Rude Treatment

On Friday, November 18th around 9 pm two friends and I entered the Comfort Zone. The lounge was crowded. We proceeded to the bar where we purchased drinks. I purchased a Rum Runner. We tipped the Bartender and walked around the club to find a place to sit or stand. The three of us walked over to the other side of the club, where there was a larger bar. At the corner of the bar, there were two sits open. At one of the seats there was a drink off to the side. The ice was melted and there was condensation on the glass. It appeared as if the person had just left it. My friends sat in the two sits. I stood for a moment and male offered me a seat. Which I was glad to receive and I thanked him kindly. We were having a pleasant time, enjoying the other patrons. I was sitting farthest away from my friend on the end, but I noticed two men approached her. They were talking for a little bit and I had no reason to think there was a problem. However, the taller of the two grabbed one friends phone and the others purse and I heard, "Silly *** this is my seat." The conversation got loud as they reached for their belongings. The men that were speaking with us quickly left and a short man that identified himself as a manager approached and was trying to make us move to a corner. My friend refused to move for two men who had left their seats at least 30 minutes ago. The manager said she had to leave and gave her a $7 refund for her drink. They left and I said I am going to finish this $11 drink and the manager told me I had to move. I said someone gave me this chair and he basically didn't care, and put his hand on my arm to move me. I left on my on accord because I refuse to be treated in that manner and we were sitting peacefully. Bottom line, there was no way to know that two empty chairs were "taken" at a bar. My girlfriend was intimidated my two older men who grabbed her person and her belongings and than by a manager. Then I received similar treatment by the manager. I am well travelled and I have never seen that behavior in a club/bar. You leave your seat, than it's an open seat. It was a clear lack of respect and we were treated like trash. You will never get a dime from me again.
