My system was unarmed and I did not do it.

I need to speak to someone directly. This is ridiculous no one is answering the phone. I will cancel my contract with you and go with another company if I cannot talk to someone on the phone.

My system was setting off a warning alarm that woke me up for over a month

My system would beep consistently throughout the day and the night it was it was a loud beep, and it would wake me . Month of consistent calls to customer service and request. When they did come out, they told me it was rectified. However, the problem consisted the next time I called the person insisted that it was not their CPI system. Finally, CPI acknowledged. It was their problem and send someone out however, if it was not fully resolved. I explain to them every time that it was interrupting my sleep several times a night it seemed that they did not take my concerns to heart. Very disappointed.

Car taken out of yard

CPI sucks, I have been having issues with my alarm systems ever since I had them. My car was taken out of driveway and camera didn't pick it up. Luckily I know who did take it but just think if I didn't know. They suvk and I'm looking for a new security system.

BUYER BEWARE !!! - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

THEY DIDN'T INSTALL ALL THE EQUIPMENT, WE DIDN'T SIGN THE AGREEMENT AND THEY'RE STILL TRYING TO BILL US OR CHARGE US $2M TO GET OUT !! TRULY THE MOST OBNXIOUS C.S. TEAM AND UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR I'VE SEEN IN A COMPANY

Poor customer service

False alarm at my home on October 15, 2022. Cpi called me on my mobile phone. I informed the young lady not to call police. I was looking at my home on my phone. I saw nothing suspicious. She sent the police anyway. I did not know this until I received a letter from local police. The same thing happened on Januarary 21, 2023. I have been placed on hold every time I call. No one ever picks up phone. I have been customer for over 10 years. I will be cancelling my service. You want proof I have service.

Completely Untrustworthy

On Monday evening my alarm system with CPI had a total meltdown with several problems causing alarm notifications to continue at regular intervals. I first contact them by phone. 30 minutes on hold and no one picked up. Then I used their "live chat." An hour before someone responded. Then I was told someone would be here on Thursday or Friday. I explained I had mandatory work engagement on Thursday and Friday. They texted they'd be here Tuesday or Wednesday. I took off work. No one showed on Tuesday. I was then told via text/live chat someone would be here between 8:00 - Noon on Wednesday. No one showed up. I texted back and was told I was never on the schedule but could get to me next Monday. Between the problems with the CEO's derogatory comments a few years ago and now this total lack of integrity when it comes to service, anyone who is thinking about an alarm service should look at another company. I couldn't get out of my contract when the CEO broke public trust. I am 5 months away from the end of my contract and I will be taking my business elsewhere. You should, too.

Poor Customer Service

It is impossible to get thru to customer service. Virtual agent takes your phone number and says they will call back in 40 minutes. You sit around and wait, and no one calls back. This happened multiple times. Finally got an appointment for service, and nobody showed up. They reschedule, all of this a process, and I get a virtual call that they are running late, and want to reschedule. Of course you can't answer that virtual assistant, and can't get thru to customer service.

Unethical business practices

My father just passed away. The system was in his name and he was making monthly payments. They called and threatened my mother with putting a lien on her house unless she paid for the security system in full. They are an unethical company for threatening a grieving widow. They knew they could take advantage of her, so they did. Shame on them.

Equipment is outdated and they want you to pay a high price to upgrade, It is nothing like they tell you on TV.

Outdated equipment. The outdoor camera does not notify us if someone is outside. The battery in the control box is small and does not last no more than 2 hours if power goes out. The speaker and the alert is only in the control panel and alerts only the intruder and not the surrounding houses in the neighborhood.

Twice, no response to alarm and once to inability to access my system, locked

Several days ago, tried to take dogs out and system was locked and I could not get it to accept any effort to enter and disarm my system. I tried in vain to reach CPI, no results, no answer. Approx 4 weeks ago, my alarm triggered, my fault, but nothing worked to disarm the alarm. Again, no call, no response from CPI. Do you still exist outside of the collection of the monthly? I need to be able to depend on a company who gets paid to do so. Please let me know if you are able to do that. I cannot live with an 'appearance only' alarm/security company. Please let me know what happened or, if you still exist.

Locked in my house

The security system was locked and I could not get out without using the emergency bypass. There was no response from CPI. It's like you don't exist except to collect the monthly. About 4 weeks ago, estimating, my alarm went off, my fault, but I was unable to shut it down for approximately 3-4 minutes during which time there was NO response from CPI. Again, do you exist for follow through service and are you available to immediately deal with security issues? Please let me know as I will gladly spend my money on an alternative service that works and works consistently. Thank you. My follow up is that CPI did not respond to my complaint. Nada, Zip.

Lack of response; have not installed purchased equipment.

Since January, I have been attempting to get a video door lock installed. CPI says that I have to get a missing part from the builder. Yet, four CPI employees stated that they would get the part for me. Like others, they do not return phone calls or emails. They are "all over" you to buy their products and services, however, they walk away after that. In this case, they stated that I did not buy the door lock from them. While the state that I didn't pay for the door lock, it was part of a package that included the door lock and a video camera that also was never installed. I want both of these items installed and properly activated.

CPI does not tell you the truth when you signup. Account #940****

I purchased and had the equipment installed on @/17/2020. I paid cash for a full year and was told by the salesman that by paying cash, I would receive 13 months of service. The next year I received an invoice for another 12 months of service and I paid that invoice. Come February of 2022 I receive an invoice for another year, and I decide to cancel the service. I notify them by phone and they tell me it must be done online so I do that. Because I had 13 months to begin with and had paid for another year, I assumed I was paid up until mid March of 2022. Then I get an invoice in April for an additional month plus a $5 late fee. I call them and they tell me that because I told them to end service on 2/17/22 I had to pay for another month even thought I had already paid for it. Plus they said they had already sent me an invoice and it was not paid on time hence the late fee. I suggest you never signup with them.

Alarm issues

Says living room windows low battery. Have dog and she is going bonkers. This is same reason that I left ADT. Once system installed then cannot get service. Hope that doesn't happen here.

Awful Service

I have been sitting here at home waiting for a tech to show up during the allotted time slot of 12 noon to 5pm (yes a 5 hour spread). So after being a hostage for 5+ hours, nothing has happened. Apparently no one at the office is monitoring the day's service calls and the progress. Simply disgraceful. The tech was supposed to be here to reattach my window sensors after I got new windows. I think this could have been settled without a call with some help from tech support but apparently they want to collect a service fee by sending someone to 'advise me'.

Unhappy Customer

I have attempted to reach CPI management regarding my dissatisfaction for several months. At one point, I received a call from a supervisor who stated someone would be reaching out to resolve my issue soon. It's been 3 months with not call/resolution.
