BAN MY CLINIC BECAUSE WE HELP RESCUES

Mark Van Buskirk had banned my Non for-Profit clinic/ Shelter because we are getting a lot of business for rescues and other clients that were looking for a flea/tick product that they can afford, My sales has always been over 50k a mth ( for over 7YRS) which ceva made agreement on it which i have emails. Mr. Van Biskirk stated he has my Clinic tracked all over Amazon but still can't give any proof behind it so now I'm ban and losing so much business and these strays that I have been helping will now be alone without any protection until i can find a replacement and funds since im out over 25k$. ON TOP OF THAT CEVA SPONORED US

Received email asking for my feedback

We needed a Safety Data Sheet for one of their products so we would have it onsite in case anyone needed to refer to it.

Has anyone else experienced this?

one week after the first application of Catego treatment, my perfectly healthy cat, who just had his full yearly physical, experienced a grand mal seizure. We immediately stopped using the product, and now he is having seizures on a regular basis, which has now resulted in our having to give him phenobarbital 2x daily.

Killed my Cat

Used Vectra for Cats 9 pound and over on my cat, he started crying, went and hid, took him to the vet, on a Sunday Night, and he died there. Ceva doesn't return calls, so only thing left is a lawsuit, they don't give a *** about your animal, just lining their pockets.

Awful!

Updated by user Sep 21, 2019
Dogs still dealing with diarrhea eating chicken and rice only with flagyl medicine. I hate this medicine.

Monetary loss 300.00 plus. You may be hearing from our lawyer! No dog and owner should be suffering like this. Your product should be off the market!

Only after much research did I find "not recommended for Shih Tzu" It should be on the label! if its toxic for people and cats what do you think it would do for dogs????

Update: 9/14/19 dogs still having soft stool and eating chicken and rice AND on their 3rd anti diarrhea medicine!!!!

Original review Aug 28, 2019
I rate this deplorable product as a zero!!! I don't know why i switched to Vectra3d because Frontline Gold worked well but there's always something new. Within 3 hours one of my shih tzu vomited twice and then started with the diarhrea. My other shih tzu vomited that night and had diarrhea as well. She was restless as well. They've been to the vet and were put on medication. My youngest still has very soft drippy stools. Its been a week. They were given bathes to get any on their skin off but I think even a few hours was too late, its already in their system. I keep them extremely short haired anyway. The vomiting stopped but the icky gross stools continue. i just called my vet and an awaiting a call back. They have been on a steady diet of chicken and rice since this all started and Fortiflora. Im pissed at myself and the amount of pesticide making them sick. After they get better back to Frontline Gold. We do treat the house with Vets Best and the yard. Dont use this product. Usually I research everything first but after researching afterwards..hindsight 20/20 I will never recommend this product to anyone. I did contact the company to inform them but there is zero they can do. I've heard of a few instances where dogs have died. Lets hope and pray that does not happen!!! No product is perfect. Treat your house and yard with pet safe products not just your pet. I FO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Vectra 3D killed my dog

Saturday 7/13/19 I used vectra 3D on my healthy active 13 year old dog. All day Sunday couldn't walk, diarrhea, and vomiting. Spent Monday 7/15/19 at the vet. She didn't make it. Please don't use this product on your dog.

Vectra caused puppy to have seizure

After applying vectra 3d, my 17 week old puppy developed an severe increase in energy, followed by vomitting, increased body temperature, and muscle twitching. 20 minutes later he suffered from a grand Mal seizure which he aspirated during and now has aspiration pnemonia. Lactic acidosis also developed from lack of oxygen during the seizure. I spend 2,000 for emergency medical treatment. Luckily he is still alive

Feliway diffuser made me sick

I would not recommend the Feliway diffuser for cats. Within 0 minutes if it being plugged in it over released a flowery smelling fume and immediately made me sick as a human--called their number and spoke to human poison control. They advised to double bag and dispose at a toxic waste dump saying I had a defective diffuser. I called Feliway today as I was told to let them know I got very ill and had a severe headache until yesterday afternoon. I spoke to Nikki a support tech and asked to speak to someone above her. Because our conversation was getting nowhere. After 40 minutes on hold and getting cut off a Dr. Samuel Ivens returned my call. He was rude, acted like he did not believe me and demanded a receipt when I asked for a refund. When I said I was mad at how this was playing out after getting sick on their product he mocked me saying "mad, mad mad--you're mad I'm mad..." Does anyone have the CEO of Ceva's Business Solutions that is the umbrella company? His name is Mark Van Buskirk--I find the only way to get anything done is to go to the top--thanks! Avoid using!

