Microsoft 365

I purchased Microsoft 365 for 5 devices. I can not sign in on another device and I have left 3 messages in 3 weeks with CDW with no response.

Their shipping is terrible.

Ordered an item and put the apartment number in for shipping. They sent me an email to confirm that everything was correct, apartment number was included. They shipped the item and UPS sends me an email stating my package was set to arrive tomorrow... but there was no apartment number listed for shipment. So now the package is just going to the building as a whole. I sent them an email asking them to correct it. No response, so I called UPS myself. They advised that indeed no apartment number was given, so I corrected it with them. CDW then sent me an email back stating "ship address has apt #". Yeah... you guys suck.

They contacted my customer directly to undermind my account for themselves

I placed an order with CDW through Evan Emery their sales person for a Blind Drop Shipment to my customer. He then turned around and contacted my client directly telling them they could buy it cheaper directly through CDW.

Do not buy here

I paid for a license through Dell and they won't provide the key. they ripped our company off for $200.00

CDW - PEOPLE WHO DON'T GET IT!

I tried purchasing a piece of software from their website, got the purchase confirmation email, no download link provided. I emailed them, no response. Called them up, the rep said the order was canceled, I kindly asked to resolve the issue got transferred another rep who arrogantly responded with the word 'Yes?". He said, "Our website is not smart enough to discern how many licenses customer is buying, we are not Amazon". I said, this is 2019 my friends, he goes, "We make 70 billion in sales my friend, people call us on the phone to order software". I said cancel my order, I don't want anything to do with your company. I say, THEY DON'T GET IT if they treat customers like that in 2019. CDW - PEOPLE WHO DON'T GET IT!

8/2/19 - I never heard from CDW. I also submitted a complaint on BBB. They responded saying that you can only get refunds within the first year of the product and offered no further solution on why the licensing we purchased with a 3 Year term stopped working after 1...

On 11/28/2017 we ordered licensing for a 3 year product. After a little over a year (Approx January 2019) the licensing stopped working. I have been asking for a refund or a fix to our problem since March 2019. They have continued to procrastinate the issue and have resulted to just flat out ignoring it. Not only has this cost us $3,942.72 we are losing money and productivity by not having access to these licenses, and further we have to pay other IT people to try and resolve this issue. It is an embarrassment how horribly they have handled this situation. Never do business with this company, unless you want to waste a god awful amount of time speaking to their useless team.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS

PURCHASED 2 PRINTERS, SEPARATELY. RETURNED THE FIRST, TERRIBLE SALESMAN, WORST TECH ASSISTANCE, EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. SECOND PRINTER PURCHASED FROM TOM WHITELOCK, A MORE EXPERIENCED, OLDER SALESMAN, BETTER AT SCAMMING THE CUSTOMER THAN YOUNGER SALESMEN. WHEN I PURCHASED THIS PRINTER WAS CHARGED THE FULL PRICE, THOUGHT IT WAS BRAND NEW AS IT TURNED OUT IT WAS USED, REQUIRED REPLACEMENT OF VARIOUS PARTS. THAT IS WHEN I BECAME SUSPICIOUS. THIS TOM WHITELOCK IS A TYPICAL SLEAZY, SCUMMY SALESMAN. AFTER MUCH BACK AND FORTH I DID OBTAIN A FULL REFUND. THIS BUSINESS LEAVES MUCH TO BE DESIRED. BEWARE OF SALESPEOPLE, THEY HAVE AN AGENDA, WILL TRY TO SELL YOU ANYTHING, EVEN THEIR MOTHERS.

They never shipped the hardware and I am unable to get a refund. They STOLE our money.

The issue has been taken care of, as the money is back in our account. They are super bad at client relations, and communications, and I still hold by my one star review, and am amazed at the level of disconnect there. We have taken our business elsewhere, and will never do anything with them again.

Placed an order 11/23/2018 CDW Order Confirmation: Order #1BWZRHZ/P.O. Ref. Invoice: 0021854 and paid for it. No updates after a week. No updates after 2 weeks. Launch a help ticket with them.... and I've been pushed off on 3 different people and nobody will refund the money. They have not shipped the product and they won't reply to refund requests. CDW has stolen our money, plain and simple. I am going to file criminal charges against them, now.

