Poor follow through
The area rep did call me back with a passive aggressive response. At least she replied and the company is aware of her poor follow up Thank you so much

Disappointed
I had applied, and got contacted right away which was great, and then set up my interview about 2 days later. The interview went great and she offered me the job right away and said I could definitely think it over and get back to her. Then the next morning I did and said I would take the job, and she asked for my references. Then a couple days later she asked which days and times I could attend an event they were throwing, and I could only make it to one day and one time, (because I had less than a week advanced notice). When I told her that she told me that she didn’t think I could only attend one day and that I would need a background check and orientation before I could attend and that it was most likely not able to happen and it’s been about 2 weeks and I haven’t heard from her. I am highly disappointed because if that was the case then she has 4-5 days to schedule orientation and a background check for me before the event and did not. So I assume I am no longer working there and have not had a formal let go either.

Worked for them for 2 months and was fired one day because I was ill. This is very illegal and shouldn’t happen ever at a workplace to be fired for being sick

Such a love hate relationship that i have with this company. When we lived in Indianapolis the person in charge was incredibly involved if there was a complaint from the client and she checked in to see how each family was doing from time to time plus how each sitter was after babysitting. Since moving to pa, We have used this college nannies company maybe 4 times. Twice we put down the times we needed a sitter and twice the separate sitters canceled the day before we needed her even thought the website said she had open avail during this times. Another incident with this company, we had a sitter for a few hours in the evening. After she left my boys complained that she played on her phone most of the night (after explaining to her rule to babysitting that that was my pet peeve), she refused to play with my kids, and then she even fell asleep on the couch!!! In college nanny defense, they did give me a two hour credit although They never contacted me about the incident to discuss until i called them two weeks later complaining. WellSame thing happened when i called and left a message this last week to explain my disdain with the last "cancel"--it's been a full week and still no call back from the head of the company. So.....the track record isn't so stellar thus far for this company. These things are definitely added Salt In the wound added to the fact that i paid a one time fee of $129 to sign up, then their sitters are a whopping $21 an hour and And 55 cents a mile if they take your kid anywhere.(!!!). Yes..... U read that correct!! For that price i imagined girls who are excited to work, come with crafts every time, cook, clean etc and a company who reaches out to those clients who are disgruntled seeing as how WE THE CLIENT are the bread and butter of every company. however the nice thing is that they prescreen the girls prior to, with rigorous protocol And testing and make them certified in cpr. The head person comes to your house to interview you and the kids to get preferences for a sitter. Then they relay this info, your preferences, diet and allergies etc to the sitters (even though, truth be told, one of my preferences was to have them bring a craft for my boys each visit and that's never happened once lol) . So the company is the active middle man between you and the sitter. Plus they have an app that is similar to Uber where you go on and choose the girl you want (normally 1 to 5 sitters to choose from unless they cancel on you the night before) . The sitters are not permitted to say no although from my earlier statements you see that's seemingly a loose rule. The other nice thing is that the pay happens automatically. So i never have to have cash or check for the sitter. The hours are logged and it comes out from my credit card or checking and a receipt is emailed. The quality of sitters is seemingly a touch above care dot com if u can get them to commit.....but not sure it's enough to justify the price per hour. So yes. It's bitter sweet for us and at times it's much appreciated yet other times quite an irritation But in truth, knowing that the sitters only make about half of the fee the parents are being charged $10/hr for two kids and never see the travel fee!!).....it's no wonder they don't have great work ethics.

College Nannies and Tutors sent a completely unqualified "Nanny" to my home to care for my 8 month old. When I called to complain, they said I couldn't complain because the service was paid for by my job? So, that should allow a horrIble sitter care for my child acceptable? And, when I walked in the sitter was fast asleep on my couch while my daughter screamed in her crib. I'd miss weeks of work before I ever let them in my home again.

Please do not use this company. They are the most inconsistent respite company that I have ever dealt with. We have had for placements since July. One quit due to go to a new respite company, the second one was a terrible placement on their part as he was driving a great distance and complained the entire time after he was over 15 minutes late making me late for my class, the third one I never met because they inadvertently canceled her the first week and the second week she had already quit their company and today the day before she's supposed to be here I'm being told we're getting yet a fourth nanny tomorrow whom we've never met whom I'm supposed to trust to drive my child to an appointment and care for him. I will be missing class again because of their inconsistency. So if you just want some leisure time this may be okay for you but if you actually need the time I wouldn't recommend them.

I would tell them to run. Molly Colvin of College Nannies and Tutors is very pushy about her candidates. I felt like the entire operation was very low key. I expected from their fancy office in the zona rosa that my family and I would receive top notch service. We unfortunately received just the opposite. I contacted CN+T before I had my baby, never heard from anyone - So after I had my baby I went back into the office to see what was going on. By that point William (my son) was 3 months old, the lady in the office told me that they would look around and that I should come back when it was closer to the start date. I went back to the office again after no one called back when it was 30 days prior to the start date as advised. I was asked for paperwork which I had thrown out ( my bad) they gave me new paperwork and asked me for my qualifications and hours for a nanny. I provided this information 3x. The young women said that she would look around and give me a call the next day. I didn't get a call for a week and when I finally called them they said they couldn't start without the paperwork... Might have been a little better to tell someone that up front... I turn in my paperwork next day and a week later receive 4 applicants. I was interested in 1 but had a second one that would be next in line. I find out my first one doesn't even meet my schedule (why would they send me her anyways then?) The second one can only interview during the week in the mornings. I already told them in email and on the phone I could not meet in the mornings I can only interview now in the evenings after 530, since I am already back to work and they apparently could not get it together 3 weeks ago to get some interviews going. When I explained this to the General Manager Molly Colvin, she became irrational trying to tell me it was my fault for not turning my paperwork in sooner. Then, she said that CN+T process was that you interview the 4 applicants they send to you. I was not interested in 2 of the applicants then she became upset that I didn't want to even bother interviewing with them because she said I wasn't giving them a chance. She said those were the only 4 they had for my hours and I should choose one of them... Sorry college nannies and tutors I am/was paying to find the perfect fit and I don't have to settle for one of your 4, there are plenty of fish in the sea. Also, can't imagine if I was looking for someone full time since my job was only 6 hours a week... Maybe Molly needs to go back to training, or maybe she is just used to dealing with college students that are easy to push around. I felt bull-dogged and like she was trying to bully me.
