Edinburg Texas carmike unhappy camper
Lines and wait time are unexceptable. Alcohol bar services should not be where kids hang out. The priority customer line should be located away from the regular line. It makes it seem as if they are inconsiderate and simply just cutting line. I really hope this inconsiderate layout changes soon. If it ain't broken why alter it. Some things we can't do anything about and some we can. Do the right thing!

Employee to employee treatment
I visited Tiger13 with a friend and her daughter. I left my movie at the end to go to the restroom and when I came out I heard two employees correcting another employee on how to clean the Big D display Windows. It's was loud enough that I turned to look what was going on. When I came from the restroom to the lobby to meet with my friend I noticed the boy was then sitting on the floor cleaning booster seats. My friend and her daughter told me they complained to another employee bc the same employees were telling the boy he wasn't doing his job right and they were going to dock his pay. Mind you the whole time his was going on the manager was standing a few feet away from all this. The girl we talked to went and spoke with the manager and we could see them laughing it off like it was funny. With all this said I want to also say they young boy they were berating had Down syndrome!!! I think this is the most disgusting thing I've ever witnessed!! Especially the way management handled it. I come to this theatre atleast 2 times a week and on this particular day I came to see two movies. I will not be doing business here any longer.

the carmike in edinburg tx the two managers on 1/27/2017 8:00 pm in the front did not want to help with the over crowed theater room i was a paying customer and i did not have a seat when i walked in there was people standing up on the sides due to the same issue when confronted with the issue they asked me if i had seen anyone sneak in i had not but if they have a set movie of seats and a set number of tickets there shouldnt be anyone standing but they did not seem like they wanted to help i had also bought food and drinks from the concession stand 30 dollars worth of it and they did not want to refund it even tho we did not get to see the movie we wanted since they did not want to help with the over crowed issue in the theater room they just offered our money back the problem was the movie "yugioh the dark side of dimensions" is only showing that friday and one showing at 2 Pm sunday and 8 pm on monday and i work both days since they were lazy in fixing the issue i will not be able to see the movie and will never recommend anyone to go to that theater.

Short Review on December 13, 2016
My daughters wallet was found cuz she lost it there. I was told it was there so I go pick it up and no one knows where her wallet is. Employee said they are not responsible to keep anything there so basically they can take it. I will be going with a police officer till the wallet is found. New Smyrna Beach Florida location.

On 11/18/2016 at 3:00 I and my friend wanted to watch the movie “Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them” in Sundance cinema theater, Seattle, WA. As requested at the entrance of the cinema theatre we showed our IDs, but we were not allowed to enter. Local manager told us that he cannot accept our IDs as they are not valid to him: - The manager said that the rules says, that valid ID of US citizen should be presented or we should show the passport. He said, that this is the rule from WA state liquor office; - I tried to explain, that the mentioned rules indicate the requirements for IDs, which are: it must be valid, there should be a face photo, date of birth and signature; - All the above mentioned requirements are fulfilled in the presented ID. In addition the presented ID is legal valid document to identify the person under the laws of Lithuania, where we came from; - I also explained that I never had a problem of buying with my ID anything at liquor stores in Seattle. In addition, I am 35 years old and it is obvious, that I am older than 21. The manager argued that the presented ID is not issued in US and he will not allow watching the movie. He also refused to make a clarifying call to liquors licensing office or do anything else. He was not helpful at all. The whole conversation was really unpleasant, Friday afternoon was ruined. Even if the law prohibits me of watching the movie (which is not the case), then at least the behavior of the manager was far from pleasant. At the moment only one thing is in my head – are all foreigners treated in such a discriminatory manner at Seattle Sundance Theater or we just came on the day, when manager was in a bad mood?

Removed Show without enough advance notice
We along with 30 other friends planned to watch movie "Chaar Sahibzaade: Rise of Banda Singh Bahadur" at the Carmike theatre in Morrisville, NC. We checked the schedule on Tuesday and again on Wednesday for a show on Thursday (11/17/2016) at 6:45PM. To our surprise when we reached the theatre, we were told that the show has been removed because new movie was released which replaced that movie. We requested to speak with the Manager and to our surprise he mentioned that this is very common practice that they can remove/replace the shows even though it has been advertised on their website for days. The manager was non-apologetic and showed no regret.

Carmike-dirty , expensive and not handicapped friendly once inside theater
On October 22, 2016 my friend and I went to St Lucie West Carmike Theaters. This was my first and certainly will be my last visit to any Carmike facility. We went to see in theater 13 the movie Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children-the 330pm showing. My friend Barb has a neurological condition and must use a walker. In this theater-filled with steps to upper and lower seats- -our only choice was two seats to the far right of the screen-no other double seat were available on this level-unacceptable. Further the ladies room was filthy-hundreds of wet -used paper towels all over the floor- stalls without toilet paper-disgusting. What amazes me is the nerve to charge $8.75 for each ticket and $13.50 for popcorn and a drink. What could have been a pleasant experience turned out to be a truly awful time. I sent my complaint to the Carmike Cinemas and have not heard back from them

Carmike Cinemas Showtimes Review
Need to have reserved seating. Nothing moree aggervating than arriving an hour early to get a good seat and its a free for all. I see at least 150 movies a year and since the Regal here in Ft. Wayne added padded reclining reserved seats the only reason I go to Carmike at all is the IMAX. Your loss but I can clearly see I am not alone as the crowd at Carmike has dwindled.

After driving 45 minutes to get to the theater yesterday (30 minutes before the 4:40 movie started) to watch "The Revenant", I walk into the Shiloh 14 only to be told that all the shows were sold out for the night. I "bit my tongue" to not take this out on the person working at the counter. Do you want to know why it was sold out in our theater!? Because there are only THREE showings DAILY of it! Star Wars is still showing FIFTEEN TIMES daily and it has been out for three weeks-- the "Reverant" came out yesterday here. I cannot begin to describe the anger that I feel with Carmike and the ridiculous way that they run business. I am sure there were TONS of people pissed off last night. If that's the kind of feeling you want towards your company, good luck. After driving 50 minutes to get home (living in Shepherd), I told my wife that I am done with Carmike. I love movies but I am too frustrated to give any of my money to any company because of ignorant things like this.

Consession Stand Rip Off
07/14/15 went to see the 1:25pm showing of the Minions, with my 5 & 4 years old daughters. Went to purchase a Medium Popcorn and 2 small drinks. The Rep then old me that it would be cheaper to buy the "Combo Package" which included a Large Popcorn and 2 Large Drinks. He took my CC and then proceeded to fill my order. When I saw how frickin big the drinks were I voiced my concern. (You might as well take a 32 ounce bottle of soda and put a straw in it) Anyway I asked the rep to refund the combo package and I would just take my original order. He then proceeded to tell me that he was unable to since it was a CC purchase. Long story short when we left we left over half the drinks and half of the popcorn. It was obviously "Way to Much" for two toddlers. When we got home they both complained of tummy aches. It will be a long time before I spend any money at Carmike again. Order a bucket of popcorn and simply forgot to purchase the drinks 2 for 3.00 and they refuse to sell them to me they told me it will be 12.00 Dollars instead of 3.00 a total rip off 20.00 for a bucket of popcorn to high any way should have came with drinks for that much 5 year old child movie same price as the adult what a shame.
