Fraud

Someone claiming to be publishers clearinghousenamed Carl gave me an account number903968wanted me to check the balance and call him back I think I almost became a part of scam but I made some calls and my wife used to work at a bank so we knew better

Annoyed

I know u have money for advertising, my goodness please stop running the same commercial for an eternity. I hear it come on, and im suddenly repulsed by your bank now. Cute in beginning can quickly become overkill. Think someone in your advertising dept would know that. Now its a turn off to your products. Just thought you needed an eye opening comment. I dont even need to describe the commercial as youve only had one for as long as i can remember and it plays constantly.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE (on line)

None of the Customer Service AGENTS ( ON LINE ) know how to help customer. They do not even try to understand the issue .Keep on giving incorrect and not valid suggestions. THEIR TARGET APPEARS TO BE " HOW NOT TO ASSIST OR HELP and take care of the concern, even though when BANK is at FAULT.On top of this all they do is HANG UP. Rude behaviour Average conversation time is 40 minutes + with no solution. It is waste of time. I was in one of their MORTOR BRICK branch, Agent their was facing similar treatment from them on PHONE . This results in NO SOLUTION. They also seem to be frustrated by the Agents (ON PHONE)

Credit card application

I tried to apply on line for a credit card the online app. Is so different it kept messing up. Called customer service a nice lady helped me with an online application . Said I would be notified. Now it shows that I had too many attempts and has REJECTED ME. The application app. is one of the most difficult I have ever seen If this is the way Citibank does business

Because I can't get a person to speak with about my issue that hasn't been addressed by automation

I am trying to make a payment even though it is not due . We have over $1500 due on our card & want to keep pu checking account better updated than this

Zero customer service!

Just got off the phone with a supervisor (from outside the country of course!) from Citibank. He suggested I pay off and CLOSE my Citibank credit card or research other cards to transfer my balance to, so I can then CLOSE my account of 35+ years. Wow. Incredible customer service! Never had a company refuse my business. How low can they go??!

No refund of deposit on secured credit card

My boyfriend sent a $400 deposit to acquire a secured credit card from Citibank over 2 years ago, the original agreement stated the deposit would be refunded after 18m . He never went over the limit and made all his payments on time. For the first year he paid off the entire balance every single month, even When it came time to refund the money they told him they would do another review in 12 more months and revisit refunding the deposit then we made a call to the company today to see if they could work with us on this issue and refund the money or at least lower the APR since he has been essentially paying outrageous interest (over 28%) on HIS OWN money for over 2 years now. In an attempt to improve his credit rating, to no avail. They refused to offer him any sort of explanation or budge at all on him having to wait another year to be reviewed. This is ridiculous and these secured cards only keep people down and force them further into debt rather than help them improve their credit. Their customer service was extremely disappointing and the fact that this is even legal is appalling to me.

Card application

20 plus years ago my ex-husband had an account at Bank of america. He settled on an outstanding debt. My name was attached on the checking account. Ever since he settled on the debt I have not been able to apply for a Citibank card or Costco card. Is there any way I can do anything to be able to apply and or get consideration for getting a credit card whether it be Alaska airlines Costco or Citibank in my name. What do I have to do? Am I banned from Citibank for life?

Did not agree upon their decision

I have good credit and a good credit score and I applied for this credit card for the special rates to help with my dad and I was denied. I am on time with paying all of my bills I have excellent credit history. They would not give me a chance because they seen that my debt ratio was a little bit High which I tried to apply for this credit card so they can help me and they would not do it. If you're in my situation you will not get approved so waste your time.

Worst customer service

I called to dispute a charge and got the run around after calling 4 items. Then I escalated to a supervisor and they said they would take care of the charge and still nothing. Then I call several times and still nothing.

I need your address for a wire transfer

I was just trying to find a phone number to get what I thought was the address but I needed the routing number for Citibank so that I could have the money transferred through Citi New York and they were just a lot of different options for a lot of different things but that's all I needed so I have no idea how I got this labeled review. The first fellow was pretty sure that he didn't know and I would have to Google it online and as I persisted that I thought as a city employee he should be able to find that for me since I was at my bank he did. So that was good.
