We traveled to Scotland on 6/19/2023 for our 50th anniversary. Our flight to London Heathrow was cancelled, and we were forced to stay in the Airport, no hotel voucher provided. Missed our connect to EDI and forfeited a Hotel fee. Our bags were lost for 4 days and 7 days, with very poor communication regarding recovery. We filed a claim on 6/30/2023 and have not had any communication except our claim is closed. Unable to speak with anyone, always being directed to the Website. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Looks like we will have to get a lawyer and use social media to get British Airline's attention.

Cancellation of flight by BA

I was to travel to Heathrow on the 4th of July ( Friday) at 10.30 am appro. I would like to know WHY the flight was suddenly cancelled 6 days prior to flying.

Lost item

My daughter left something precious to her on ba flight 2239 today and wend we realised we tried contacting anyone at ba for help but could not get any successful or meaningful help. I just need help contacting lost and found for ba flights in trinidad.

Resolved: Bad customer service

I wasn’t able to to get a sooner date to flight without an extra $900. However i was allowed to pick a later date for next year to use this ticket for my next vacation.

Since I really need to head over I am probably have to book with another airline to get there asap and ask a full refund here. I can’t keep waiting on them.

So far still waiting, they keep telling me to send out all the documents and wait 24H. While I already did that multiple times.

Every time I call they ask me to send the doctor letter again and to wait another 24H. This is the 3rd time now they’re telling me to wait until tomorrow.

While the letter clearly shows my sister is in the hospital and that it’s an urgent matter. They simply do not care.

My sister abroad is in a coma :(! I live in the US and called 20 times and sent them everything they asked me to from doctors letters etc. They would always have another excuse why it is not possible to change my flight sooner. Horrible airline. Monday I called and we are Thursday now. All they are saying is sent the email again like what - I have 3 different incident reports now about the same thing. Still no flight change. It is the first and last time booking with them.

Stuck at Heathrow and couldn’t check in

I took the train down from Edinburgh because I had indefinite plans due to ill relative. Got to Heathrow several hours before flight. Theres one coffee shop in the pre-security area. I thought airlines liked passengers who had plenty of time. Apparently not. Im disabled and couldnt check in nor check my bag.

They cancelled our flights three times for the same trip.

I booked a flight for my family of four back in Jan 2,2023 for a trip abroad in mid June. In May, I received an email saying all 4 flights were cancelled. I called and got them reinstated. It was due to an IT issue. In June, it happened again and I called an got them reinstated again. 48 hours before our flight, I receive another email but this time BA cancelled just my younger sons and my flight. I call, it took hours of calling back due to the high volume of calls. They couldnt reinstate our flight and we would have to look for another day to travel. I saw on line that there were seats available on the original flight in coach so I asked if we could have those. But due to protocol they couldnt let us downgrade from our economy plus seat status. We ended up flying out days later on a different flight from my husband, older son and friends. So disappointed with BA. They created so much anxiety with the multiple cancellations, then they failed to solve the problem even though they created the problem. I feel like it couldve been such an easy fix letting us downgrade. We would have preferred not losing days with our family and friends. We dont travel a lot, this trip was carefully planned out way in advance with several families.

Unprofessional and inconsiderate behaviour

Worst experience ever! Canceled my flight last minute amid my long international flight. The next flight they rebooked for me has a 10 hour waiting time. This is so unprofessional!! Choose another airline in future.

Visa requirement

We have booking on BA for 21 July travel from Hyderabad to Newark. There is a change of plane at Heathrow airport arriving into terminal 5 and again departure to Newark from terminal 5. Do we require a UK visa

AWFUL customer service.

Miserable customer service. We booked a flight early in the year and PAID EXTRA for the choice of seating, wanting more legroom. When we flew, April 12th, PDX-LHR, the flight was delayed due to late incoming aircraft. At the last moment we got notification that the seating had been re assigned, to seats that were at a different location. These were one row back from the bulkhead and very uncomfortable - they really pack the economy class cabin. The cabin crew apologised and said it was because of a change of aircraft - the seating arrangement did not reflect the diagram on the website. So I requested a refund through the BA postal. No repsonse except for an automated email. Chased twice and was tokld that they were "very busy" at that moment. I eventually, got an email denying refund because "we got the seats we paid for" This is UNTRUE. I responded that this was the case and was denied again. I really can't believe it. This is not customer service. I will take this further until I'm heard. I KNOW WHAT SEATS I BOOKED AND WHERE WE WERE EVENTUALLY SEATED.

Baggage still not received

Its been 6 days I reached my destination, my baggage still not received. Im very dissatisfied with British airways. There are many other concerns regarding the travel. Very poor service

Lost luggages -Confirmación 4I5C4Q

To who it may concern My name is Aaron Ramirez DOB 05/12/1991. Me, my wife, infant daughter, and 4 year old son started traveling with British Airways on 12/13/2022 from Vegas to London with a connecting flight to Venice at 5pm and checked in 3 luggages( Airline Confirmation 415C4Q) When we got to the gate we where told we had an hour delay, eventually after an hour and 30 mins we finally took off landing at Heathrow airport on the date 12/14/2022 around 4pm, we had to stay in the aircraft due to no one being at the gate to open aircraft doors. Due to those delays we missed our connecting flight to Venice. British airways then booked a different flight for my wife, my 4 year old son and 6 month old daughter and myself for Frankfort Germany @815pm with a connect flight to Venice at 11:25am 12/15/2022 . Never once offering a hotel or any type of accommodations for my family. I had to spend the night in a hard floor with all my family in extremely cold Germany (which by the way got my infant daughter and son sick do to the cold weather and not having the proper clothing for such extreme climate) at 3am 12/15/2022 we got a message saying the flight to Venice LH326 was canceled and reschedule again to Frankfurt to munich LH114 at 5:15pm with a connecting flight to Venice at 9:45pm on 12/15/2022. At this point I decided to pay extra to have my family stay at the Frankfurt lounge since my family was extremely tired spending $170 dls. AGAIN at 3pm 12/15/2022 I got another message from the airline that my flight was cancelled and reschedule for a flight at 5:50pm from Frankfurt to Zurich Switzerland with a connecting flight to Venice Carrier LX flight number 1660 at 7:20am 12/16/2022 at the point we had been at the airport for 38 hours! NO ACCOMMODATIONS, NO SYMPATHY FOR THE CONDITIONS THAT MY FAMILY HAD BEEN THROUGH. My children where extremely upset do to the horrid conditions and not been able to sleep properly, my parents had enough and decided to rent a car and drive over horrible weather for 6 1/2 hours to Zurich airport to pick me and my family up. We drove to straight to Venice airport arriving at 7am on 12/16/2022 to see about luggage!!! Of course my luggage was not there so I made a lost claim report. Today is 12/20/2022 and I still have no luggage no clothes from my children or wife!!! My infant daughter formula (which we had to buy Italian formula that is causing her stomach issues) I have called several numbers, chats with no luck. This has destroyed our vacation, I had train tickets to go to Rome for 12/16 and I had to miss that because of all this, I had to check in at our Airbnb as well and I had to cancel it was well because I missed my train. Airbnb was 2k, our train ticket was 287 dollars. 1500 dólares on a rental car for our trip that due to all this mess was not used. Due to all this hardship that has STILL NOT BEING RESOLVED I am asking you reimburse all my expenses for this trip. That is the least that British Airlines can do for ruining our trip that was planned for a year in advance not to mention my kids Christmas gift is still lost with our luggage somewhere in Europe.
