Question about system

I recently switched my phone to VoIP. Had questions about my system. The guy in the tech Dept was friendly and courteous, tested my system and made suggestions to get my system up and going, he then transferred me to a lady in sales who was also great and set me up with what I need to be secure and made the necessary appointment. No usen este Sistema de Seguridad

Para los que hablan spanish no se involucren con esta compania usan un sistema pesimo si necesitas un tecnico te cobran extra, no funciona y si te mueves no te transfieren el sistema y tienes que pagar los 3 anos del contrato como $. 2,000.00. o hacer otro contrato por 3 anos. ridiculo. Con el gancho de que algun amigo te recomendo y te hacer un descuento o viseversa, nos utilizan a nosotros los Latinos.

Canceling service

No reponse

Recently we contacted Central Security regarding an alarm system we are still paying for in a house we sold over a year ago. I talked to Dustin. He said that I can pay it off for 204.90. I asked him to email our contract and instructions for payment. That has been over a week ago, and no word or email from you guys. Inoperable system

Several months ago my system started beeping loudly all the time and the read out on the control box said it was offline. I called and asked how to get it to stop beeping and get it back on line. Your tech told me that the batteries must be dead and that I needed to change them. I had no idea that my system ran on batteries! I have yet to be able to find anyplace on the control box where batteries could be changed. I have been paying for a system since April until now that is broken. Could I please get somebody to come out and see what is wrong with my system? If not, could I please be released from my contract so I could go to a different company? Wow! What a terrible experience!

After 10 years with this company, I asked for them to upgrade their faulty and outdated equipment. They did so and proceeded to increase their monthly bill to $40 from $24. We subsequently moved. I called them on 6/12/17 to cancel. The man I talked with told me to leave the equipment for the next house owner and he'd take care of the contract. I thought that this was the end. Oh-NO! They continued to bill me and now are hounding me to pay them over $900 for cancelling the "contract". I asked for a copy of the contract. It was dated 12/7/2007 (almost 10 years ago). The print on the back is so small, I can't read it! They have threatened to ruin my 820 FICO score and will have bill collectors hound me. I have twice offered to compromise just to get them to move on. But no.....this greedy company wants every bit of your skin! I'm done with them! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

SCAM! They will bill you FOREVER!

I requested that my service be terminated June 2015 (we had filled our contract obligation) due to the sale of our house. I was not told to submit a letter so I thought that the call was sufficient. I have proof of the sale of my old home and purchase of new as of June 2015. Fast forward to September 2017 - I noticed an ACH debit from Central Security Group and upon research, find that they have been debiting my bank account every month. Yes, my accounting skills are severely lacking. I called and again requested cancellation. I was told that it needed to be in writing. I sent an email and received a confirmation of receipt. I am now getting a paper bill for October 2017 plus late fees because I changed banks. I was just told that they will bill one more month after cancellation letter is received. It is UNBELIEVABLE!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Our company underwent CEO's. Dealing with Central Security Group was a nightmare in getting old personnel removed and new personnel on the account. Spent a month trying to just get access to this account in order to cancel, and was actually charged an additional month just because the company was taking its time having me do ten different things every different day to gain access to this account. While speaking to representatives on the phone one guy would have all the documentation needed to proceed with cancellation and change of administrator, then the next person I get transferred to has no documents. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Central Security Group Falsly Extend our Contract

We purchased a security system in July 2015, and signed a two year contract with Central Security Group. We moved and tried to cancel in December of 2017. First we were told we needed to pay 1XX.xx to buyout the contract over the phone. The letter we received from them said $337 to buyout the contract. I then found the contract paperwork, and realized we had already fulfilled the contract. I called again, but no one was available. They said they would call back when a representative was available. Nope. Never received a call back. Called back again and was told that I needed to send them an email requesting cancellation and they would waive the cancellation fee. Fast forward four days and crickets. No cancellation letter, nada. I'm considering cancelling the credit card.

Was lied to fro. The beginning!

This guy came to my door he offered me CSG security at the same price as I was paying for ADT and would give me the great cams up to 4 of them for free, all I had to do is display a med-large bright yellow sign in my yard visable from the street advertising these cams for Central Security Group. I had been looking at cams to buy and put in myself. I told the guy I would need some time to read the contract. He says don't worry I'll explain everything to you as we go through it. I trusted this nice religious family man. And he was in my home. Realized through the next 6 months that those cams really weren't catching alot. Then I replaced my router with the same product just newer. Couldn't get my cams to link with the app to work. Called CSG and was informed that my cams we're under contract with them and they didn't know nothing about a big yellow sign for my yard. Also was told that the company they had hired is no longer with them. They started bouncing me around to different people. Sent out a guy that had the same problem cam wouldn't connect. Added different app that I already tried and said well this one works... I said I dont use that one cause of the night cam doesnt work. Which I already stated that to CSG several times. He said well I told them what was going on and they should replace them. Never herd back from CSG so I called and they said in their reports everything was working. I said not true he put the app on the the night cams don't work. Still almost two months now I don't have night cams or proper working cams. Cams Still doesn't catch most of the action and only records for about 8 seconds. I explained this to them and they decided that I had to pay more a month to stay in my contract to get new cams or start another 5 years contract with them at the same price. SMH these people are dishonest and hired afraudulent company to sell there product. I never wanted to change security companies.... I was doing great with ADT. Now I'm stuck with a security company that I don't trust. The lady at CSG that's been "trying to help me" as she states is going to talk to the people again who decide. She says "I thought I was helping you Christine" I said " how is that Charlie your company wants me to pay for your companies mistakes. I didn't hire the alarm guys to lie and cheat your customers". So now I will get a call back tomorrow ..... I told Charlie that all I wanted was them to put the new cams in and I keep going and finish what I have left of my less then four years of contract. Or let me out of the entire contract free and clear of any charges.

Central Security Group won't cancel my alarm service

I fulfilled my home alarm contract in April, 2016. Without contacting me, they extended my contract I do not want and have had no service for a year. I contacted them by phone to cancel, and they asked me to email them. They acknowledged receiving my email and then kept deducting monthly fees. When I emailed again in January and called about it again in January, they said they had can stopped my contract and had not taken a payment for January. My bank statement shows another deduction in January. I am considering contacting the Texas Attorney General regarding their duplicitous behavior. Phone calls to several people at CSG have produced no results. I want a refund of my November, December, and January payments.

Bad System and Poor Service

I have service with Central Security Group now for over 2 years. The battery has died twice. The technician resolution to the problem is sending someone out to service the system a week later; which is not reasonable. This will leave my home unsecured for a week. I also was never told that my contract was automatically auto renewal...until I tried to cancel my contract. This text is to inform all that read, a written notice is required before they will cancel the contract. This has truly been a lesson learned. This company will fold soon. The secondary name to this company is Smith. I am not sure why they have two names, maybe they had such bad ratings that they changed the name to generate new customers under a new name.

Don't even know what to say to this company

I was told my contract can be cancel anytime after 3 yrs as long i ask give a 30 day notice. I got call them central security tell me that i need to upgrade my equipment or it will stop working. In order to renew equipment, I am going to have to renewal for 3 yrs. I ask to cancel, i was told i am going to pay for automatic renewal for one year. This is so great of customer service. There is absolutely not acceptable business. I check BBB and they got A+ rating. This is amazing. They put me in situation where i can't get out. Renew 3 yrs or pay for one automatic renewal without getting service. I am going need to find a lawyer. Anyone can assist me?
