Central Coast Nutra misrepresented their Free Trial and I got billed $59.95

Free trial is only 10 days not indicated on Website. Only the packing slip I threw away in very very fine print says to return all product in 10 days (at my expense again)...and the product is only a laxative... I could have bought prunes....I called and cancelled membership with Jason but he said nothing about the return...sneaky guy... I called Kelly and she basically said too bad if I did not "see" the return policy. They even offered the product to me for $39.95 but billed for $59.95...what a scam...I will consult websites like this before I buy...

They are trying to steal more money from me

I used their risk free trial of Central Coast Neutraceuticals Colopure product. I ordered the product on 09/09/2009. I received the pills and on the 09/19/2009 I called the company and told them I did not want any more of their pills which are a harsh herbal laxative. The pills cause me to have severe diahrea and to develop a medical problem called dumping syndrome. I called them again on January 14, 2010 to try to cancel this whole mess. I continue to receive threatening calls and emails from them. They tried on several occasions to hit my credit card for pills I did not want and now they have turned my account over to a third party collection agency. I am turning my complaint over to the Federal Trade Commission and The State Attorney General's office in the state of Missouri.I would suggest that all of you other victims of this company do the same so there are enough complaints to get the Feds to come down on these people. It probably wouldn't hurt for us to send a letter to the California Attorney General's office either.

Read B4 you Buy. Central coast nutra

I used to work for them. Here are some Nice secrets... DONT YELL! we will *** you off on purpose if you yell at us. Stay calm. we dont get payed enough to be bitched at. Use the word. DISPUTE! this is a roll over term or used to be. they will give you a refund. they have a restocking fee... this can be waved only if your nice though. Otherwise we will tell you know. cause we dont have to weather you say dispute or not. ALWAYS get a tracking number if you send something back to prove it got to them. They must have some mentally challenge monkeys in the recieving department. It Takes them MONTHS to find your order cause so many people send it back. Just remember you can knock this company down all you want. but its a business. I am no longer with this company and just figured maybe this would help some of my friends that still work there. Just remember these are people. Like you, and you know you wouldnt yell like some of you do to them/us in public for something that isnt our fault. those people answering the phones. DID NOT sell you anything. we have no control on sales. Just returns. So please for the sake of all. Call down. Say Dispute over the phone. cause if they get to many disputes the card companys wont let them use that card. they dont lose disputes btw. so if you think you will win you wont. its just they roll over so they dont get kicked off the list with creditors for being annoying. They have been investigated by the BBB twice and nothing was wrong. So just read carefully and dont ever trust the internet. Good luck to you all i hope you all recieve a refund.

CHEATED ME FOR $200.00

CENTRAL COAST NUTRACEUTICALS (CCN)scammed me with a free trial. I should have read the hype better. I have tried to cancel but I do not know if it worked. I did find out that MASTER CARD will continue to charge me even if I cancel my card. They say that they have to honor their contract with CCN and will let them continue to charge me and they (MC) will collect regardless. Is this 2 crooks hooked up to steal from us that *** not afford 100 lawyers? How can a large co. such as MASTER CARD stoop this low.

Scams you out of money fast

Free trail- Then before your ten days is up they bill just under 100.00 to keep it a crime. i never got anything from them but paid a total of 88.91 first time, second withdraw was for 50.00. of course, not knowing of the charges till after bank called for a couple of bounced checks. Bank is checking on other withdrawels also. They work dfast taking money as quick as they can. stay away from all free trial offers. they also called and got me to answer some questions with yes or no answers, that they use to play to banks when you report them.

Avela

Avela did not work for me. I received a mailing from Central Coast Nutraceuticals regarding facts and reviews about a male product with a 100 percent money back guarantee. I ordered two bottles and tried it for 45 days. I sent it back per the 60 day money back guarantee to return any un used product for a full refund. A supervisor named Heather would not refund because she said it was open. I had to open it to try it. I sent back half of one bottle and I ordered two. That was the un used amount. This company company does not stand behind their guarantee.

Acai-Pure Beware Read the Conditions

Read the terms and conditions. They will charge you $59.95 for the "free trial" and then continue to charge you each month for as long as they can. The product is available at retail locations where you know what you are getting and can deal with real people and not just rip off internet fraud dealers. I advise not to buy anything from companies you have no experience or knowledge of. This whole free offer way of doing business is deception since they never allow one time to evaluate effectiveness before having to cancel. Most of these companies are going to bill you even if you cancel. They are betting you will give up before getting refunds.

