Never received a settlement check
Pursuant to settlement instructions, I filed my claim under option 2, listing more than $50,000.00 of actual foreign credit card transactions during the relevant claim period. I received a formal acknowledgment of my claim, with a claim number, and there it ended. Never heard a word of follow-up, let alone my share of the settlement. Most class members were to receive $25 just for stating they had incurred an undefined loss, with no documentation required. My situation is far more egregious, since I actually provided itemized documentation of real losses --- substantial losses, in fact! Was this a pure ripoff? Just a means for some unscrupulous organization to obtain thousands of credit card numbers? I don't know, but if the suit was in any way legitimate, it appears that only the plaintiff's attorneys made out like bandits. That seems to be the case in all the class action suits for which I have been a legitimate class member.

Back last year around April I received my two checks both for $18 totaling $36 from ccfsettlement.com Upon opening the envelope I noticed that the checks were damaged. I made contact with the administrator and was advised to send back the two checks back and that they will reissue both checks in about 3 weeks, that was over a year ago! I have called, emailed them and received nothing but lies, they stated in this last email that they sent the 2 checks on 12/14/2011 which I have yet to receive as of 06/01/2012. These people are not to be trusted as everything they claim is nothing but lies.
