Each time I call, the person says Thank you for your call, and hangs up!! This is horrible customer service!!!

I have not used them except for one time and took a long time to get tire service

My wife had two flats on her car in Ohio and it took 3 to 4 hours for somebody to come and help Should have not took that long by herself along side of the freeway not the best position to be in

Phone cut off

Cant get them on phone its disconnected. They take my payment every month but you cant contact them. Very frustrating

I need to cancel my policy

I have heard car shield for quite a long time but my car broke down. They put junkyard parts on my car. Im trying to cancel today and they wont let me cancel unless I join something else.

POOR SERVICE

SO I GOT CAR SHIELD FOR HIS BIRTHDAY AND NO ONE TAKE'S CAR SHIELD. WE CALLED 4 DIFFERENT FORD DEALER'S AND SOME OTHER AUTO SHOP'S. AND NO ONE WILL TAKE CAR SHIELD. SO WHAT ARE WE PAYING ALL THIS MONEY FOR IF YOU CAN TAKE YOUR CAR ANY WERE. CAR SHIELD JUST TOOK ME FOR $1000.00. DO YOU THINK CAR SHIELD WILL MAKE IT RIGHT. *** NO. I THINK THIS SO WRONG OF CAR SHEILD. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO.

Cancel Service

Please CANCEL my service with Car Shield. I cannot continue with this insurance plan. I have requested this cancellation several times and nothing has been done. They continue to debit my account. Keep receiving mail and don't have a car.

My dealership no longer accepts your warranty due to non payment issues

My dealership told me that they cancelled you the first of the year due to non - payment. Do you service other Nissan dealerships in Columbus or what shops do you pay? If you no longer service these dealerships or shops in Columbus, I want my money back and my membership cancelled. I need to know ASAP

Deceptive advertising, inconsistent policies between their personnel, terrible customer service, and they don’t keep their word

Got a policy with these folks January 2022 paid for a full year in advance. No claims no issues because I didnt know any better. January 1923 renewal time and before I bought, I called in to ask in more detail what kind of coverage I would specifically get for a vehicle with the mileage that I had at 2011 Tundra with about 140,000 miles,Sales rep promised a level of coverage (PLATINUM). So I renewed and paid for a full year in advance again..I later discovered they dont offer this coverage for my vehicle at those miles - I found this out when I tried to make a claim, they have stonewalled me for giving me my money back. I have kept notes dates times when Ive called which has been numerous and they dont call back, they dont keep good records internally. Only today, April 25, did I discover that a call I made April 24 (about the 10th time), did they finally agree to cancel the policy but I am asking for my money to be refunded retroactive to the late January date since they were deceptive and dishonest, and cost me a full amount of the repair when I went to make a claim for the power steering pump and I failed steering column U joint. The front line people answering the phone to customer service try to be sympathetic, but they have apparently no power to do anything and they keep promising a supervisor is going to call back which they have not.

Deceptive advertising, inconsistent information, provided to customers, unfair, business practices

Was promised coverage that was not actually available for my vehicle but I didnt find that out until after I had committed based on that sales rep promise. They promised a platinum coverage for my 2011 Tundra recently when I called in January 2023 I had an issue on the truck, not a huge issue, But a steering pump was bad and a steering shaft U joint also needed to be replaced when I called to make a claim with CarShield. I discovered that I had to now submit this through another half of the company that they call Auto shield which is a different side, adding complications, only to eventually have claim denied, because they said I had no coverage. Instead I have a silver or gold (lesser). Now the story is because the miles on my vehicle (142000) were too high for platinum status. I am only able to get a gold or a silver coverage, which did not include coverage for the steering components. I pointed out that that was all well and good, but that if they would listen to the recorded call they would hear their own sales rep giving incorrect information. When I called to make a decision back in January as to which company to go with for an extended warranty, before I made the decision to renew, it was in that I was told that I had the platinum coverage, and that all of these various components would be covered. Although they quickly pointed out well, you shouldve read your contract, I have to remind them. There is no contract sent to me until after I commit to buy the vehicles warranty! Their problem is that they dont hold their own staff accountable for information to make sure its consistent with what is actually provided. They also promised to be have a supervisor returned my call when I complained about this back in March 23 and 27th. No call ever came. I called again yesterday to cancel and to remind them. I had not gotten a call back, they promised they would send out an email with verification that the policy was canceled and that I asked that it be retroactive back to a few months ago (since they sold me a policy on false information.) I also pointed out that while I was believing I had coverage and when I did need to make a claim, I know how to pay out-of-pocket in full for that repair on top of paying for a warranty coverage that is poor. I called again today again their representative who claims to have no authority and cant make any decisions to help get me the refund that I am requesting, yet waste my time, telling me all the things that are the way business is done, a carshield And that I should Await a supervisor call back which I pointed out. Im not going to sit by the phone and wait for a call that so far doesnt ever happen anyway, I have asked for a specific time for a callback. I dont have any confidence whatsoever the third going to do what they say, and I need to know what other recourse I might have these people are really unreasonable and on accountable and meanwhile Im constantly getting a barrage of promotions for the email to sign up with CarShield!

They are a waste of money

If you read the plan you well see that they can use anything to keep from paying. They did it to me after I have payed them a lot of money over the years.When I needed them they would not pay. I STOPED PAYING THEM ANY MOOR MONEY THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A BIG SCAM. So save your money,you well be better off.

this company is a pure shell game. they want service records from previous owners. the salespeople sell you a product but dont ask for service records before you buy their worthless service. only informed you after you make a claim

Don't BUY THIS INSURANCE

Bought car insurance on two of my cars, one car's engine light came on was told by Car shield to take it to the shop and my deductible would only be 100.00. so got the mechanic to call Car shield after he used the diagnostic computer analysis to find out what was wrong with the car! He was told none of the problems my car had were covered under my car insurance and I would have to pay them out of my own pocket. including the diagnostic analysis which was 130.00 my problem is they advertise that only 100.00 deductible BUT that's only if they approve the claim, which is not mentioned in their advertisements on T.V. or by the salesman, but you can not find out want is wrong with your car if you do not have the diagnostic analysis1. So it's a catch 22! so taking your car in is a *** because you do not know what the result will be and then your stuck with the bill! car shield's claims dept was so slow, I waited 45 minutes on hold finally a recording came on and said if you would like us to call you back please leave your phone number and someone will get back to you in 15-20 minutes, 45 minutes later I called back got customer service who informed me that maybe it was a pre exzisting condition and it wasn't covered? another told me maybe they got the two cars mixed up?. My mechanic then called me and said he had been on the phone trying to get through to the claims dept for hours! no one from claims ever called me back, I finally canceled my insurance on both cars and will be getting my money back, paying 200.00 a month for insurance on your cars incase they break down and then getting stuck with an 800.00 bill and they won't even cover the diagnostics to find out want is wrong with your car a very bad insurance policy and company!. t
