Horrible and Rude Customer Service!!

I bought a prescription medication Stemzine 5mg TAB from Chemist Warehouse Forest Hill (415 Springvale Road, Forest Hill) today at 11:10am on 21/08/2023. After consulting with my family doctor, I was advised that due to the harmful side effects of the drug, it was best to return the item to the store of purchase. I called up and spoke with the Pharmacy Assistant named Cedric that same afternoon and he advised me to come back in and get a refund for the item, but it had to be done today or else that would not be possible. I am nearly 80 years old and am experiencing extreme dizziness, therefore with assistance from my son, I travelled back to the store to get the refund of $6.30. However, upon arrival, I was asked to go to the dispensary at the back and speak with the pharmacist herself (she did not give her name but was a young lady of Asian appearance). She was rather rude and abrupt and at one stage even said "do not interrupt me", which we found rather rude. She claimed due to the fact that I had written on the box, it was therefore damaged and was unsellable! After a few minutes of arguing over the stupidity of it all, we reluctantly left. She only gave the option of returning the script and disposing of the medication themselves, or alternatively we take the medication home and dispose of it ourselves. I found this to be unsatisfactory and I am wondering why I should even bother shopping at Chemist Warehouse. I get much better customer service from other pharmacies. I am going to post this negative review whereever possible. I have photographic evidence of the item and the receipt.

Withholding scripts

Im a disabled lady with chronic illnesses Ive had them refuse scripts constantly and fixed up the paperwork issues and still withholding scripts from a hospital specialist its disgusting how they treat me as a disabled person its sickening how they label people as drug seekers even after Ive had drs letters stating Im on ndis and my disabilitys its really sickening every time I need a script filled same issue constantly never had a chemist treat me like this in the past should be ashamed of themselves I really wish I could pass on my disability to the staff and then refuse to fill them

Complaint about store staff

I've made an order yesterday before 3 & I paid $41 for the fast delivery & I've called the chemist a few times to check & they said that they just waiting for the delivery man to pick it up!!! I cant believe it, they lied to me they didn't process my order till late & of course they closed & I haven't got it! I explained to them how desperately I needed & they said of course no problem you'll definitely get it tonight!! Na the only reason I paid $41 so I can get it in 3 hours! Now I would like to claim back my delivery fees please! Is anyone from the customer service can give me a call on: 043573**** Thx Angelina Kay

Very Bad customer service staff

Yesterday I was shopping from chemist warehouse Blacktown Main Street it cost $294.70. When Im arrived home I checked every item but one of the item I want to return and 2 perfume I have to exchange 50 ml to 100ml .I said the staff 100 ml but they give me 50ml. Today I was return and exchanged the staff are not accepting.Why? My item is not damaged and its new. One of the staff her name is (Jessy ) she opened the item and up and down doin and squeezed the suns screen and she called another lady her name is anjini she is said to me use . I said its not use I bought yesterday you can check receipts but they are not checking. They said its use but Im not use and she is open the item. Why very bad customer service they are not listening and patiently explaining. Hows rude . I must telling all my friends and family relatives. I will report on the customer service. Im not coming about $30 for sunscreen and wasting my time . I just coming for my right. If I dont want the item I can return within 7 day. Im trying to explain but she called security why??? But security is vey good and patiently listening and checking my item. Im right but he tell I will called for you manager . But he come back again and the man staff telling you are use . Why the opening my item and why they telling use? Thats cheating to me. Very bad customer service. They dont know how to talk the customers. Security is better than the staff. I feel very upsad. Its happening Blacktown Main Street NSW. Lastly they exchanged perfume . And the staff rudely written my receipt use item . But Im not use . Thats very not fair for me . I feel very upsad.

Very bad customer service

Yesterday I was shopping from chemist warehouse $294.70. When I arrived home around 8pm then I checked my item .one of the items I didnt like it thats why I want to return but that time chemist warehouse is closed.today I want there and return that sun screen the staff opened that item and they said to me use but Im not use. The staff is very bad customer service. Their name is (Jessie and anjini from Blacktown Main Street chemist warehouse) they are not patiently explaining and listening.whatever Im explaining they said to me loud. Item is never used. And I bought yesterday. How can I use?i explain but they open the item and doing up and down and they said use. Why they are open ?Very bad customer service.Im never going that chemist and tell all my friends and family relatives. Lastly they call security he is coming and talking and patiently listening. Im showing my receipt he checks and he asked me everything nicely. The staff didnt know how to talk the customer. And they are not taking my return. The sunscreen is $30 only .if Im use how can I come but Im not use and 100% Im right to return thats why coming on my right. But Im very upset to do this happen. For buy anything good customer service For returning very bad customer service . And I want to talk the right person they are calling security why ? Please tell the staff how to communicate the customer .

