Need to book seats!

I need to book seats for my flights but cant get a hold of anyone. Ive tried to reach out several times.

Canceled flight

Chatdeal messed up my returning flight , and tried to blame the airline for canceling, airline blamed chatdeal to not confirm my flight changes. Long story short , I'm stuck for another day in Italy, paid close to 1400 for another flight home. The worst is to have to listen to their story , that was not their fault. Simple as this , book your flights direct with company, cut this chatdeal off , they definitely don't know their job.

Bad incompetent booking of flights that will leave you stranded

STAY AWAY FROM THESE THUGS. Pay a little more and go with reputable travel services. They may sell you cheap tickets with multiple legs and you are bound not to make your connection. If you want to preserve your sanity do not use chatdeal. STAY AWAY AND YOU WILL PRESERVE YOUR SANITY.

Total scam

Chatdeal is partnered with kayak and is fraud. They booked my tickets and once the payment was processed they cancelled my tickets and not refunding. They even denied dispute from bank. Theyre 3rd party please dont book your tickets with them.

Cancelled flight due to serious health condition

I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, had to chemo immediately, cancelled flight in March, 2 months before flight to London for coronation, have called, live chat, emailed at least 10 times, and there was a schedule change on my flight, qualified for refund, still nothing almost 2 months later. Supervisors dont call back its a complete sham!!! Do not use this company!!!

Purposefully frustrating customers so they don’t have to reimburse

I booked a British Airways flight through them however I had to cancel it due to COVID related issues. I have an email from one of the Chatdeal agents saying that airlines issued a credit that can be used for making a new booking until Sept 30th. But chatdeal has been making me go in circles and not letting me use the credit. Their hope is that I give up and they do not have to deal with my case.

Worst Customer Service - Possible Scam company

Booked a flight on Kayak to fly Turkish Airlines from Dallas to Ljublijana and then from Budapest back to the US. Got a decent deal so approved it. The flight was in 4 stages (Dal-Ist-Lju-Buda-Ist-Dal). Everything went smoothly. Until TA cancelled one of the flights. The Budapest to Istanbul flight was cancelled. They said we had to go through the 3rd Party to change. The 3rd Party is ChatDeal. Went to the website to change our schedule for another flight from Budapest to Istanbul. Everything was fine. We thought. Turns out the website ALSO changed our departure flight from Dallas. It moved the flight to the next day. This totally screwed up our schedule. AND they charged us over $1700 as a "Change Fee". The departure date should never have been touched. We reached out through chat to get the issue fixed. No change. Three times we got told the issue had been resolved with no change. Eventually called and spoke with their "Customer Reps". No help. They said a manager would call the next day. No call. Finally I spent nearly two hours on the phone and spoke with 5 different people only to eventually be told that we had approved the change so the only way to change it back would be to be charged ANOTHER fee. Even though it was their website that had made the change, and it wasn't noticed because the flight schedule was so convoluted it was missed. But they were no help at all and their website screwed us over. It appears ChatDeal's customer service mantra is "We already have your money, what are you going to do about it? Give us a bad review?" It's just another Indian Call Center Scam Business. Never again going through a Third Party.

I was scammed

Kayak routed me to ChatDeal to book my ticket. They own ChatDeal and it turned out I was scammed by $500 when I wanted to make a change on my reservation. They told me the new fair would be $8000 more than I paid for a one way business ticket from San Diego to London,. I saw that major airlines charged less than half of what the Finnair price was. When I called Finnair they said talk to ChatDeal. When I called ChatDeal they said talk to Finnair. So, I got nowhere and lost $500 and bought a United Airlines ticket for less than half of what the surcharge would have been if I kept the Finnair ticket.

Im not pissed just worried

I am not a pissed consumer just concerned and very worried. I wanted to speak to a live person because I was told the name change was not necessary just a spelling error and quick fix. Five to seven days is a long time to be worried about a trip I have so much resting on. Im traveling with my mom who is traveling for the first time and Im going to be seeing a friend who is going to be admitted to a hospital and I need to be there. I worried needed to hear a voice

Airline charges and canceled my plains. Chatdeal customer service take care all the problem The phone was very easy quick anwerd compar to other companies

Don't do it

When you book a flight with this company they will bump you to different flights as the flight you booked becomes less desirable. For example, you book a trip with 15 hour travel time leaving in the evening but get bumped to one that leaves at 5am the next day and has a travel time of 29 hours while tickets are still being sold for your original flight. Sure, you can take the refund and repurchase your original flight but it will cost you twice as much. Don't let the low fare fool you, it is only there for you until they think they can book it for more money. Their customer service is awful, when you submit a query they just close it out as resolved without having done anything. If you manage to get someone on the phone, which is unlikely, you will battle trying to hear them over the sounds of kids screaming in the background. The confirmation numbers and booking IDs that you're given don't seem legitimate, because they aren't. Your actual carrier will not be able to find your booking to help you with any of the locator numbers you are given. Go direct to your airline to purchase tickets.

