Trying to get reward points added from my last visit

I tried to contact the local Cinema and also tried corporate to see what I could do to get points added to my reward, even if I didn't have the receipt. I paid in cash. Thanks

Needed assistance to see what procedure to follow to have my last theatre visit added to my rewards

Couldnt get assistance on how to get my last visit added to my rewards. Didnt receive a receipt for the purchase of my tickets that I paid with cash.

Horrible experience with manager

Assistant manager Darlene Kowalski questioned my integrity and my wifes integrity by questioning my babys age. She stated that I stole from her tonight because she didnt believe the age my wife and I provided of my baby. After I communicated to her she had ruined my familys experience, she doubled down on terrible customer service, she has terrible deescalation skills. Additionally, I requested the phone number for the CMX corporate office which she refused to provide and called security on me. Very disappointing experience. I have been coming to this theater for years and I have never felt so disrespected and disappointed. Furthermore I feel this behavior was racially driven as I am of Hispanic ethnicity, my family and I felt singled out by this manager as no one else with young children encountered this issue but us.

Got charged twice

Got an email saying my card didnt go through so I just went in person bought the tickets cash and watched the movie when I get home I Check my bank account and got charged twice so I basically payed 3 times to watch a movie

I am waiting for my answer about becoming a Diamond member since January 28

I was told that I would be promoted to a Diamond member since there was so much trouble transferring my points from Cobb to CMX. I still haven't had that happen. I am still listed as a Gold member on my app. I was told again that they were working on it but nothing has changed.

Tyrone “Luxury” Bait and Switch - Date night ruined

We planned a date night last Sunday for tonight to see A Man Called Otto. We bought our tickets on Sunday. We were the first to purchase tickets for this showing. I always need to sit in the back row. This was advertised and shows on my receipt as Auditorium 5, row J. Show up tonight and get all our snacks. I happen to glance at the seats and notice it says E1 and E2. Double checked my receipt to confirm it shouldve been row J. Went to customer service where the manager proceeds to make me seem like Im an idiot telling me they dont even have a row J! Then how did I buy these tickets I asked. He had no answer for me. Extremely disappointing. He tried to put us in a couple of leftover seatswhich is NOT what was an acceptable solution. We ended up not being able to see the movie tonight. Even though he refunded our tickets and snacks, it doesnt change that it ruined our movie date night wed been looking forward to. We asked if theyd changed the theater and he said they hadnt. Well, upon rechecking, thats EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID! They moved it from auditorium 5 to auditorium 1 which has 2 less rows. They didnt bother to notify or adjust the purchased tickets accordingly! I cant make this stuff up! Thanks a lot for such a *** move! Im done going there. I dont care how many passes we get, this isnt about free passes. Which is a good thing because the passes the manager, Luis, gave us expired in December of 2022! This is about disappointment, loss of trust and poor decisions on the theaters part. I plan to reach out to their corporate office about it. Not acceptable.

Didn’t receive purchased tickets

I purchased 3 tickets from CMXs website to see Avatar. I was charged for the tickets, but I never received an email with the tickets included.

Resolved: Family refused service with tickets to Wakanda Forever.

We did receive email and letter from manager stating this was handled poorly. He did send us some passes.

I must say though that I'm not sure we will go back. Having an unpleasant experience is not something I would want to do again.

CMX Cinema, Countryside Mall, Florida - Family kicked out because your theater was not able to sell large popcorn. I chose not to have popcorn. The Manager(?) started yelling about why corporate theaters could not sell large popcorn. We can live without popcorn then. I had with my family already left the concession and was headed up the ramp to the ticket taker when manager(?) threw us out. Said she wasn't going to take me raising my voice to her. Funny thing, because she is the one that chose to unnecessarily escalate this and shout the popcorn explanation at me as I was already headed to the ticket taker. Check the theater video. It clearly shows her continued goading. She is a "Karen" and she wanted to cancel my seeing of Wakanda Forever. See the pictures, she is even enjoying throwing my kids and me out on New Year's Eve. My family has been coming to the Countryside Mall, Clearwater, FL theater since before my 14-year-old son was born. We can live without popcorn. Super disappointing that because we chose not to conform to the offerings of the day we were thrown out. I guess the customer is never right. Now my rewards account is not working, and I appear to have lost the three reward tickets that were used and not refunded. Ripped off for sure. I believe the involved manager(?) has sabotaged my "Rewards Account". She unnecessarily escalated this at an alarming rate and certainly is not who I would have representing my company. Two concession vouchers of $10 each and 3 admission tickets have been stolen from me. Happened 12/31/2022 @12:15pm - see security video to see what happened.

Wrong address for film

I tried to take my kids to see their first movie, but unfortunately it was the wrong location. I know I clicked on Skokie, Il, to see the Polar Express, but when I got here they said I booked for out of state. I would like a refund, here is my confirmation number A093322**** and for you to fix your website so people don't purchase tickets for out of state. thank you, Jackie Ogawa

Great customer service response.

I have been saving my movie receipts for the past 4 years (as instructed by local CMX staff) waiting for the Rewards program to get up and running. Now that it is i could not find a way to incorporate my receipts into my account. SAM from customer service responded to my email quickly and efficiently. It was actually refreshing to get some one who spent the time to resolve a problem. 5 big stars for SAM in customer service.

Expansion of Business to Bloomington, IL

I recently visited a CMX Cinema in Sarasota, FL and was impressed with what I saw. I know you have two locations in Illinois and was inquiring if you ever considered a move to Bloomington, IL? There is an empty theater (Ovation Cinema Grill, 415 Detroit Drive, Bloomington, IL 61704) that went out of business in March 2020. The theater was remodeled and converted to a dine in theater between 2015-****. It is a great location that is just waiting for a new tenant to arrive. Just thought I would throw it out there. Thanks!