Customer complained

Every time I am at chemist warehouses noble park. I have been followed by the security attendant in the store. Unable to select makeup. Unable to purchase another add on while I am in the the store. The attended security man today. He folded his arm looking at me from top to bottom glaring at me with a challenge. When I complained to staff manager. The he asked me if I own him. I said no I dont own you as will as you dont own me. I am been a customer in this chemist for more than ten years. I can get my script from Nova at Waverly garden. Closer to me. But I am in the stage of pulling my script from chemist warehouse. And the staff manger. Told nothing she could do. Her name is Mona.

Lodged a complaint about a pharmacist with HO and customer service ignored my grievances and has left the matter unresolved. They employ unskilled staff especially in their call centre.

Call the customer service team to find out. They are incompetent and refuse to assist the public all they can handle are missing orders and have no scope for anything more.

Today's CW unpleasant adventure. If they do the right thing, belatedly, I will update.

Very shoddy indeed. I returned a new Colgate Blast water flosser which I bought 10 days ago and which did not work, and the attendant was clear that they could do nothing because I had not brought it back within their required 7 days. She was unhappy when I told her of the effect of consumer protection legislation. Two more people followed, the second Andrew S, who I was told was the manager. He insisted firstly that they'd test it, and that if it didn't work they would have to send it back to the manufacturer who would make a decision. To his credit when I spoke to him, fairly yet firmly, about the fact that the legislative responsibility lies with Chemist Warehouse and it is *** to spin me such a line, he was accepting if resentful. It was left that they would test the unit and contact me. I am sorry for all those people who are not lawyers and thus who accept the dreadful refusal of responsibility of Chemist Warehouse. When I purchased the water flosser my total purchase that day was 311.91. But no more money to this shoddy uncaring group.

Very damaged goods

Order placed 7th april value $123.56. Recieved yesterday, magnesium tablets, smashed bottle even though individually wrapped. Glass everywhere resulting in cut finger. Loreal night cream, also wrapped. Jar broken, lid off, jar cracked with cream oozing out and plastic and glass all through. Had to throw in bin. The carton came in vgc. All products individually wrapped. I also know I didnt order 6 oral B toothpaste. I often order online and never had such a problem and cant understand why I cant get click and go on ALL products at my local 2 stores. I dont drive so therefore order online. I always got a copy of invoice with my orders, this time nothing. Hoping to hear from you, regards, Daphne Cowan.

The Cannington chemist warehouse manager NAME Beyond. She iS so rude and so clever in stupid way.

My wife bought a eyebrow stuff from Armadale chemist warehouse by mistake she took the wrong one and the same day when I went to the Cannington store to return she took the instruction paper and told me its disappear so I cant take it. When I talk to my wife she was so upset . The manager took the paper because i bought it from Armadale store.HER NAME IS BEYOND. Please people if you do that mistake please keep eye on her she is not honest. Shame on her.Because every one is working hard.

Chemist Warehouse Charged $9.99 for delivery but didn't deliver to the address

I purchased a product from Chemist Warehouse for 97 years old and paid $9.99 for delivery to the home address since 97 years can't walk around and needs the product for pain relief. However, Chemist Warehouse never delivered the product to the home address but directly took it to the local AU post office. They never stopped at the address and wasn't even bothered to leave a note to pick up from the post office. When I called Chemist Warehouse, the customer service was acting like a robot reading from the notes left by Au post and simply claimed no access to the address. The truth is that 97 years old was waiting at the front gate for the whole afternoon and there was no gate!!! The customer service was ridiculous and kept pushing me to Au post while I purchased product from Chemist Warehouse and paid delivery fee to Chemist Warehouse. The customer service was rude enough to hang up the phone.

Terrible service

Ordered product online, no mention it was out of stock, inquired after 7 days only to be told it was being picked, no further information received so contacted them by phone only to be told it couldn't be supplied. all lies and deceit, shouldn't be taking orders for products they Know are out of stock at the suppliers end. will not deal with again.

My query was not resolved. It took weeks of emails and finally phone calls only to be told they couldn't assist. Not happy!

Extremely disappointed at the way I was treated as a customer

I went into the Ashbourne store 13 December at approximately 11.30.. to do some Christmas shopping. As I browsed the cabinets for some aftershave. I noticed the security man was standing right beside. I asked him why was he standing so close to me. He said I walked down to him which is a total lie. He walked from the door door to where I was looking. He came very aggressive towards me when I asked why he was so close. And proceeded to verbally abuse me.. I went to the manager told her what happened. She didnt take him off the floor to find out what happened. She moved him to a spot where I could still hear him. And no apology from the way I was treated in that store. As a result I walked out and didnt purchase anything. I will never return to that branch or any branch of chemist warehouse. And I will take my percripsion else where I work for another retailer pharmacy. But I liked the selection that the chemist warehouse had absolutely disgraceful behaviour from that security Gaurd .. when I asked for his PSA licence he didnt show it to me.. because I dont think he had it.. extremely disappointing experience.
