Reimbursement
I was called by Who's Who on different occasions concerning services offered upon my submitting fees. I submitted what was asked of me but no response. I would like to be reimbursed my money. I have tried to contact them on different occasions, no response. If I could just be reimbursed the money I put in I would appreciate it. I do not like doing it this way but I haven't been successful trying to make contact myself. If you could get them to respond I would appreciate it. If you could them call me at 770-374-**** I would appreciate it. If you could tell me what I need to do it would be appreciated. thank you.

They are a scam. DO NOT ACCEPT CALLS
Yes, I fell fr it. Paid the $189 for a two year membership followed by the $199 for the book that was due for the second quarter of 2016. I though the two free airline vouchers would be great. Holy *** what a lie. In order to get them, you have to stay a certain number of nights at a certain hotel which costs tons of money. But, they kept calling wanting that lifetime membership and each time I said no the price got lowered. Since I had not researched the airline vouchers, I agreed to a another $199 for a lifetime membership. So, now I have paid over $600. Once I realized the airline vouchers were *** and I googled all of the complaints, I filed with the BBB. BBB could never get a hold of them. So, once we hit the third quarter of 2016 and no book, I filed a complaint with the Florida Consumer and Fraud (lucky me that I live in Florida and their company is in Florida). I also filed a compaint with the Florida AG Office. Well, with all the email and payment documentation, guess what, after the Florida Consumer and Fraud contacted them, they responded. I got my refund for not receiving the book. I may not have gotten all of my money back, but getting $189 back was wonderful. (now keeping my fingers crossed that my bank does not have an issue with the check). Who needs them when we have so many ways to network for free via the internet.

I fell for this, spent over $500.00, suppose to have 4 round trip airfare tickets, have seen no magazine and this is July. Hang up and run, luckily they have an old credit card. Should of known. Can't people just be honest, I thought I actually accomplished something and was recognized for it. Does anyone know how to go about getting my money back? This stuff needs to stop, it is getting way out of hand. Funy how they don't return calls either, that is what led me to check this and I had some updating to do. I hope they get what they deserve, Kaarma sucks

Rude sales person... no integrity... no credibility
Man phones... Identifies his company... shoots with 20 questions... then asked "why do you want to be included in who's who?" my reply... (as I thought to myself who is "who's who" and what do they do?) I guess for the purpose of networking... you guys sent us about 5 emails asking for basic info... name... name of organization... so we decided to reply.... we were not really interested... you called us... but you can tell us... then the person in the middle of my sentence said "ok"... CLICK... he hung up... Very rude to do so... speaks volumes of the lack of intergrity and credibility... but makes a good illustration for our weekly Talk Show.. 1.5 million listeners... Good story for us to tell, bad testimony for Convington...

This Company is outstanding!
This company went above and beyond what its normal limits were for me !I have had outstanding customer service by all the employees working there,especially by Ann Silas. Who treated me with dignity and respect. It's a Honor to be chosen by this company for inclusion in their registry's. An Honor that I know is real when I talk to others and they see my plaques hanging on my wall and then they all say the same thing " Oh Wow " !" I can remember when my grandfather had his plaque hanging on the wall growing up at his house" and I'd say" Really what was your relative chosen for or what industry"? "He was a Surgeon For Women" . The next person seeing my plaque would say the same just different outstanding upscale business person nominated top of their field by this company. And I remember growing up when my mom got her "who's Who in America's Teachers" I endorse this company as professional, legit, and an Honor to be a member of.

After reading all these reviews I am glad I hung up on the lady today. She has been blowing up my phone - work and cell about needing to call her back right away. Even sending numerous emails. She kept saying how she has been working HARD on getting my profile ready so it could go live on Friday. There was the whole trip to Mexico and it was an all expense paid. I told her NO numerous times and finally hung up on her. All she wanted was money. I cancelled my credit card so they wouldnt have the number. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

Don't give money to Covington Who's Who
I just had the same experience. They were going to feature me as "professional of the week" in the next 2 days!!! I had to decide right away. Of course it would cost me $499 plus $29.95 processing fee. Then I would get 5 days in Cancun free! (for $528.95) but worth $1800!! But I had to pay my own meals and airfare. I asked what it the name of the resort but she never told me. I asked twice it was almost like she didn't hear me, but I think she would not state the name on purpose. She heard everything else I said. Thank you for this website. I was previously scammed for a total of over $1300 from this company. I should have checked with the internet first.

I was contacted by e-mail by this company saying I was among the top 5% of industry professionals in NC. And while I do work very hard and have a good educational background, no way am in the top 5% when I'm only 25. I UNFORTUNATELY took a while to process this, agreed to be published, gave my credit card information... then got the bright idea to research them and saw all of the scam information online. I called my credit card company in time to just cancel my card (yes, I went that safe with it), and e-mailed Covington back - because the number wouldn't route back to the person who talked to me on my "interview." Someone called me back, demanded to know why I wanted to cancel, and when I said after researching the benefits, it wasn't worth $800 to me.. she tried to sell a less expensive version, said I would never be offered membership again, blah blah blah. I didn't bother telling her the credit card I gave had been cancelled because it wasn't worth it. I work too hard for my money to waste it. I thought me being young and still learning, this offer would be good for me. No, I am just going to continue working how I have been and networking on my own.. hasn't failed me yet. Save your money, safeguard yourself.

I was called and did the interview. The rep. gushed over me and my "accomplishments". Then she asked me for $800. I told her that's ridiculous to all of a sudden ask me for that much money. She offered $500. As I was in the process of telling her no again, I googled them and read these reviews. THANK YOU FOR THESE REVIEWS. She then offered me the final $198. I told her I need to sleep on it, and she at least gave me a 24 hour window. Not giving them anything. Thank you again for these reviews. Go to the better business bureau's website for more about this scam. Do not pay these scammers.

Covington Who's Who Scam
When I filled out my application and received the call, I was told that it would be a one time payment, NOT a recurring one. But just today I saw that they took another $200 from my bank account! I did not give them the OK to do so, and the fact that I was lied is just ridiculous. Now not only do I have to go through the trouble of canceling this membership (they do not do very well with answering calls) but I also just had to close my account and file a claim with my bank to get my money back. Being that I am a full time student (double major in biochem and black studies) and working my way through college I feel like having to go through all of this because I was scammed is beyond ridiculous.