ChatDeal left me stranded

I bought round trip tickets to Europe through ChatDeal & they took my credit card, sent me my itinerary & then failed to book my flights. My flights to Europe went well but when I arrived at the departing airport (thankfully earlier than necessary) to fly back to the states, the flight agent informed me that I was not on the passenger manifest & that ChatDeal neglected to book me on the flight. I missed all connecting flights & ChatDeal continues to not take responsibility. A ticket bought through a 3rd party can only be changed/rebooked by the 3rd party ticketing agent but ChatDeal agents (knowing this disclaimer) told tell me to deal with the airlines directly. American & Iberia Supervisors walked me through the 3rd party ticketing agent rules & so I went back to the responsible agent - ChatDeal. Finally several ChatDeal agents told me & emailed me that they were rebooking my flights but after 15 hours of trying to get home I was no further along. They also told me (& emailed me) that they were refunding my money but that has yet to happen either. I'm posting this complaint on every website in hopes of preventing this terribly handled situation from happening to anyone else. Thankfully I was travelling alone, but even that could have gone terribly wrong with the exhaustion that accompanied this ordeal.

Everything is good until you have a problem that needs to be solved

This is my first and last time using Chatdeal/Kayak, I purchased a return flight with them and on my way to my destination I missed my connection flight (airline's fault) and got put on another flight one day later. It was a family trip to see my family which I haven't seen in 4 years. I contacted both Kayak and Chatdeal asking if it would be possible for me to change my return flight to one or two days later just so I could make up for the day I've missed with my family. It is extremely hard to find a customer service phone number to reach out to them, I found an email address that never got back to me and eventually, after spending a quite fair amount of money trying a random phone numbers I've found online that led to nowhere (mind you I was overseas at the time) I finally got ahold of a representative via the live chat on chatdeal's website. The representative - Jenny - told me someone would be in touch shortly with an update about my request. My initial request was made one week before my return flight's date. Three days later I go back to the live chat to speak with a different representative about any updates, advised them it was a time sensitive request since my return flight was going to be one week later and the person told me someone would contact me via email within 12-24 hours. No one contacted me, so I tried the live chat a third time only to be told the same thing (someone will be in touch). My return flight date came and I'm back at my place of residence now, my request was never followed up and I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service this company has. I will never book anything through chatdeal again!

Bad irresponsible customer service

I booked my tickets to India in Feb 2022 to fly in July. The airlines canceled one leg of the return flight which I was NOT notified about by email or phone. I had to find out during my check in during my flight to India. I called agents number 3 times and got 3 different responses 1) they are already working on it dont worry. 2) call airlines directly and rebook (which singaporeairlines rejected since they can't make changes to reservationsand only agent can) 3) since i checked in they can't make changes. So they will take care of my return ticket once i complete my forward journey. I left with some worry, but since I had 3 weeks I was confident something would be done. Since July 11th until my return on August 4th I have been calling and chatting with them EVERY DAY to adjust schedule. Worst - since i was in India my calls were international calls (expensive). Each call would be 30 mins hold and will hear same thing. All through they said " We are working on it. Don't worry. Waiting for airlines to confirm". I called airlines and they said they haven't heard anything back from agent and asked the sales department to call them. Chat would lead to customer service whose responsibility is merely to send email to schedule change department. Every time i chat, they send cookie cutter responses which at some point i almost memorized all types of responses. They called me on day before I am supposed to return to US and said sorry. The airlines have no availability and they can either reschedule it 10 days later or get partial refund. Finally i had to call singapore airlines directly (again international calls costing me $300) who informed me that my singapore to Seattle flight is completely missing from my reservation. After begging with them, they helped me get on flight from Chennai to Seattle. But my connection from Seattle to SFO was by Alaskan airlines and was still not confirmed. I had to reach Seattle and work with airlines to book my flight with 11 hours layover. Apparently the agents double booked the flight which canceled reservation. Basically agents didn't move a needle - but rather screwed up my journey further. They spoiled my entire vacation as I was worried if I can return back or not. So would chat with them all though night and spend on long calls. Thankfully the airlines people rescued me. But not without cost. I will be contacting an attorney to file a lawsuit. I have captured all chat messages and emails. Attached some with this review. If you are planning to travel avoid Kayak or chatdeal by all means please. The savings is not worth the torture they put you through
