Excellent purchase

TERRIBLE EMPLOYEES

If you want to be treated like garbage and get ripped-off, then this is the place for you. Owner is incapable of being honest, once he gets your money he never wants to hear from you again, even is there is work outstanding or the work was performed incorrectly. He has no shame.

Rude employees, dumb owner, won't honor warranties. Owner claims that doing so is a waste of his time.

Got screamed at when I entered the store to have some maintenance performed on some equipment I had purchased. The manufacturer instructed me to return to where I had purchased the item and, since it was still under warranty) they would repair it. I got an earful from some old lady behind the counter, she couldn't believe that I had the unmitigated nerve to come there looking for service, I spoke with the owner over the phone and he explained that they don't honor warranties because it is aq waste of their time. He then hung up on me.

Horrible

Horrible experience, installers are the worst, have had nothing but problems and it is going on 3 years now. Once they have your money they want nothing to do with you. Installers they use are the worst, and nobody cares. Go somewhere else. The installation was a nightmare and they take no responsibility for there work. Central Jersey wants nothing to do with you once you pay for your pool, noboby wants to help you solve the issues. The worst customer service ever and this is a huge safety issue you would think they would care. Now I have to hire someone to fix my pool and pay out of my pocket after I spent over $10,000 dollars.

We’ve been customers for several years now.

We’ve always found them to be trustworthy. We have weekly maintenance & they’re cleaning every week whether we’re home or away. I can count on them to communicate any issues they’ve noticed and to also address promptly any issues I find. We had 3 different pool companies over a period of 2 years prior to our finding Central Jersey Pools & are so grateful we found them!

Abismal Cursomer Service and Failure to Honor Warrantrly Repair or Respond

Dreadful customer service. The owner Steven Metz of Central Jersey Pools in Freehold is arrogant, condescending and patronizing. I will never do business with this company again. I purchased a $10,000 Spa in May of 2015. They were quick to take my money and now in this extreme cold it has begun leaking and you cant get anyone to return your calls and they provide a litany of excuses why they cant help you. Buyers Beware if you are in the market to buy an expensive Spa do it someplace else. The attitude of the company is that they are doing you a favor by speaking with you. They don't understand that they need to take care of and treat their customers with respect. I finally had to write a letter to the Manufacturer of the Spa and request the support of another Dealer.

Poor service and nasty management.

Brought a robot from them was broken. Went back to exchange it in the time. That allowed and had nothing but a problem . Had a date for service to come to service my hot tub nobody showed up very nasty the owner and the manager. worst experience ever. Still waiting on someone to call back from service to service the hot tub. Horrible service

POOR CHOICE WITH CENTRAL JERSEY POOLS - THINK TWICE!!

We are happy to say that since our last meeting with Mr. Steven Metz from Central Jersey Pools, our pool construction is underway and has been progressing very smoothly.

Our slight hiccup in the beginning was a misunderstanding and we are glad we've decided to move forward with CJP. We are very satisfied thus far, and very excited for our pool to be completed!!!

Central Jersey Pool Company delayed the start of installation of our IG pool 3 weeks due to "rain" only to show up and start on a"rainy day" & then tried using obvious wet ground to extort additional money out of us. When we didn't agree to random number thrown at us (which was alot more than on our paperwork - "if necessary") Owner Steven Metz argued & double-talked blaming the rain on the delay until ultimately saying they just didn't have the man power as they were backed up and finishing other pools. After 30 minutes of trying to reason with him asking him to look at our paperwork he tells me he doesn't have it & can't pull it up on his computer screen. What kind of company is this?? All he kept saying was we either agree to the additional amount that was verbalized that day (not what our paperwork said) or he tells excavation team to stop work & leave the site. So they left &haven't returned since. This was over two weeks ago. It almost feels like they deliberately caused a conflict to A.) get more money from us or B.) delay us further. We understand the rain delays pool construction but since then no answers to emails and gave them a $5K deposit plus $1724 to the Engineer of their choice. I should have heeded the warnings but against my better judgement signed up with them anyway. Owner Steven Metz has no clue what he is talking about and clearly zero customer service skills for someone who claims to be in business for so many years. How does this company do business and not honor their own proposal? Very bad choice on our part. Now our front and back yard is a mess and we are completely discouraged to even get a pool. I have several colleagues who live in the same area and are interested in hearing about our pool experience as they are in the market for one as well. They will definitely be hearing about the terrible experience we've had with Central Jersey Pools as we still wait to hear back from them. Don't make the mistake we made - STAY AWAY

Poor customer service

they treated me very poorly after having spent several thousand dollars on a gas grill. they promised to send a service person down to convert the grill from propane to natural gas and then said they never do that.only on site; a blatant lie. i got a huge run around. the person with whom i finally spoke who said he was the owner was condescending and dismissive. poor experience and amateurish. i would strongly suggest shopping elsewhere where they treat you like an adult and they honor their words. very very disappointed and feel abused. and i paid a premium for what i thought would be excellent service. 2 thumbs down.

Treat loyal employees like ***

You really should be more professional when you own a business. If you have an employee who is realiabe, trustworthy & is a young kid trying to hold a job to earn money as a mature responsible person you really should appreciate & give them the same respect they gave to your business. Working all day morning to night everyday all weekend in the summer is something most young people have no desire to do. My daughter did this for CJP for a few years & when it came time now for her to start working again she was told she no longer had a job??? Yet they are advertising they are hiring?????? If there was a valid reason for you not hiring her back I would have appreciated telling her,if she did something wrong then be a man & tell her what it was not a coward who treats people like they are disposable after years of loyalty to you & your overpriced *** service business you own. When your young you learn from your mistakes if your are told what those mistakes are! Or are you just being an arrogant *** that runs he's business by the whim of his childish mood swing??? I can only hope when your children are older then don't have a boss like you who gets rid of them without notice or reason. I know for sure your business will not be around when your kids are old enough becuz karma is a *** & you suck as a Human being! I will no longer give you my business n will be sure to tell all of my friends in the area what kind of a person you are! You deserve all the bad coming your way what comes around goes around Steven & Michael. Have a nice #%*^*#? Day!
