Bait and switch

Horrible experience promised a four ton dumpster and then they had a "mix up" and could not deliver the four ton and gave a three ton (switch and bait). Then had to wait over a week to get the three ton dumpster. When we completed our project we requested the dumpster to be removed and they could not remove on the promised date. Budget dumpster apologized again and said they could not move it until another week and a half. Go elsewhere buyer beware, you pay for what you get with budget service.

Horrible communication and customer service

The man I sent my rental up with was helpful. The initial rental was 2 weeks, I told him I would need it longer than that and he texted me and said that they wont come get it until I contact them to schedule a pick up and to contact him towards the end of my rental to negotiate a cost for extending my rental. He then never responded to any of my messages I got no communication from the company other than automated emails My replies to them went unanswered I called and spoke to someone about needing it longer and she told me she would make sure it wouldnt end up on automatic pick up Then I get an email with an invoice and a scheduled pick up. I called to let them know I would like to set up a payment arrangement and would still like to extend my rental They said I couldnt extend the rental and someone would contact me to set up a payment plan - that was last week Yesterday I get emailed a new invoice and check my bank account to see they withdrew the entire balance at once I called and demanded to speak to a supervisor but they cant transfer you to a supervisor, they said theyd transfer me to billing - they sent me to collections - he doesnt handle payment plans and couldnt connect me to the person who could I got a call back from a supervisor today - am she offered to forward me the emails I was supposedly sent - I still havent received them and when I ask when this person supposedly emailed me she said she reached out several times - I said when and how??? She said by e-mail several times on the 5th so I said youre actually trying to tell me that one person sent several emails trying to reach me but couldnt pick up the phone even once ??? Ive been offered no partial refund or anything for my trouble and I wouldnt recommend doing business with them Absolutely horrible customer service and communication

Can't get them to pick up dumpster after told 3 different dates of pickup.

Needed to clear debris, junk from home. Done. House on market, need it gone. They promised 3 times to pick it up. Since I already paid, I'm no longer a priority. Now I have an open house tomorrrow and eyesore dumpster in my driveway! They could care less!

I ordered a 15 foot rolloff dumpster per their website and was delivered a 12 foot rusted plywood for sides , trailer on 4 wheels (not ground level rolloff as advertised) . Immediately called customer service and sent them photos of what was delivered and the customer service rep continue to repeat or 15 foot Dumpsters come in various format. And would not help resolve issue . She indicated she would have someone call me I never did. Update - Jack reached out to me after this review. He was very pleasant, and apologetic. He wanted to know how to make it right. He gave me a partial refund, and let me know he would be reaching out to the vendor, and addressing the rude escalation team that I spoke with .

Do not use this company!!!

Worst dumpster company they charged me triple what they quoted me! Charged me a contamination fee and overage charges for vines wrapped around concrete blocks. Customer service would not credit me and I got charge close to $700 in hidden fees.

Overage Charges

What a Racket Rented a 30-yard dumpster for the first two weekends in August. Dumpster was used to clean out my old house. Paid $740 with a 2-ton limit. Threw out 3 appliances (Stove, Washer and dryer) total weight about 600 pounds. An old sleeper loveseat, sofa and recliner. Say about 300 pounds. Some rugs, various textbooks and papers. Another 200 pounds. Broken down bed frames and tables. A couple of mirrors. We'll say about 300 pounds. Some other misc. junk. To be on the safe side - 400 pounds. Add them together and we have about 1800 pounds. Less than 1 ton. Fast forward to 9/12/2022. I received an invoice stating that the dumpster was 4.12 tons over the limit. Was billed an additional $638. That would be 6.12 tons. Over 12000 pounds? Of course, when I try to ask them about the overage, I was emailed some spew of "A state certified Weighmaster determined the weight of your materials in a highly regulated, governmental process". Asked for an itemized list of what I had in the dumpster and mentioned that I will dispute this charge with my credit card company. Response of "We cannot provide an itemized list of everything that was inside of your dumpster when it arrived at the landfill. However, we can provide the state-certified weight ticket from the landfill as further evidence of the weight of your debris. This will be sent to you via email as soon as possible. Please note that if you choose to dispute this fee with your bank, and the weight ticket comes back and it does not match the invoice you received, we will be unable to refund you directly. You would have to go through your bank. If you do not dispute and the weight ticket comes back and it does not match, we will be able to continue assessing the situation further". I should have read the reviews BEFORE I rented. It's like this company forgot to remove the dumpster from the truck before weighing. Last year, I rented from another company. Threw a lot of drywall and cinder blocks away. Did not receive any overage charges. SCAM - buyer beware.

