DO NOT HIRE BW VENTURES!

I could not be more unhappy with BW Ventures Photography. They were hired to photographed my wedding on 9/6/14 & I still don't have everything I paid for, it's 7/8/15! It's been almost a year!! I'll start at the beginning: Wayne, one of the photographers, didn't even make it to the groom's location before the wedding, he was supposedly lost. Then, after the wedding things got worse. Excuses came by the 100's as to why everything was late. Our photos were not even posted online until DECEMBER, despite the contract promising otherwise. We were given excuse after excuse: flu, computer issues, broken phone, etc. When digital copies were finally mailed on CD's they mysteriously 'got lost in the mail' with no proof they were ever sent. Weeks later after a crazy amount of phone calls, emails, texts, nagging, begging etc. we finally received a jump drive with the images. The nightmares only continue from there. BW changed their phone number with no notice to customers and I was forced to track them down. We received our physical prints only a few weeks ago! There were plenty more issues but I think this shows what a unreliable company they are! I paid in full up-front to take advantage of some of the perks offered but I have learned my lesson. BW Ventures is a bogus company that doesn't hold themselves to the contract they themselves provide. You will be truly sorry if you hire them.

Loved the photos

I used this company to photograph my wedding and the photographer did an excellent job on my wedding photos. The photos were delivered on time as promised and I have no complaints. I would hire Bobbi again and recommend her to anyone. She went over all aspects of my contract and MADE sure I understood that the contract was binding to both the bride/groom as well as herself. She explained the no other photography rule in her contract and why it was there. I kept my end of the contract and so did she. I read the previous review and by the posters own admission she broke the contract when she stated there were people photographing. Shame on her for trying to ruin a business of such a sweet, talented photographer.

BW Ventures Photography is a Horrible Company

Hired to take wedding pictures. Pictures were taken but never delivered, it's been SEVEN months! The wedding was 8/2/2014, as of today 2/10/2015 we still have no pictures. My daughter, the bride, made dozens of attempts to contact Bobby before I took over in December. Initially she told me it was taking so long because people were taking flash photography and it ruined the pics and required extensive editing. Well, the wedding was OUTSIDE in the SUNSHINE, even if a flash did go off, it would NOT have interfered with the photos. My step daughter, the best man, and 2 of my best friends are professional photographers and said there is NO way that would effect the pictures. When we FINALLY got Bobby to upload the pics to her site, NONE of them had been edited. So all the fuss over extensive editing was a lie. Again other photographers were asked to view the pictures and all agreed they are over exposed. I even told bobby to just send me the "raw" pictures as one of my friends offered to do all the editing as a favor to me. She refused. There are also MANY pictures MISSING from that day. For instance, pics of the groom with the bridesmaids, bride with the groomsmen, grooms family with the couple, poses of bride before wedding, and couple leaving in car. To name a few. I sent her pictures of her taking the pictures and she still says they aren't there or that "she doesn't post pics if someone's eyes are closed etc". If you look through our gallery, you can see THAT'S not a true statement! I asked her to send me those pics as well as many of them can still be fixed with proper editing. NOTHING One picture of my daughter that is POSTED shows her reflection in the mirror where the wedding dress if hanging. My daughter is in her UNDERWEAR! Who posts those? If they were carefully and "extensively" edited, why was this not caught? I have contacted Bobby via phone, text and email DOZENS of times since early December and all she gives are excuse after excuse. Every time we write it's like we never talked before. She asks the same questions and tells me more excuses why she hasn't finished the photos. I've gotten to the point where I just forwarded her our previous emails from days/weeks before where I did answer her questions or do what she asked. Her contract states 8weeks for pics, at the wedding she told me 4-6. She said this when she took pics of the couple holding a "Thank You" sign and I wanted to know how long it would take so they could use those pics for their Thank You notes. After SEVEN months, what are they supposed to do with those pics??? I asked bobby for a refund since she broke contract, she refused. She has since refused to answer any of my correspondence. That's why I'm here. Her statement that others taking photos breaks the contract is bogus, we even had her permission for my step daughter, another professional photographer, to take pictures! She just asked that she wait till Bobby took the pic first then she could repeat it. I was appalled that several of the pictures she took and posted aren't of the wedding but of people at the wedding taking pictures!!! Who knows what she missed. Would have been nice to get more pics of the wedding and family. She also complained there was "someone there with a tripod". I told her to look closely and she'd see he was taking video! The groom's grandmother was very ill and could not attend so they taped the ceremony for her. Oh, and he didn't have ANY light source, just the sun!
