Disgusting service

Getting a call back from a supervisor there call centre is a joke and they lie and dont have a clue what they are doing or care about your concerns legal advice will be taken as they owe me over a thousand pounds of a refund

Customer inquiry without any update after 2 weeks..

2 weeks after my flight was canceled by Brussels Airlines and request for refund placed by email the next day, I remain without an update on my request and the money i had to advance (hotel+ transfert+food) remain without treatment. really bad handling of the situation!

Refund request

Hi, I had a major vacation ruined because of the change to my flight and cancelation 1-day delay. All my friends got compensated. I would like to get compensated as well for this inconvenience. We lost a ton of nonrefundable accommodation and caused a ton of stress by the cancellation. We tried contacting Brussels airline with no success for months, then they gave us the Lufthansa complaint link as their parent company. Lost/delayed luggage compensation unpaid after more than 4 months

We have lost counts of our emails, calls or chats with Brussels Airlines customer service department since we are not able to speak to a live agent that can actually provide us with an update . We have been waiting on an update on delayed/lost luggages compensation for open claims in reference 2302-SN-01420, 2301-SN-01777, 2301-SN-05815 It has been more than 4 months now. We had two luggage lost/delayed respectively for more than 5 days and more than 30 days since December 28,2023. What is almost unbelievable is that we were reimbursed for a lost item $125 and half of the expenses $250 then nothing for the actual luggage compensation and weve submitted all receipts and required documents. How do they pay that and not the compensation for both luggage ? They have not even have the decency to reply and update us. Best regards Francoise

Poor customer service/relations

Brussels Air had possession of my baggage for five days. I was told they would deliver it after day one. Clearly not truthful. Virtually impossible to communicate with the offshore customer service to get compensation for the expenses incurred. Still in the middle of this frustrating experience. Will never deal with this airline again.

Extremely delay over 7mo

My luggages were damaged and multiple items stolen from my bags on a trip to west Africa. Claim was filed with relative documents sent. They have still not resolved my claimed or investigated it. They requested and received everything they asked for but still havent resolved my claims.

Missed flight due to an issue with your customer service

Hi, I recently had a very unpleasant service with Brussels airlines, and I would like to complain about it. I made a reservation for a flight from Montreal to Dakar, for the 22th of April 2023. Unfortunately, when I got to the Montreal airport for checking in, the hostess (from Air Canada) informed me that I could not board in because she could not find my flight ticket in the system. I immediately called the customer service of Brussels airlines to understand the problem and they told me that my flight ticked had been cancelled because I did not pay a 26 euros fees for name correction. As far as I remember, I did not receive any e-mail asking me to pay for that fee (I even checked in my junk e-mails). The truth is, in the confirmation of my reservation, I had noticed that my middle name was missing. On the 20th of April, I called the customer service to know if this would be an issue or not. The guy told me they would get back to me later, but they never did. I do not understand why they decided (without informing me) to cancel my reservation. This was a huge issue for me when I was informed at the airport that I could not take the plane. I quickly managed to book the next flight available (the next day). Please note that I was going to Dakar for a training organized by my company. For that training, I was the main instructor and because of that issue, the training was delayed. THIS WAS A SERIOUS INCONVENIENCE for my company and for our client in Dakar. For this SERIOUS INCONVENIENCE, I ask for a compensation. I have been flying with Brussels Airlines since 2013. I have been having a good experience with you and this is the first time I have this kind of trouble. I am very disappointed with you customer service because I called several times (between the 20th of April and the 22th of april) to make sure everything was ok for my flight, but each time I called, it looked like the customer service guy was only trying to make me stop worrying. But finally, they did not fix my name issue, they did even worse: they cancelled my reservation !!! And I missed my flight. I respect your company a lot and I trust this kind of issue was an isolated case that does not happen more often. However, this experience was very frustrating for me, this is why I am contacting you to complain and ask for a sort of compensation. Pending your response, I send you my best regards, ***

24hour Cancel-Get refund is FALSE

Booked an online flight. Cancelled before 24 hours. Had clear documentation of same. (screenshots w/ times, emails etc.) Airline refused to refund what was paid. Poor to no response from BA. Eventually dispute resolved using Mastercard after 6 months of a fight. DO NOT TRUST the 24 hour refund option.

Delayed Lost Luggage Claims still unresolved

2302-SN-01420, 2301-SN-01777, 2301-SN-05815 cases still unresolved - March 30 we received an e-mail solving the delayed flight issue on a claim from Dec 2022 they even resolved partial claim on list luggage however since then weve gone back to the lengthy painful mediocrity of no replies to emails on the two last open claims but what is very strange is the fact that a claim will be partially handled ??? Here is the email we sent at least 10 times We have not heard back from Brussels Airlines regarding claims for our delayed/lost luggage. As you know we are claiming both luggage delays as our luggage were delayed one for more than 5 days and the other one for more than 21 days respectively . Under the Montreal Convention, passengers are entitled to compensation and airlines are liable and responsible to compensate passengers in case of luggage delays after 5 days and plus. We hope to hear back from you with an update on both cases as weve sent many emails .

Flight cancelled - No information given

I called Brüssel Airlines to rebook my cancelled flight but they keep telling me the system is not working. This is clearly a strategy to delay people from rebooking their flights. I will contact their customer service via email and if their reply remains the same, legal action will follow. The airport is on strike but the passengers cant be ones to pay for this event. The company is obliged to give a solution to its passengers.

Put me on schengen routes when. I booked with a Zimbabwean passport and British permanent residence

I booked tickets with Brussels Airlines. Manchester to Johannesburg via Zurich then Johannesburg to Manchester via Frankfurt. On day of travel they put an additional transfer of Brussels that needed a visa that I did not have. I had to pay £1000 extra for them to remove the Brussels connection which they could have removed without this herendous amount. They don't answer emails nor calls and to top it up I did not get my suitcase!

Claims from Dec 28,2022 still no resolution - useless customer service representatives absolutely lack I g professionalism might be trying their best to be polite but absolute No HELP to clients with that being said be aware that you will NEVER speak to a human being that can solve your issue and if you are somehow luck the best you get is one response email after 70 exchanges which again is useless because they ask for all documents to support your claim which you gladly se d because now you have hope this will be solved only for Brussels airlines to again ghost you the worst part is I never chose to fly with this company and I will recommend that you do NOT use unless you have three months or more to waste on trying g to fix THEIR wrongdoings also it might be a commercial tactic so customers get fed up and forget about their claims but they are dealing with the wrong person because NOT ONlY do I have time but I will take it all the way even if it means bringing this yo court
