DVD Called Adopt a highway and DVD Loving Pablo in question always in the booklet but never have it for order or purchase

I called this morning about 2 dvd movies I was wanting to get,said they were no longer available then asked me for the item number,I just received this new booklet yesterday in fact so why is the dvd movies still in there if they are not able to be ordered,this is not the 1st time every month I see these same 2 movies and still tell me that they no longer available so once again why is they still inside the booklet for customers if they aren't available for purchase that is my question??Adopt a highway Loving Pablo

The cancellation process is difficult over the phone, and you have to remember to decline your monthly DVD, so you don't get charged.

The directors selection

Everytime I order the directors selection , I get charged 3 dollars more than it says in your catalog . I want to know why ? This has been going on for months now , and you are taking my money that you shouldn't be taking . I have called before , and was told that this problem would be fixed , and my extra money returned . But that person lied to me , and I want to know why ? Please , please can you help me with this , or do I have to go higher up ? I need to have my extra money returned , it is adding up !! Please Help !!!!!! Let me know if this can be resolved .

Unable to log in

Columbia House has changed their log in procedures. They offer 2 options: email and password for returning customers or account number and zip code for those receiving a catalog who have not logged in before. They do not have an option for someone who receives catalogs and who has been logging in with their account number and zip code. I have tried logging in with my account and zip, but to no avail. Unfortunately, I can't reset my password, as the email I had many years ago when I signed up is no longer valid. Someone may object that I should have changed the email on file with the company. That would have been prudent, but I had never logged on with my email.

Can't log into site

Columbia house has changed their website and will not let me log into my acct because my password is not the required length of numbers. The other is to use your acct number which I don't have because I'm a online paperless customer. I emailed them specifically telling them I don't know my acct number and they still tell me I can log in with my acct number. This is typical of Columbia house as every single time they have not read or comprehended the email. They obviously have illiterates or just plain idiots responding to their emails? I can't log in to decline a monthly selection and they will obviously ship it automatically

Columbia House DOES NOT CARE ABOUT DAMAGING SOMEONES CREDIT OVER $24.00 Rantoul Illinois

So after repeated emails and a lawyer I sought out to speak with them to lay it out, my complaint was taken serious. My $24.00 "debt" unfortunately had to be paid even though it was a fraudulent account, however after my attorney contacted them to rectify the situation, things spin into gear.

The $24 that ruined my credit has been completely removed as if it was not there at all, so I am back up with my great credit of 750!!! Thank you lawyer

I was contacted by Columbia House, or whatever they go by now (they have many aliases) and was informed that I owed $24.00 to their company. I was not aware of being a member of this oh so exclusive group. I was baffled by this phonecall as I had never heard of their company, nor did I subscribe to anything that they offered, which apparently were movies, and music. I informed them that I did not authorize nor did I have any knowledge of this expense, and I am disputing this. Silly me for not noting the name of whom I spoke with, who told me they would note that in their system and it would be taken care of. Flash forward to today. I went to review my credit report, and was shocked to see that this $24.00 payment was reported to Experian, under a "FAILED TO PAY". These people had the nerve to report $24.00 which affected my credit by almost 100 points!!!! You have got to be kidding me!!!!!! I did my research on this fraudulent, and deceitful company, and found out quite a bit. I would understand if this was an account I knowingly neglected to pay them. This was an account that I myself did not take out, and had no idea where anything was being mailed to as I sure as *** was not receiving anything. Apparently this account according to the "LOVELY" gentleman I spoke with on the phone was taken out many years ago. Now, it is 2013 no? And I receive a phone call now! When asked this question, I received silence. Of course, because they are *** full of *** I will be formally disputing this to the fullest extent to get this *** off of my credit. Really , a 100 point drop for $24.00 that I disputed. Starting with *** bull *** company, whom I have already called and emailed. Next stop is their collections agency who they secured, who also practices illegal acts , and methods. See below: This post will be put on any and every website to warn people that apparently an individual who has had their information used without the sole persons knowledge, neither of which you knew nothing of, will have the above happen to them, due to these rats that do nothing but look for ways to snipe people. Unfortunately, I now have a matter to handle, and am determined to take those MOTHERFUC**** DOWN!!!!!!!!!! DON'T FORGET TO GOOGLE COLUMBIA HOUSE, AND ITS BEST FRIEND BUREAU OF COLLECTION R. YOU WILL MORE OR LESS UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM TRYING TO CONVEY. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PATHETIC RAT OF A COMPANY THAT NEEDS TO BE PUT BACK IN THE SEWER WHERE IT BELONGS.

Columbia House is killing my Credit Score

In 2008 we canceled our membership and believed we had paid them off. In 2012 we received a notice in the mail claiming that we owed them $80. I thought it was a scam. Who doesn't say anything for 4 yrs. and then threaten you with collection? We called the service # to see if this was real or not, and the customer service rep. could not find us anywhere in the system. They had no record of us! I said, "it must be a scam". In 2013, I get a credit score report saying "Columbia House Collection for $80 still not paid". That *** me off!

Deceptive DVD Club terms!!!

Back in 2006 I opened a Columbia House DVD Club account, bought MORE than my three movies and thought I was done. This year a report shows up on my credit from Columbia House DVD Club. After doing some investigating and calling the collection agency, I find out that there is some fine print, somewhere, that says this contract renews every year! So even though I thought I met my obligation, I had not; those agreements renew annually WITH NO NOTICE TO YOU! I am disputing the collection. Had I known of this automatic renewal, I would have cancelled it. Now they want me to pay for a hidden obligation that I did not even know I had. They are calling it a breach of contract... I never saw the fine print in the online information I read...

What's all the fuss?? I'm happy with my relationship!

I've been members of both Columbia House and Disney movie clubs for some time now and have always found them to be attentive, courteous and quick to jump on any problem(s) that I were to point out. I, too, cannot find a phone #, but their is an e-mail address which I have had to use a few times because of something I did - duplicated orders - and they were within 24 hours when responing - usually informing me that they had already handled the problem. Lastly, DO NOT EVER deal with a collection agency. An agent is just a stumbling block and you will get further, find faster resolve and better working terms (if problem found to be your fault in all or part). I will find the e-mail address and post it in a little bit.

Not able to log on to prize vault

I have tried to log on to prize vault & not able to. At one time it would come up automatically but now it does not appear so I have not been able to ply for several days. It is very discouraging not to be able to get the chance to win a prize because it no longer shows up automatically. I enjoy trying to win something and now I am unable to take part. This is truly unacceptable and unfair. zi do hope there is some way for you to correct this problem so I can once again, play game.

Columbia house has robbed me.

First they kept taking money out of my account after I sent a letter back to not do so. Now I am with a new account and have not received the money they took after sending the movie back a month ago. They have made my life ***. I feel it is a rip off. If you take your money out before they can get it for weeks, the day you don't they take out all those weeks out in that day. The other frustrating thing is you can't talk to anyone. I have tried and failed. I am enfuriated!!!!!!!
