Voucher issue

It was impossible to talk to anyone regarding my problem. I bought a voucher in December 2022 which has not yet been used. The purchase does not appear in my order history on their website ! The recipient has misplaced the voucher so I need to sort this matter out. Very time consuming and frustrating. Their 'chat box ' was totally unhelpful, and not fit for purpose. (My order confirmation number was BUY2650****).

Voucher had wrong date on Not my friends fault

My friend tried to change a date on a voucher was booked for the 23 instead of 30 July but she was told it was not their responsibility and told us to to contact hospitality line which said that she was a no show and the Palace had been paid She phoned the Palace Tour office and they were very helpful and gave us complimentary tickets for the tour She was very upset because it was for her 80th birthday Everything worked out in the end but she said she will send a letter of complaint

Can't redeem my voucher

Got 2 voucher 1 for 250 and 100 pounds. Now I got 120 pounds on one and 12.50 pounds and I can't redeem them been at it for 3 days now and not getting any where

Paid for room and breakfast and you have booked room only for us

Can’t talk to anyone, been let down twice and very very fed up

Your service the first time was poor the driving day my wife bought for me was cancelled three times now weve shown up to our favourite hotel for our combined birthdays break and the voucher my wife bought is worthless and Ive had to pay again only a lot more money and now I want to sue you or get some satisfaction or start writing to the national press about you ripping us off twice Not only can I not talk to a human being regardless of your contact us nonsense but Im Having to take time out of our very precious time together to write to you or is this a rip off too and a stupid machine ? Because I was feed up with going on line to book 4- Days at a hotel with my 2-gift vouchers for my husband 90th birthday

At my age no, as I could not used my two gift vouchers numbers on your site also they wanted £1 to speak on line to me the £1 is nothing but to give my bank details is another matter, also I dont know if I have used my two vouchers when I booked The Bliss in Southport, and I have had to pay an extra £527 so it is a waste of time bookin theses vouchers

I can't get through to anyone at all, my experience starts soon and I need to cancel it to change the date as I am unable to go on the booked date

I have booked a 2 night luxury break , booking no. RSV214*****. The booking is from 17th to 19th July, unfortunately I cannot go on this date, I have contacted the hotel bit they said that only you can cancel for me, I need someone to cancel asap

Trying to redeem by voucher

You are totally impossible to contact spent hours trying to use voucher site was dreadful didnt recognise any of the information, no phone number direct to help only more stupid messages, that dont help anyone ! Have 2 vouchers and now would like my money refunded ! Cant deal with a company that isnt contactable ! Carole Kyte.

Resolved: Sell you an experience box and then want more money when you come to book

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. After my complaint I have received the voucher which was entitled within my experience box, and apology, and a discount voucher as a gesture of goodwill.

I am pleased with the final resolution. Thank you.

I have an experience box which was bought using a discount code. Today I went to book the experience of chosen by a family member only to be told the voucher has a value limit and that I need to pay a cash value on top to get the experience that should have been included in the price. In fact the experience is still advertised as being included within the experience box options today as I just put it in basket to prove a point to them, but they would not budge! Mis selling experiences and worthy of trading standards review

£20 was not taken off my order at checkout

Ive tried contacting BUYAGIFT a number of times. I do an online chat and Im 10th in the queue, get down to 3 and get cut off 3 times. Sick and tired of trying to contact them. Also the number you gave me is unavailable

Trouble booking

Explained that I was being asked for my card details even although the voucher was paid in full. All customer service wanted to do was pass me to a computer expert at a cost as if there was something wrong at my end. The chat host just cut me off absolutely shocking service.

Complaint

Order no: BUY3029**** I ordered a Kings Coronation Tea on 23rd June and put in the code FUNAWAITS and it did not take off the £20. £81.99 was taken from my account on 24th June. I then tried again (to see if the code was okay) and it took the £20 off, but I did not complete the order. The problem is you cannot speak to anyone today! Ive been trying to resolve this since last week. I look forward to your comments. Regards Linda Garry

Misleading sales

I purchased a spa day package voucher. With 55 mins treatment for two and an afternoon tea as a gift for a Xmas pressie . Thought this would make a fabulous day out . They tried to book it and the website said it needed an extra £131.00 !! You can see from the voucher that it clearly shows what I had paid for , had I have just bought just a credit towards something they choose thats understandable that they may have to add funds but I had no reason to feel extra money would be needed . Cant speak to anyone , only a live chat , where they give you generic answers and you cant have a refund of over 30 days ?? It was a Xmas gift with 12 months to use it ! How would I know this problem until they went to use it ? Luckily we had the awkward phone call . They only offer you to change to another voucher !! Which itself probably comes with extra fees . Absolute CON!! Itll

Horrendous experience with admin

Today we went to our hotel booked through buy a gift but we were unable to go on the December date we had booked for due to my husband being in hospital it was explained to buy a gift team ( web chat) and the hotel asa we knew Robert couldnt possibly be strong enough to make it . We were told that we can re book when were fitter. Now yesterday I emailed buyagift to let them know we want to go to use the voucher today at the same hotel and we also rang the hotel to explain everything we previously spoke to the manager at the hotel but yesterday it was the reception and explained that we wanted to come today . Basically our worst nightmare as buyagift hadnt updated the voucher to todays date? From dec 1st the hotel reassured us that they hadnt took any money either and that they cannot re book without an updated confirmation no . !? So we sat deflated in the hotel foyer only to be told to produce a cancellation number so unexpectedly after receiving nothing off buyagift today I had to attempt the web chat which was with a bot then an actual agent and I started off as no 10 in the que eventually the agent got to work understanding our situation and she promised to get it cancelled at her end ALTHOUGH THIS WILL BE DIFFICULT?! ? . She then backed down after me waiting for ages and made some excuse that its a third party and not them that the problem lies with. She eventually got back to us ( and were still sat in the reception) she knew our situation?! She said I shouldnt do this but as a gesture of good will we have given you £150 as way of a good will gesture?! Four hours later still no voucher or email confirming this?? AND to rub salt in the wound . Immediately all the conversation ended and promptly dissapeared. Off my phone no more in a conversation with her.. sat like sitting ducks in a hotel that couldnt accept us Terrible trick for buy a gift to do to someone just because they couldnt be efficient and fair enough to alter our booking to todays date knowing full well that we havnt used it !!! IM SO LET DOWN !!! Never again trust these lot from but a gift !!
