How can one complain about a company that will arrive andd remove dirty, used fryer oil from premises. Then send you a check! I appreciate this company 100%

trucks arrive at convenient time, little to no disruption. this is not a complaint, it's a review after several years of service. as our companies have grown, the relationship continues to be stable and beneficial for both of us.

Misleading liars to the public and employees

They use misleading and unethical in their labor practices! They lie and bend HR laws and payroll to profit/steal from employees. Do not interact or think about doing business with Sumit, Lindsay, Seamus or any of the Toms that work there, they have no conscience or souls. I cannot express strong enough how under-handed these people are. Stay far away

Great service

Buck's Family Restaurant, Inc. from Williamstown, NY is proud to say we changed our pickup of fryer oil to Buffalo Biodiesel over a year ago. They have kept their word on service and payment! When called to do a pickup they are prompt! I would suggest using their service to help reduce time and effort of recycling our used fryer oil.

I signed about one year ago i have had no problems.

They have been up front with me all along so no problem recommending them. And my check have always came within 2 weeks after pickup.

All the negative reviews are true!!

The owner is slick, defensive and sounds so informed in his defense of every negative experience shared. What this pompous loser doesn't get, and never will, is that businesses that trusted him feel mislead and not served by BB as promised. No one reads the fine print on agreements, and they should, because owners like this will always point to it even though customers feel mislead by a salesman or whoever gained their business. For as intelligent as you seem, you can't read the room! You're like a comedian that's getting booed by 95% of the crowd, but is living in denial by thinking the other 5% are right.

They lied to get me to sign a contract then tried to Sue me and they won’t answer my phone calls

This company is absolutely horrible. I come from a small town and we dont like liars. I was lied to about the contract. My fault for not reading it. I thought a mans word was his word. I was told they had the best rate around (which they didnt) and if I didnt want to go with them to call them back and they would rip up my contract. The guy even said he was related to my neighbor who told me he wasnt related to the guy. They are totally Sue happy and know the average small business owner cant afford to fight. So were stuck. If i wasnt lied to and could at least inform the owner of what was happening i would feel better but all i get is the call center. I called 6 times and they wouldnt return my calls and they say they record them. Obviously they dont care once they get you. Please dont sign with them.

Don't do business with this company.

Total disaster. Came into my restaurant with a slick sales proposal claiming that they will purchase my used oil. I went with them but had issues with the size of the container...it's way too big for the space I have. It's a 45 inch container placed in front of a fire exit and there's no room to even get my trash out. Spoke with the owner and he told me that he would remove as I requested. A week later it's still there. They have a worthless answering service and the owner won't answer phone and his mail box is full. No response to emails either. Now I'm stuck with this huge container blocking a fire exit door. If you dare to get in bed with this company make sure you are prepared with KY gel and be prepared to get screwed.

Scam company

Before going into my review, please look up "Buffalo Biodiesel lawsuits" and see for yourself. Matthew Lazroe represents Buffalo Biodiesel in "shakedowns" (extortion) of local mom & pop stores. Over 600 lawsuits have been filed against businesses! They hope for quick wins from businesses that do not answer (win by default), or by settlement (it's cheaper for businesses to settle than to go through litigation). Buffalonews online article: "[New York] Attorney General's office said the company abused the court system and targeted small-business customers in order to obtain easy cash through default court judgments. " Absolutely scummy.

Two years with no contact and the container isn't mine.

We bought a house two years ago which used to be a business it is now a home We have tried contacting them for the last two years to remove their container with no luck. You call and get the answering service but no one from the company ever calls back.

Hole in tank and won't pay for cleanup

I had *** in my tank in January 2018 which was leaking out into the road. Subsequently, the dec was called for an expensive cleanup. BB continues to say that the leak was our fault and we should have called them to pick it up. We only called them frantically about the situation numerous times, explaining the situation, until another company was called in to clean it up. At the time they told me that they would be responsible for the clean-up cost. To this day we have not seen a dime. I sent the complaint to the NYS attorneys general office, and they said they would keep it on file if others have the same complaint. I also contacted the BBB and got no satisfaction from them, with BB offering me a small percentage of the total bill. My next step is to take them to court, which I intend to do. Funny though, today I received a check from them for my 2 years of oil. The thing is, the check was written 10/09/18 and mailed 3/14/19 and received 3/21/19 with the amount of the check written in the front bottom corner of the envelope. Are they waiting to have enough money to clear the check. Also, the check is only good for 180 days, leaving only 18 days left to cash the check! I hope that anyone who has a complaint about this company report it to the better business bureau. I asked them how this company could have a AAA rating and they said the amount of complaints is not large enough for the size of the company. Everyone complain!

Its about to get worse

This company is horrible. Very poor service and full of lies. They say whatever it takes to get the contract signed. They do not pay or even pick up the grease most of the time. They will not return calls or let you speak with anyone. They leave you with your hands tied cause you have a full container spilling over in the lot and wont pick it up. As soon as you call another company for service they file a lawsuite on you for up to $10,000 with no warning and make you go to New York to defend yourself. Just google buffalo bio diesel lawsuite and see for yourself.

Flat out Liars STAY AWAY

Buffalo Biodiesel approached me telling me that my current service provider would no longer service me because I am a small restaurant and was very aggressive about getting his contract signed. I signed then, but later I called my oil company and they told me they have no plans of shutting down or stopping my service. The sales rep lied right to my face to gain a contract without a care about what it would mean for my restaurant.