Vectra 3D is slowly killing my best friend

I used Vectra 3D for my 5 pound Yorkie I didn't even use the whole vial I actually split the vile up with my dog and my mom's dog as soon as I put this poison on my sweet little Abigail she had seizures convulsed couldn't hear lost her eyesight and now her kidneys are failing not to mention dementia she has never been the same for 3 years now I have done everything I could possibly do to make her better she was just fine before I gave her that poison I am going to start a GoFundMe account for all legal aid for pet owners who have had the same experience with this horrible product shame on you Vectra for putting poison out there and killing what we think and consider to be our family members daughter's son's I will make it a mission to find the best attorney to make sure your company is shut down any proceeds I would love to give to animal organizations and groups that need help I plan on hiring a marketing company so we can get the word out to everyone that all you'd give animals is poison and you don't care about anything or anyone as long as you're making money I cannot wait until I have thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people filing a lawsuit against your company I will not rest until your company closes down and the only jobs your seos will ever get is working behind the counter for minimum wage

Vectra 3D killed my dogs after 1st use

My two dogs died after having a reaction from using Vectra 3D this was the only med. or product that was used on both of them. Ya ya was 9 yr. pit., Louis was 5 yr. pit. they were our boys.My vet said they had an auto immune their body was rejecting their red cells even after many anti reject drugs and each 5 transfusions. U.W. vet visit and Emergency vet care both very expensive for no help.I was suppose to have a consultation with Dr. Mia Bahn.,At emercancy vet care, after over night stay the next day at 5pm she met with me and I was told she didn't have time that day to look in on Louis. VERY DISSAPOINTED very bad med center. His was life threatening he was put down a short time latter the transfusions were only lasting 3 days. Yay went a month earlier. Ceva the maker of Vectra3D sent paperwork to have noterized for legality against action the offered 500$ for both of my boys. Oregon vet care is the right people to care for you animals. They really do care about them and you as a person not just a paycheck. Thanks to them for all they did for Ya ya and Louis

Fraudulent claims

Ceva Animal Health makes fraudulent drug claims to mislead the customers- Phytosphingosine is not drug and was responsible for the death pet owner. Company fraudulently claims this and a preservative called Climbazole as drugs, these products are no use. The manufacturer of Phytosphingosine states that it is not a drug and should not be treated as a drug, but Ceva lists and advertises this as a drug. The Feliway line of products do not work and as good as water. Vectra is very dangerous to dogs, cats and the pet owner because of its toxicity and leaves and contaminates the house and surroundings, stay away

Bad experience with Vectra

Shortly after applying Vectra 3D to my 37 lb. mixed breed dog, he starting acting very strange, kept whipping his head around to look at his back and shaking like he would if he were wet. Overnight his discomfort became worse, walking with his head low, and not wanting to move, even had to persuade him to eat, and that is really out of the ordinary. After 3 washings with Dawn dish soap, and lots of conditioner he felt quite a bit better, but it took a couple of days for him to seem normal. This product is extremely irritating to some dogs, because of my experience, I would not recommend it.

Ceva Animal Health - Vectra 3d Flea Control Review

I first used a 21-55lb tube of Vectra 3D on my 11 yr old pug (he weighs 25lbs) and days 2-4 after application he was extremely itchy rubbing on things and rolling a lot. I used advantage 2 on him for the next several months through the winter with no issues but ran out of tubes- I went and got a smaller tube from my vet- for up to 20lbs- thinking he is not much over that and thinking maybe using less would not make him itchy like last time. This time day 2 he started panting and was restless and couldn't sleep -then on day 3 I noticed when he got excited after we got home his body was shaped into a C with his hind end bent over to one side- he couldn't seem to straighten out and I picked him up - his side seemed really tight- so I massaged it and put him back down he now seemed Ok and could walk straight again. Then that night he couldn't sleep was panting constantly and kept getting up to drink water... I bathed him a midnight with a dog shampoo. That morning when he was excited for breakfast he had the C shape again with his hind end twisted extremely to one side- I again picked him up and massaged him until he could straighten out... Now I decided to bathe him again with degreasing dish soap. He seemed better now with less panting- but when we got home that afternoon - again he was twisted and almost falling over- once I got him calmed down and rubbed his sides he could straighten out.... I googled his reaction to Vectra 3d and found some similar stories- saw a greyhound on YouTube with the same sideways hind end - she said it was worse when he was excited - and took a week to go away. I called my vet to tell him all this- they said they had never heard of this- I told him it might not be really common- but he was not the only one... I told him if it continues for longer than a week I will take him in.... Today is day 4 - and I am crossing fingers he goes back to normal and I will never use this again on him- I feel badly I tried it again after it obviously made him uncomfortable the first time....

Vectra 3D is poison! Do not apply to your dog.

This is the worst product I have ever encountered. I applied the product to my 7 1/2 pound poodle mix yesterday afternoon and almost immediately he began to pant, dig into the couch & roll around like he was trying to remove his skin! He was very hyper and kept me awake all night because he was scratching and making himself into a pretzel trying attack the places on his back that seemed to be the most annoying. I bathed him, hoping that would remove some of the residue and calm him. It did not, so I gave him 1/2 a Benedryl to counter the reaction. Again, no calming was evident, so I took him to the vet for a check and to return the balance of the product. They recommended I bathe him with Dawn. What they told me is that the chemical is not absorbed, but sticks to the dog's fur like glue and that the Dawn should help remove that. They said an antiseptic or cortisone cream may help and to apply after he was dry from his bath. I ran to the pet store and got a good cortisone lotion. Finally, he is sleeping, but his anxiety and mine have been out of control for over 24 hours. Maybe he is just too small or his skin too sensitive, but I will certainly never recommend this product to anyone. Not only will I not recommend it, I will find every possible avenue to warn pet owners of the dangers of this pesticide for the pets we love as family. He is sleeping now, but it is probably sheer exhaustion from running around, gnawing at his back and trying to attack those creatures that he felt crawling all over him. I am going back to oral flea and tick control. I would prefer not to use any meds, but in the south we are plagued with fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. Thank you for listening (reading) and if you love your little fur babies, don't use Vectra 3D.
