Did not receive my order

USPS said they delivered my order to the wrong address and were unable to retrieve the package so I never got it. The package had the correct address on it. My order # 6001****

If you need anything you better leave yourself a month to get it.

The first order comes quickly but the second order is a wait and see

Hopeful

I just placed my order, it was quite expensive but after reading the reviews off of the initial site I purchased my flea treatmeny for. I decided on purchasing another order from this company hoping that this one would come within the 7-10 days they promised. I'm really struggling with this flea issue; so, I'm willing to spend the money just to get a peice of mind. Please pray for me!!! I'll of course keep you all updated. I also paid a bit more for the tracking info.

Hidden charges

Hidden charges beware Product was fine, however there was no upfront statement of possible extra charges due to shipping. Staff were uncaring in the process. Fine print should have been stated on ordering process rather than elsewhere. Company has no concern about consumer's rights.

What a ripoff!

On June 21 I ordered Nextguard Spectra. I wanted a six month supply, so based on the picture (which shows three chews per box, I ordered 2 boxes. What I received was two boxes with a single chew. called r customer service and spent 18 MINUTES waiting while she tried to find my account, couldn’t find my account, told me she could not give me a refund, that she did not have the authority and she didn’t have the authority to put me through to someone who had the authority I spent 50.22 on two chews (25.11 each). A random vet survey found an average price of 57.24 for a 3 pack. RIPOFF! Oh! That best price guarantee? Don’t bother trying to collect on that

They're OK if you order FAR in advance...

Don't order from Canada Vet (which isn't really in Canada...be aware of that) if you're needing your product right away. At the least, if you're lucky, you'll wait around 2 weeks. But you'll likely wait a month or more. I called about an order today that I placed on April 5 (it's now May 2) and as soon as she got my order number she began to talk very fast saying it shipped on April 9 and some spiel about how they ship it right away but it's regular mail service so it can take up to 28 days and to call back if it isn't received by May 7 and they'll refund my money. (Then she may have taken a breath.) Then she practically hung up on me, I couldn't get a word in edgewise except to say that I'd call back on May 8 if I didn't receive it by the 7th. Thankfully I'm not out of the product (Revolution for cats) yet and have another treatment for this month, or I'd be out of luck. Her fast talking leads me to believe that slow delivery is what most people call about. Unless I don't receive this order I'm OK with them because I don't wait until I run out or almost run out of product to order, I have a dose or two in reserve. And I've ordered from them maybe 5 times. The products have been fine so far, thankfully. My best friend won't order from them anymore because they were very late (well over a month) on her order in December and they kept blaming Christmas/holiday mail being extra slow. And reading some of these emails they also seem to offer a lot of excuses. Don't do that, customer service, it doesn't help, it makes people more upset. If you need product right away go to your vet or order elsewhere.

Absolutely pathetic!!!

Ordered Heartguard on January 8, 2018 and received a confirmation e-mail that the product was shipped on January 9th. Here it is February 3rd and no product!!! I called last weekend and was first shocked to find out that the product was allegedly shipped from freakin' Australia!!!! What the hell!!!! I was duped into believing that I was dealing with "Canada". The damned product was probably made in China for all I know. The Supervisor who sounded a whole like he was from India and not Canada nor Australia promised last weekend that he guaranteed I would receive it by the end of this week. The knucklehead dujour agent just told me that he has no way of tracking the order and could only offer a refund. Great, but what about the dog's health?! Missing a dose is not an option. IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG, DON'T BE STUPID LIKE I WAS AND TRUST CANADA VET EXPRESS!!! Not worth the risk & headaches.

Take too long and poor customer service

I ordered Nexgard Chewables for extra large dog on Jan-4-18 and today Jan-27-18. I still have not receive the med. I called in twice. The first time with in 7 days of the order. Canada VetExpress told me that it will be arrived within three days or no later by the end of next week, so that would be around Jan-12. didn't receive. i called back again this time they told me that the med has to be shipped from Australia, so it takes longer but for sure again it will be the end of next week, which is today Jan-27-18 Saturday. Yet I still have not received. I called and again they told me, The End of Next Week. My dog pass due on her med, and they couldn't give me day that the will be arrived. I asked to talk to manager, He said "manager are not on duty, so I asked for my order to be cancel. I couldn't do that either. When I asked to talk to manager and to cancel out my order. He answer in un-friedly matter and un-willyingly to help. Very poor service.

After almost two decades, I recommend it

I've relied on CanadaVet for as long I can remember. I learned the oddities of getting meds from Canada when you could still mail-order HUMAN drugs from there (NOT from CanadaVet, duh). The meds came from Turkey, Italy, you name it. It freaked me out at first, but there were no problems. Cross-border mail from Canada ALWAYS takes at least two weeks. (Try ordering something from Canada on eBay -- you'll see.) I order my dog's meds a month in advance. When I've had substituted meds, they do the same thing as what I ordered. Usually, it's the same manufacturer but a different form (liquid instead of a pill, etc.). All this stuff is bizarre till you get used to it. If you can't, just shop local.

Prescription

I called to ask how to get the prescription to them and was told they don't need it because "we are in the UK and get it over the counter so we don't need it." What? So, not Canada, and then I read here....not Australia either??? How about Not this company....

Good experience-despite the bad reviews

I had ordered heartguard from Canadavet.com before i started reading the reviews and I was honestly expecting to never see the meds and when I did get them they would be expired. I had no problem with them. the meds were well within date I bought them July 2017 and expiration date is good through Oct 2019. It did take about 17 days for them to get to my house but considering where they were coming from i don't think that is so bad. and the price was not bad at all. So, I had a good experience with them and will use them again in the future. I would also tell others to use them. I think it is ridiculous that the vet will refuse to give you heartguard without having to pay for bloodwork to ck for heartworms when you have been giving heartworm meds every month and you have a dog that barely goes outside. not to mention that the active ingredient in heartguard only kills eggs and larva in the bloodstream, so even if they happen to have some adults attached the chances are so slim that they will detach and cause a block in the heart that it is not worth your dog having to get the blood work and the cost of it. I had a dog that was diagnosed with heart worms after only missing a couple of months of taking heartguard (which you can get a false positive heartworm test, it happens all the time). Back then the vet that I was going to would let you sign a waiver waiving their liability if your dog died and I just continued to give him heartguard right on time evey month from then on and 4 yrs later i had him tested again and he had no sign of heart worms anymore. The adult heartworm only lives for about 4 yrs and then just desentigrates. If they don't have a very bad case of them there is no reason to do all the treatment for them and you can get x-rays to find out how bad an infestation they have.