ACAIpure is a scam

I also order acai pure. It was supposed to be a FREE trial. I just received the product today and have been charged $72. I don't even know what for. When I called to cancel. They said I have to maid my trial bottle back to them within 14 days or I would be charged $39.95. Where does the $72 dollars come in IDK. They did call me and ask me to confirm my order of ACAIpure and when they called told me about other products that I very clearly said I do not want anything that I would have to pay additional costs for. When I called the number that is on my bank statement it said the office was closed. I have read that the only way to avoid further charges was to cancel your bank or credit card. This is ridiculous. I hope this company ends up with a major law suit. I am going to try to call again tomorrow and threaten to sue them wish me luck.

Another Unauthorized Charge

I too was charged $39.95 for a supposed "free trial." I received a phone call from an e-mail inquiry I did about the Acai Pure and was told (after verifying it with the woman twice) that I would not see another charge other than the $4.95 that I authorized. Well, low and behold $39.95 appeared on my VISA this morning. I phoned and after informing the young man that unauthorized charges to a credit card violate federal law, I was hung up on. I am definitely going to file a complaint with the FTC right away.

AcaiPure/ central coast nutraceuticals inc.

I tried to cancel my order with AcaiPure but no anser on phone lines, so used the www.getorderhelp.com, but still no cancelation number or confirmation of receipt of my email to cancel. I only ordered the trial, have had for a few days. Dont want the product, does nothing, and do not want to be charged anything more that the $4.95 for trial. Anyone know of a way to get thru to this company to get the orders cancelled permanently? I will have to close my debit/credit card otherwise. Have heard horror stories about this company. They need to be put out of business. Sincerely Sheryl Werner-Jones 3172 Hidden Ridge Terrace Abingdon, Md 21009 order#321**** sheryl72165@***.com

I signed up for a $1.00 + $4.95SH with Celebrity Smile. I never received the product & CHG. $44.90

Responding to an Ad from Celebrity Smile Trail Offer to receive a product from them for $1.00 plus $4.95 SH . This was in November. I received my December CC bill and was charged $44.90 . I disputed the call because I never received the product and was unable to exercise the 14 Day Risk Free Offer as advertised by Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. This is really a scam and people should be made aware of this rip off. They stated that I gave them the wrong address and the product was shipped. Buyer Beware I am Pissed off

They charged me 2 times after i cancelled.

cnnnutra is a ripoff, i called them after i cancelled, they said a free trial is not free it is 39.95, but they did discount me 15.00 they said. i came home and the next day there was another charge for 39.95. I ordered on sunday, cancelled minutes later they said they would only charge me 2.95 or 4.95 whatever the ad said. the pills came a week or 10 days later.A week later the charge of 39.95 was pending on my online account and now my banksays i have to call them to ask why they charged me twice. The first time i called them it didnt help, what do you think calling them twice will do. I AM PISSED OFF & IM NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE.

ALLEDGED THIEFS TOOK MONEY & NO PRODUCT

I had called customer service at Central Coast Nutraceuticals a number of times but to no avail after purchasing an herbal product for approximately $200 from a (newsletter/brochure) mail solicitation. On Dec. 9, 2008 I had followed up with a call...I spoke to an intake order representative who identified herself as Shana. Shana told me that there was a 2-4 weeks hold up on this product because the company had sent out over a million newsletters & demand of the product exceeded supply. I had asked Shana regarding the status of the order but she replied that she could not locate the order because she is employed only to take purchase orders over the phone. I asked how can I find out about the order, she replied "call customer service"...I had told her I could not get through as I had already called a number of times. Shana continued to tell me that the customer service department was "under-staffed", and that she understands that there is "an extensive wait on the customer service line". When I asked where is the physical location of the company, Shana said that she does not know. The only contact address is a PO Box #2596 in Chestertown, MD 21620-****. I asked if the company is located in Maryland, Shana replied that "she did not know" and that she believes the product is not sent out of Maryland. I asked Shana how she was employed and to what address did she go to get a job...she replied that there is "no actual address for this company, but she works out of Maine." Shana proceeded to tell me that Nutraceuticals employed a staff of 200 who take orders and send out over a 1,000,000 brochures over a short period of time with order intake of 4,000 purchases per day. The company is inundated with work, and hence, the back orders. Employees work for multi companies (three manufac't/distributers) and are there to only process orders for what she states are "all natural products." I had refused to give Shana my name although she had repeatedly asked me. She also stated that if I paid by check there is nothing the company can do to remedy the problem because they could not trace a check. Again, Shana was determined to know whether I paid by check or charge. Again, I refused to tell her. I did tell Shana that I thought the company is allegedly a hoax & that the FBI should investigate the company. This company is allegedly defrauding people of their hard earned money & apparently- after reading so many complaints- they are managing to get away with it. I recommend someone should begin filing a class action lawsuit... I'll be more than happy to join. Scamers
