mention how inappropriate I thought he was to approach me that way not knowing why and what is going on with me. Granted, I didn't react very well and wanted to say sorry for not being able to appreciate his concern but my goodness I was in so much pain that day - and he telling me sooner or later no to my medicine...sooner (Jennifer took it as next month apparently), He then said he understands and was trying to help me. He has no clue what I've been going through to rid myself of the excruciating pain I've been experiencing for 5yrs now. Oblasion. Injections. Different rehabs. But how do you injections to widespread neurological pain that was brought on by brain and spinal damage?? I said I've been trying to help myself and so have my doctor's and the documents needed where already given to this pharmacy and felt harassed by them. Giving me orders to hurry up and fix whatever is wrong with me... Which was literally said to me by Richard isn't something that should not be said to a customer...am I wrong? Is it? This is appalling. They refused my medication without even double checking with my doctors. I even self regulate. I know a few people in this same medication but get no hassle... Confused because I have proof. I was able to tell that some of the other employees didn't agree in the degree of mishandling. Felt very tense and toxic. I digress... If I had it in me, I'd sue them for the pain they have succumbed me to which is worse than anything they can even imagine, and this has and will cause more damaging psychological and neurological effects - helping ruin any recent progress made from my rehabilitation. I will never come to this pharmacy again. No one should trust them with their health. NO ONE. And no one should go through what they just put me thru. I'm in utter shock at the treatment. And what's crazy, is I left NYC to find a better doctor to heal me and have NEVER experienced such treatment from the pharmacy. I guess the ones who really need the help are the ones who will suffer from all the people who took advantage of this drug that I wish to God all the time I didn't have to be on. I am not one to complain or leave comments on any business, but my goodness did they do a number on me. God forbid any of them have to go thru what many of us have to go through. I'm so sad and disappointed that those people didn't care about my pain. Not even a little.

CVS is horrible to employees

CVS will cut employee hours and expects 1 person to do the job of 3 people but then the company gets upset when their Triple S score goes down. The company only cares for themselves not the employees. I worked there for 3 years never called out & always showed up to work on time. I decided to quit and gave the company a 1 month notice trying to give them enough time to find a replacement. Eight months later after quitting I received 2 old checks which should have been given to me. Both issue dates on the checks were written at later dates after leaving the company so I had no way of knowing I was receiving 2 more checks. That just shows you how much the store managers are cleaning out the pay stubs and checks out of the safe. They could have at least given me a call to tell me I had checks I would have went and picked them up. I am still trying to get my 2 checks re-issued and have now learned it's all of CVS that sucks. People working payroll and HR keep giving me the run around on my checks. I wouldn't recommend working for CVS they are absolutely horrible to their employees!
