I have attended several surveys, everytime it's showing reward is pending, there have been several rewards to be paid to me, if today itself I will not receive my all rewards so I will stop participating in next surveys, also I will send my views about it and screenshot of pending rewards on all the social media of your company.

Plumbing

My toilet in my master bedroom has been clogged several times from tissue not going properly to the sewage! Every time it gets clogged up waste from the street comes into my house! 3rd time its happened!! Plumber I paid for said that the plumbing wasnt ran right that the builders need to come fix it!! I can never get in touch with Crown community about this! There is literally waste comes in my house and i need this problem fixed asap! Im not paying for any more plumbers out my pocket bc this is an internal structured failure ftom the main builders!

Do Not Buy With Crown

When you call the warranty, they have an excuse for everything why they cant restore your house back to the original constuction. "They are not paying for it, we are. We dont have to match or air spray your walls" why not, the paint you are using look different.

Our subdivision was Crown and we bought the first home. I truly believe that with a combination of DeKalb county slack regulations and crown taking short cuts, our retirement home will not last thru our retirement. I was so angry when we had our 1 yr. Inspection to fix nail pops. They used watered down paint and now I can see the difference in the color. I think they must have used left over wood because now I can see patches or splits showing up on the staircase. The dryer vent and microwave vent must be built wrong because in the winter, I feel the cold air and the microwave is the same. Kitchen must not be insulated correctly because in the winter, it is super cold near the cabinets. Plus, the pantry closet is so hot in the summer, I leave the door open. Get this... Georgia is hot and I have to turn my thermostat so low upstairs to offset the heat during the day. If not, it takes a while to cool down. All attics should have a fan in Georgia to offset the heat. I have one air condition unit. If I set one, the other is the same. Never heard of that. It runs all the time plus, I had to pay 300 to get it gassed up and we are coming up on our 4th year. I feel like I was tricked especially when I visit other homes older than mine that dont have my issues. We are in our 4th year.

Scammers

Bought my home in 2014 new construction, what a bad decision I also blame the city inspectors and builder licensing departments. Within the first two years conveniently just after the two year warranty period, my roof started leaking or at least the leak became noticeable. I believe it was leaking the whole time but didn't become noticeable until it destroyed the sheet rock on the interior of my home. That's the time it became obvious to me when I could literally see water washing down the interior wall just behind my bed. After getting several professional opinions it was determined that the builders mist a step and neglected to install the required flashing around the fireplace. This should have been caught by the builders and inspector because its a major issue and should have been an area that a good inspector would monitor. Well not only did I have to repair the roof I also had to repair the interior walls 1st and 2nd floors. That wasn't the end of my money trap, I notice a loud noise coming from the plumbing systems after flushing or running water from any of the 6 areas that co-share the water main coming into the house. Ater giving it some time and trying remedies shared on line, I called a plumber who located the source and submitted his bid to repair the issue, which was subpar parts. The main shut off valve was the issue and was at the bottom of the quality control spectrum, especially since this is a custom home. Problem #3 is also plumbing related and more Subpar fixtures. Sitting at home one evening I noticed this flood of water pouring out of the ground non stop. The cause again was a subpar part that was never supposed to be used in the manner it was used causing it to erupt creating a hugh sinkhole. In addition might I add the builders warranty also proved useless, contacting them was a waist of time a reminder of your miranda rights " Any thing you say can and will be used against you" in other words thank for letting me know but that's your problem, have a good day. I also bought into the home warranty program " Select Home warranty and got nothing but the same a list of things they don't cover like valves and leaks outside the home or underneath. So if there is a leak most likely it will be a valve or joint but those critical areas are not covered. Lets change these consumer laws and lobby for more transparency in contract agreements eliminating small print all togeter. In addition for major purchases like a home instead of a two year warranty I believe a two year grace period and a 10 year bumper to bumper waranty where a consumer can reverse a decision and simply return the property without penalty would be a good motivator for manufacturers and builders to do there best work.

Crown is the WORST

We bought our home in Grovetown, GA in June 2010 and we experienced issues within the first few months. First with the yard. It rained for a few days two weeks after we moved in and the back yard landscaping washed away. We called for someone to come and look at it and to replace the sod. Well someone came by when we were not at home. They called later to tell us that the yard was not covered in the warranty. Strike 1. Then the AC unit stopped working the next summer, 2011, which was strike 2. We had to pay someone to come and work on it. Our electrical is terrible. No matter how many times we replace light bulbs, they never seem to work for very long. Now to end this on an even lower note, the wood trim around the outside of the house is disintegrating and water is getting into the inside of the house. Our house was so poorly built that I have no words other than buyer BEWARE!
