Faulty product-struggling to send it back

Hi,I purchased a makita tool set from the Worksop store online.One of the batteries came damaged and is unusable and clearly was not tested as it dont even fit in the drill. I informed the store and was told I have to post the item back through Royal mail.Problem I have told them is that I cant do that as I work in those hours that the post office is open so I asked for them to arrange for it to be collected and was told no. Something need to be done as Im getting no help from them.They did offer me a partial refund of £10 saying thats what they sell the damaged battery for which online on cash converters is between £30-£40?so I couldnt get a replacement for that amount.Then they offered another battery that does not compare to the one I bought,pretty much fit for the bin Could you please advise on how to resolve this please. Kind regards Danny

Complaint

I bought an oculus quest from the Burnley branch for £300 for my sons birthday to get it open and it doesnt work, i then take it back to store with my receipt to be told i am not aloud a refund even though the man knew it was broken to have another oculus given to me an old version for the same price and told to leave the store

Mislead lie to

Told item was worth £120 on ebay(took £70 out on it) before I left the shop heard her saying to another colleague that they sell for £200 on ebay. Very misleading don't want to hear this especially when short on cash and could off taken 120 out on an item that should off been valued correctly...at £200

Owed money

Yes nobody has been in touch with wheni ring them at the tong shop bradford the manager is usually off are to busy to speak the young lad said ring head office but won't give me a number he said come i replied I cant as I'm going to have my leg amputated can you help I only want what is owed to me Tracy hammond

Wrong fully sold an item

Went to buy a a/x watch to be told it's all working and when I got home it wasn't ticking then I tap the watch and it's starts ticking again so i took to cash converters and they told me take to a jewelry shop and refuse to refund me

Breaching warranty for a bike bought within 6 days. (Warranty is for 12 months)

I bought a bike from cash converters Gateshead branch on last Sunday (30th October 2022) 6 days ago. When I was buying the bike, the employees at cash converters sold me the bike with 12 months warranty for any issues other than the tires and breaks (which they specifically mentioned). However, on Wednesday (after 3 days) the gears were not working when riding the bicycle (it was the 2nd day I used it). So when I contacted the store and informed them, they said they are closing at 5pm and asked me to come on this Saturday (today, 5th November 2022) and said will refund the money. However when I went to the store today as requested by them, they did various accusations to not claim the warranty or to repair or to refund. 1. They said if I had brought on the same day that it happened they would have done something, but now since its been 3 days, they cannot claim warranty or refund. But when I told them that I informed someone through the phone at the time of the incident, the particular employee advised me to bring on Saturday. (If I'm not mistaken, I called a person named Middleton). Then they said they cannot accept the bike because informing via a call is not valid, but you have to send them a mail. But no one informed this to me at this point when I called them. 2 They say that I have met with an accident or has the damaged the bike by accident, which is so pathetic and hilarious!!! when I asked for a specific mark of an accident they say something must have hit the gear. (most hilarious accusation Ive ever heard). And its just the last 2 gears are not working so how can it be an accident?? 3. The best part is finally they say they give warranty only for the of the bike frame which is stupid, extremely false and unprofessional. (They clearly mentioned 12 months warranty is for everything, except for break and tires as its wear and tear). When got rejected by the cash converters I went to show the bike to Ouseburn bike works and he stated that its not riders fault and the gear has not been setup properly. The specific person at ouseburn bike shop even agreed to call the cash converter people and explain the fault. But they rejected it Its been only 6 days that I have bought the bike. Kindly consider this provide me a response. The customer service at the above branch is very unsatisfactory. Also, the service is not reliable at all.

Item being sold due to and error made by Cash Converters Ealing !!!!

Ive been using Cash Converters Ealing for some time now. This time in particular I had 2 items in on separate dates ( My MacBook Air 13 and my IPad 5th Generation Practically Brand New) so one would think that I would receive separate notifications for for each item as they were 2 different accounts They would always send a 5 day countdown notification@ and subsequently a 24 hour notification via text that the account is going to be due for payment I never received a (5 day)notification regarding the expiration date of my iPad and they sold it.. Ive had an account with them for over 2 years, always called when I received the 5 day notification that the expiration day was near and extended the payments via bank transfer. The staff member (Sheldon) only gave one reference number, and one amount to be paid which I did, emailed the screenshot of the bank transfer, which he confirmed receiving by a follow-up email. When apparently the other item was due for payment the next day! Nothing was said regarding my other account !!

Bad customer service

The staff in your Dundee branch in my opinion they have no customer service skills and I also felt like if they said that they would do something for the customer they should do it and not tell the customer story's especially when the customer went back just before closing time giving the staff a whole day to look at the items and do a bit of research which they did not. That to myself being ex military is a lie to the customer's face and having no respect for the customer or the company that he works for. thankyou

Payment gone through but store has not recieved order

I was verbal abuse by the Store manager because I asked for a refund

Dear Complaints department Please find attached to this email a statement and complaint against one of your employees last week when asking for a refund. I have also attached a copy of the receipt as proof and confirmation of this transaction. I am giving you a deadline for my reply as I may have to take this to The Office Of Fair Trading and maybe a small claims court. I hope that this can be resolved as swiftly and efficiently, the sooner that I can put this whole ordeal behind me the better for my stress level and anxiety. Thank you J Heskey
