Scam... Don't do it

Awful. First you have to provide three different dates of the trip you choose, all 30 days apart and at least 90 days out. Then they say approx. 45-75 days before travel they will contact you. This was not the case. We waited and waited then a young lady called and we picked out dates that was "close" to one of the 3 sets mentioned earlier. This all started in October. New dates were now set for June 21, 2023. As time got closer, still no response. From the major airport we listed, there are two flight companies with cheap tickets for direct flights to our destination. We got a call June 12, 2023. The guy wanted to put us on a flight that had a connection then landed in the destination at 11:59 PM. I asked if this counts as a full day. Trip we opted for was the airfare and two night stay. He said yes, this counts cause we are technically in before midnight. Who knows what time we would get to some 2 start hotel on the outskirts of the town that would cost an Uber to get to. Then we would have had 1 day in the destination with a 6AM flight the following day. They make it difficult so you have to upgrade. This was the biggest scam that had my money over 8 months. Still waiting for the snail mail to deliver the $350 back to me. SCAM.

Free trip that wasn't free

Got a free trip to Las Vegas and ended up paying well over $1000 for 2 nights and airfair. They put us at the Luxor which is nice, but that is all the way down at the end of the strip so we pretty much stayed 90% of the 2 nights in our hotel room with no wifi and only 1 channel on the tv to watch. Then the last day we had to check out of the hotel and went to the airport and sat there for well over 8 hours before our plane boarded to go home. The food at the Luxor is not that good and it is so expensive. We were suppose to get 2 free tickets for Circus DaSole and they told us that they couldn't get the tickets for the show. I would have been better off to save my money, So for being a free trip it sucked. Don't waist your time with this company.

Struggling for a refund paid 200 already and now they want more money

Theres more fees besides the fee for the room hidden costs not my thing. I would like a full refund of 200 dollars this is a scam.

Poor Hotel Accommodations

Casablanca charged us additional $1200 to upgrade hotel and to fly out of Los Angeles instead of San Diego even though our voucher stated in Reservation Letter received from Welk Resorts. We were booked at The Equus in Honolulu. 2 men with ski masks knocked on our hotel door twice early morning of 1st day. No phone in room. Used my cell phone to call front desk with no response. Called Casablanca to request other hotel next morning &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; was told nothing could be done. Stay away from Casablanca & Welk Resorts

Very upset with the scam

We were offered a "free trip to Hawaii" in order to purchase other travel packages. First, they get you to pay $350 to cover "taxes". When we tried to redeem our free trip, they went out of their way to make the trip so completely miserable that you would beg for an upgrade - where they get you to buy a trip for retail value. If you don't accept the upgrade, then they try to talk you into cancelling altogether, where you have to wait for you depositback - good lukc with that!

No contact

My wife and I are waiting for confirmation on our trip that is supposed to be scheduled for Oct. and we have heard nothing from Casablanca. Call the 800 number and it doesn't work and no return on emails that were sent. Very disgusted. Maybe my next vacation will be to Casablanca office in CA.

Rude Customer Service

I have been trying to book my trip to the Anaheim Disney Resort and due to COVID they were on hold and I had contacted them a few times though out the last year and they assured me that it would not expire. I called yesterday and they were extremely rude especially the Supervisor names Julio. He mocked me and insulted me and told me that I had only until the end of December to use it also that there were only a couple of days left to choose from. I cant believe that this is how they treat their customers. Sad..

Scam Artists

Hawaii Vacation given to me if I purchased a time share. The trip consists of a 15 hr. flight 2 nights at a hotel six 15 hr. flight home. But hey we can up-grade you for $1765.00

Ripped off

They owe me 220.00 for a trip that I never received an itinerary for. When I called for a refund the customer no service agent. I use the term very loosely, laughed and hung up on me.

It’s worthless

I was dealing with Casablanka for 7 month now. It’s a disastrous company. When I purchased with Intervall International program they gave me few presents with Casablanka. I Thouthen it’s nice,WRONG! I got first trip to Los Vegas for 2 nights. They gave me hotel in Outskirts of the city I had to take a bus or taxy all the time to get to the city. You can get yourself for $80 a night in the fantastic Venetian hotel on the weekdays without being harassed by Casablanka I have to Pay them 50$ for registration and then a hotel charged me couple hundred who knows for what they explain for car parking which I didn’t hand any , I flew in . Second trip was to Palm springs which from March I couldn’t get anything earlier than November , but they changed 50$ in March . I finally cancel this trip (in outskirts motel) How in the world it takes 9 months !!!to get Motel in Palm Springs ?Summer time nobody wants to go there because of heat. I’m trying to get my refund ! the last trip was to San Francisco which they actually harassed me for 8 month and gave me only September 30th! I’m waiting for $50 deposit which day cashed in March . the company is so low level that they never call you they never give you accommodations on time if you call they put you on hold for 45 minutes just to prove that your information is right and correct , while they know that already. They mail you letters collect Immediately, just to harass — and then put you on hold. Don’t waste your time and life with this company because nothing is free and you will be booked in the ugliest hotel or motel in the end of the town and you cannot see anything without Taxy Virga

Beware!

As soon as I received my "free" hotel and theme park voucher for attending a Welk presentation, I came to read review on Yelp on Casablanca Express. I knew about the tricks that they put you through and I was determined to follow the rules to the tee. But guess what, they are still out to screw you over! 3 days after I received my voucher, I filled in my form and send my $75 deposit to Casablanca (via snail mail of course at their insistence). I triple checked everything and also took photos of the form just in case. I received the mail back saying that they have received my deposit, with the instructions for booking. I followed the instructions to a tee, planned for a time that is not summer, not school holidays, not a busy season (I booked 5 Oct 2017), and I booked this months ahead of my travel date. They confirmed the booking and sent me a return mail, and said that someone would call me in a months time. When I heard nothing from them at the beginning of September 2017, I called them to ask them. They of course said that they cannot do anything for me until one month out from my travel date. I can see no reason why they choose to enforce this policy except to increase the chance that they would upgrade. Finally on 7 September, I receive the call. As expected, I was told to pay over $200 to "upgrade" my accommodation as the one that comes free is terrible, not suitable for more than 2 adults, far away...etc. I was expecting the upsell but I did not need to upgrade. Despite pressure, I resisted and said I would take the "free" accommodation. When Simon knew that he couldn't sell me, he became very rude, and would not tell me anything about the accommodation I would get, and just said I would receive the vouchers in the mail 7-10 days before the trip. I am sure they leave it to the last minute to pressure you some more. I waited until 7 days out before my travel date (26 Sep), and of course, having received nothing, to call again. After I gave my confirmation number, they now told me, that my voucher would now be "emailed" to me, and I would only be able to receive it on Tuesday 3 Oct for my 5 Oct travel date, but I would also need to receive a call from their agent to "confirm". Despite saying that I have already confirmed everything and I would just like to receive my voucher that I actually paid $75 in taxes for, they refuse to review anything, and I would just have to wait for "the call" and "the email". I don't see any reason why they cannot send me my voucher except for another opportunity to upsell me on the call and to make my trip as inconvenient as possible. I am not sure whether I will get to go on my trip that took 1+ year in the planning (I received the voucher in Sep 2016), but I sure will not go anywhere near Casablanca Express again. Hopefully by posting my experiences here it will help other unsuspecting prospects they will try to trick.