STILL WAITING ON DUMPSTER!

Ordered this dumpster to be delivered Friday, 8/19, called 3 times to make sure we were still getting the dumpster only to be told that we were still on for delivery and then later on waiting on dispatch to see where the dumpster was. Monday morning still no dumpster or the courtesy of ANY phone calls!

Scam artists!

Budget charged us over $775 for a dumpster rental they claimed they delivered! We were waiting on site from 5:30a.m. to 8p.m. on the confirmed delivery date and they never showed up so we requested a refund the following day. Then, Budget charges an additional $150 for "trip fees" to our creditor without notifying us! Budget refuses to provide a refund nor will they provide an explanation as to why they never showed or returned our calls. This is so absurd that we felt compelled to write this review in hopes others will not be scammed by this company. We have opened an investigation with our creditor, filed a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau, and are currently seeking legal action.

Scam artists

Budget charged us $800 immediately for our rental which they never delivered. They did not show up to the site on the promised delivery date and we were also charged an extra $150 on our credit card without our knowledge. We called Budget to notify that no one showed up and we were charged over $950! Budget continues to refuse a refund claiming they showed up to our site. We have solid evidence via on site video surveillance with multiple cameras recording 24-7. Budget lied to us. Also, our employees were waiting on site from 5:30a.m. to 7p.m. for Budget who never showed! We filed the dispute with our creditor and reported this company. Please avoid this company. We wrote this review in hopes others do not get scammed by this company.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! Hire local and work with real professionals who know the dumpster business. The positive reviews have to paid for or their own employees. There is no way this company should be allowed to do what they do. Not only do they show up late, they will not give you any updates- you have to call them. After taking off work for this project, we did not receive the dumpster even close to the original date we agreed upon. Now they are charging me another $192.00 because of "weight overages". I have no way of having proof of said overages and they already charged my card. They already broke the contract when they didn't have the dumpster to me...with no notice ahead of time I might add...and now they want to bring up the 'contract' to me. Educate your employees to work with clients to find out if the dumpster they choose is going to be enough. They offered me a $40 credit as if that is going to be reimbursement for the days we had to take off. Insulting.

Poor service

Dumpster will not arrive when they say it will. They will not show up when they say they will. Oh we had a delay will be there tomorrow but will never call you to tell you . you have to call them after they didn't show up for updates . Pickup will be whenever they feel like it maybe a week or more later . They outsource the dumpsters so they have no control over when dumpster will get there. Will get unexplained bill month later for unknown charges. *** Poor customer service. No one knows anything. Never again will I use this service. You can get twice the size dumpster from the competitor for the same price or less. Just pure ridiculousness.

Fraud!! Scammer!!!

This company is a third party company. They advertise as competitive price but charge you for overage so as to add up for the prices theyd have charge at the beginning. I got two different 20 yards dumpsters two days interval. When they came to get the first dumpster, I understand there might be extra charge because it was filled up (they billed me almost 1700 dollars)but the second dumpster is not even half of the twenty yard dumpster I asked for but they still managed to charge my credit card $1800 thereby taking all my money off my credit card. My candid advice is to stay off this company as they are real scammers!!

Budget Dumpster is scamming me with overage charges of an additional $460. I only needed a 10 yard dumpster to get rid of excess wood from a rebuilt backyard shed but, because they didn't have any in stock, I agreed to rent a 20 yard dumpster with a 1 TON limit instead for $399. I filled it roughly a third full with the wood and scheduled a pick-up. Everything was fine until today (2 weeks later) when they sent me a bill for overage saying I used 5.6 TONS of weight...I carried all the wood into the dumpster myself in one afternoon and can GUARANTEE it was way less than 1 TON of material...because I don't moonlight as the hulk. I called BD thinking they'd quickly recognize the oversight but each of the (very polite) reps I've spoken with today have just reiterated the incorrect billing amount and have said there's nothing they can do about it. How is this legal? Update: I received a call back from Kayla in Billing who informed me, "There's literally nothing I can do" and when I asked to discuss w a manager she claimed she didn't have a boss but directed me to the customer service line or the corporate@***r email box. Again, how is there no recourse for a customer and how can BD legally fleece ppl? I see now from other comments that the Austin office is clearly shady but how are they still in business? Do not trust them with your credit card info or your business.

Pushed up delivery date

Called them they gave us the delivery date then called and said it would be two weeks to delivery one going to cancel hope we get are money back