CDW is a nightmare. Takes months to get your order

I have made 2 purchases with CDW over the years and both times it has been a nightmare. It takes weeks, I repeat, weeks, to get your order. The problem is that every web order must be approved by an account manager. If a account manager doesn't get to your order, it will just sit there for weeks in a holding queue. No emails or no type of notifications are sent to you. I purchase a printer from them for business needs. I'm in a time crunch. Order placed on nov 2nd, it's now the 15th and the order still hasn't shipped yet. Call them. The reason why they are holding? They don't ship to a UPS box. Ridiculous. I will never purchase from CDW for the rest of my life. I will tell all my friends and business aquaintances to avoid this company as if their life depended on it. Back in July, we also purchased MacBooks, keyboards, docking stations, etc for work. It took 1 month for the MacBooks to arrive. The docking stations arrived in October.

Run around for right dept then wait 20mins customer service to drop out

5:18 48 seconds pm Tuesday NE time this was going to be my question. don't try their email merry go round either. that's why i typed it up ( A TOUCH TOO LONG ) to put in a complaint. maybe a miracle might happen and CDW might read it. if they don't automate it HP Mfg.Part: T4906AAE | CDW Part: 213**** $112.99 Advertised Price . I am a 70 year young private citizen. And I am trying to find the final buy to my door price . which includes tax if any. And most importantly shipping costs and who you use. I am checking prices because like everyone I want a good product for a reasonably good price from a reputable business . you would know there are a few good companies like yourself selling the same item but you’re not the best price so far and I don’t need to tell you who they are.. Will you answer me ? time will tell.

Refund

4 months and no product received. I have had several calls , emails and no response. I get sent to a rep who is completely helpless. Purchasing from this company is the same as throwing your money away.

CDW Customer Service

I ordered a laptop and it showed up without a hard drive. I sent pics of the laptop within 30mintues of receiving the laptop to my rep and he is no help all at. All I got from him was: Email: We cannot return the laptop. It shipped with a hard drive and the BTO burn process could not happen without a drive. Email: Toshiba informed me that they shipped the laptop with a hard drive in it. He is not even personable! So basically, I spent $2,276.19 on a laptop with no hard drive. So today we tried to order a replacement hard drive and PAY for it and was told we can't!!!! CDW's customer service is so ridiculous!!!!

Website Horrible

I wanted to buy a simple USB cord, and I got so many security questions, I thought I was on a job interview for the FBI or CIA , and still wasn't able to buy the cord. Called the number, went around in circles, and couldn't buy the cord, because they are on Central time, and everybody went home , REALLY ????? USB cords are sold everwhere, and it's obvious by their treatment of customers, they DON'T CARE !!!!! Horrible is putting it Mildly , my stomache is getting sick , just thinking of EVER going back on their website !!! I'm trying to forget about it, very, VERY bad experience, Shame on THEM !!!!!

Still Waiting

Placed an order on July 5th for an item that ships today as item was in stock. I waited 2 weeks to follow up and was informed that my order was on backorder. I asked how that could be if the site clearly states "IN STOCK". The response I got was your Account Manager should have contacted you, I replied "What account manager? I just placed an order for a single item." Today is July 30th with no response other than contacting them myself to see where my alleged item is as I was informed it would be shipped on the 27th (more lies). The 27th has come and gone with no item shipped yet, after contacting customer service I was informed there was a question regarding the destination address. If there was an issue with any part of the order all of my contact information was available for them to utilize that information to resolve their issue which has become my issue now. CDW has clearly lost touch with it's customers as this was my first and last order through them.

Confirmed order then ghosted me

What is with this company? I ordered a touch screen monitor. Received a confirmation then never received the item. I called customer no service and was transferred to a person "who would help me" but refused to pick up the phone. My e-mails and tweets were ignored. The funny thing is that I ordered the exact same item from CDW the previous week and had it shipped to a business two hundred miles away (I'm provide point of sale solutions) with no problem. Try to have one delivered to my home then they won't, for reasons that CDW refuses to even discuss with me. So my small retail client was left without a touch screen for ten days because CDW refuses to provide the most basic level of customer service and support. On the plus side, I found another supplier where the same item was cheaper and they communicated in a polite and professional manner, including requiring additional verification from me before shipping. Which is fine.
