Hopeless customer service

I have been to Butlins many times in the last 40 years, most recently to the 60s music festivals which have been excellent in Skegness and hopeless in Minehead . . Next year the 60s music is on the same date at both venues - madness ! At Minehead I had just cause to complain over the hopeless premium dining , and the customer service were appalling and dismissive telling me not to bother them again !!! Were they my staff I would dismiss them without hesitation .

Need time to pay

Hi I know you have deadlines to pay and I understand that. This would have been the third time visit for us. At the moment we are struggling like many financially. I cannot understand why you have to be so harsh with people. All I can say is work is bad at the moment my husband company closed last year and its been dire. If you could just allow till mid September we will have paid . We certainly wont be going away for a long time. Its only us thats losing out not you.

I have been to Butlins many many times , in recent years to the 60s music weekends at both Skegness (brilliant) and Minehead (hopeless) . Now you have them on the same dates in January 2024 . Absolute madness !!!

Disgusting accommodation

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Holiday Parks The issue that I have experienced was: We thought a gold apartment would be better quality its absolutely disgusting!! Dirty everywhere, stained curtains & carpet, stained sofa, broken wood around light switch generally shabby and needs tearing down absolutely disgusting you class this gold standard!!! Facilities for under 2 are shocking cant go on anything even with adult cant go in soft play what a waste of money for a weekend!! No plug in main bedroom how are you meant to get ready?? It occurred on: 2023-07-28 This meant that Feel ripped off nothing to do for an under 2 Sub standard shabby accommodations Refund I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. Premium dining issue

The Yacht Club has no live cooking station which you should have when taking the premium dining package. You have to find someone and ask for food from a live cooking station, they then have to find a chef and you wait and wait and wait and give up!! However if you are in The Deck there is a chef stationed at the live cooking area ready and waiting for you! Photos of the Yacht Club station - very small, picture of the Deck station - large open and occupied You pay the same price but get a very different experience. Not acceptable at all

Lost property

I have returned from a weekend break at Minehead. I think I might have left my subscription reading glasses there. Please could you check and let me know when you can please. I was staying in Atlantic Bay room number 7 and the letter on the wall was W. Please could you let me know ASAP. As I got a friend staying with you until Friday. And hopefully he can pick them up. Thank you.

Complaint, regarding contacting lost property

I booked into a long weekend stay from Peterborough, Cambs. Starting from, Friday June * to Monday * June 2023. My mobile phone Socket plug and wire was left inside my room. I received a reply from Butlins Lost Property who told me nothing was found inside my room. My response to that was, the group who I shared with wouldn't have taken it, which means, clearly, a member of their staff had stolen it from my room! I've not received a reply and to be honest, I'm disgusted!!

Total lack of customer support and care

dear sir or Madam my family and I have been coming to Butlins for holidays for over 20 years. this year my extended family asked me to book them a holiday ( a group booking). I contacted your group booking team and tried to book the holiday, unfortunately, I didn't have everyone's dates of birth, etc, the lady on the phone said to acquire them and to RING back the next day with the details. I called the team back the next day only to be told on the phone that I needed to email them. I then emailed them to the email address that I was given and have been waiting hours for the return phone call. Sorry but this is not the kind of customer service i would expect from your company. i have been loyal to Butlins for over 20 years. DAY PASS

I am trying to purchase tickets for a day pass so that i can surprise my daughter and grandson on Sunday 21st May. My grandson is playing in a rugby tournament on Sunday. My daughter is recovering from breast cancer and i have not been able to see them since before Christmas. I was informed by your colleague that they cannot accommodate us so that we can attend the presentation. I have spoken to the rugby Coach and he has informed me that only 9 out of the 17 players are attending so there will be plenty of room. Please can you help.

Preparation of our chalet in Minehead

We went to Spring Harvest in Minehead last week. Unfortunately, although being informed our accommodation would be ready at 7 pm, it was NOT. We had previously put our luggage in the room as agreed with the housekeeper before going for dinner and our evening commitment. We returned to our chalet at 9.30 pm to discover it had not been cleaned or even the bed made. We phoned customer services who sent 3 people to us at 9.45 pm. We sat in our car to give staff room to prepare our accommodation, returning at 10 pm. The cleaners had left. The bed had been made, the mattress was left hanging off the bed. We had to lift the mattress to get it on the bed properly. This was difficult for 2 elderly people who are not in the best of health. We were not happy with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The floor and sanitary ware looked like it had had a quick wipe round. We dont believe any cleaning chemical had been used. We phoned customer services the next morning to share our concerns and were assured that our bathroom would be cleaned! Again, there were no noticeable signs it had been cleaned, not even the toilet. There was even *** around the edge of the bath. We were very disappointed and could not see any point in asking for it to be cleaned properly. We did it ourselves!! Butlins failed us.

My mother and friend are being forced to miss there vacation

I booked a suprise getaway for my mother and her friend as a Christmas gift. Whilst making the reservation I put my information in as at the time I didn't have the other ladies information and as this was a suprise I didn't want to be contacting her before giving her the suprise to get her details. When I was making the reservation it stated that I could make any changes after booking including a name change via the app, I was unable to do so. I am working on a cruise ship out of the Caribbean so calling for me is near impossible, due to this reason I asked my mother to call and change the name. She was greeted by a very unfriendly, rude and unsympathetic employee whom told her I was the only one that could make changes. I asked my mother to call again in hope she would be welcomed by a nicer employee. Luckily she was and the lady was very sympathetic and far more helpful. My mother was informed by her of an email address I could contact Butlins at and they would help me to resolve this matter. Unfortunately the matter has not been resolved, I have had numerous emails with robotic unsympathetic employees basically telling me there is nothing they can do. I was only asking for a name change on the computer, now my Mother and Friend will miss out on there vacation in March and the money I spent on this vacation will not be refunded to me. I state again I was only asking for a name change...

The state of my so called gold apartment

Hi we arrived at butlins Bognor Regis we are in a gold apartment the apartment is disgusting the oven is full of grease there are stains on all the duvet covers the pillows have loads of yellow stains on them the fridge freezer is leaking Im in 202 catamaran drive I want a refund I cant even cook food in there these apartments are disgusting I came here for a break with my son who has autism Im really not happy with the service here at all
