Brilliant download is a scam.When I was searching for a certain download, their website claimed to have it. After paying $50.00 I was redirected to their home page and after searching for the title I was expecting they had, it sent me to a google search. I contacted their customer service and now nothing. They lied to get my credit card info. Reason of review: Item did not exist as advertised. Monetary Loss: $50. Preferred solution: Full refund. I need much this money, i am unemployed and still lost this money in this moment is boring, i was a *** idiot, not search about this site, only trust, i should know this ***

Pagati i 5€ per la membership. Dopo due giorni mi vengono prelevati inspiegabilmente 100€ dallo stesso conto per mezzo di brilliant download. Non ci sono file da scaricare.! {{Redacted}} Ho contattato l’assistenza e se nn avrò indietro i miei soldi faccio denuncia e proseguo con la revoca e con i provvedimenti seri finché questo sito chiude.

Overcharged and no refund
They charged me twice for my membership. Then, they denied the refund and stopped my service. I think they are *** and irresponsible. They even said my subscription was canceled so no more charge. After this email, I was charged another 100 dollars. The following pictures are about my problem. The left one shows that they stopped my service. The right shows that they charged me twice. Now, I want the money back since they have stopped my service. But they are really reluctant to give my money back. In their policy, I even see that the customers can get a full refund within 27 days after the membership extension. I bought the one-day service and it was auto upgraded. They told this is the policy. I checked the policy and found the refund policy. The third picture is the picture from their website. What I want is to get my refund. Please help me.

I was a victim this morning when 100 dollars was taken from my credit card stating that I made a hardware purchase with this Company. They authorised themselves to take my money without permission and we are allowing our Banks to assist in this fraudalent behaviour by keeping silent and turning a blind eye. I am a law student and was downloading a law document from Google when I was interrupted with the above Company. Can someone please shut this Company Down before we have further Victims and Yes it is a crime. It is FRAUD and we need to educate the Vulnerable Public because as a Law student, I am horrified at this behaviour.

Scam do not use
I registered looking for a certain download - then when I logged in I could not find the download and decided that I will email support and ask them why I couldn't find something that in search they said they had it. I received no reply and since when I registered they were offering a special price I emailed support saying I want to cancel. Note that you cannot find a cancel button anywhere in there system.I received this message at that time 'DL Customer Care Jan 24 (3 days ago) Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. Your subscription has been canceled. No further charges will be made. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further assistance.' the worst part is that I believed them and today they charged me the full 38.98 Euro amount of the monthly subscription. I had to call my bank and Cancel the card today - according to my bank the charges are made from a location in Azerbaijan by the way I hope that people will stay away from these scammers

These people did not get any money out of me because I was really quick in cancelling my card but did manage to inconvenience me considerably. It's all a scam and Google must take its share of the blame for taking their money and letting them continue with their thieving scam. That is aiding and abetting by anyone's standards. I should have looked for the padlock in the address bar of the browser, but on this occasion forgot. Is there anything worse than these ***? They hide behind the internet while praying on the weak and vulnerable and consider it to be good work and a job well done. James Murray.

BEWARE : The not so Brilliant Download scam !
Like others it seems, I registered for the 3 day free trial and cancelled my subscription on the cusp of expiry. Brilliant Download then stole a full year sub from my credit card details and 30 days later, despite four letters to their Mr Jeff Beck at their so-called Customer Care . .I received a form-letter reply saying I will receive a refund within 10 - 15 days but have still had no refund . .now a month ago!! BEWARE of a hungry beast with no conscience. . .and spread the word to friends to beware of this so-called service. If you register and don't cancel it is probably ok . .but if you wish to cancel within the given time . .LOOK OUT for a withdrawal from your bank account .!!

ONCE YOU ARE MEMBER YOU'LL NEED TO BLOCK YOUR CREDIT CARD, so they wont able to take more money. Be aware that all the thigs that they say that you can get is not true. Clever scammers, I was redirected from another site called download genius to brilliant download. The site look similar but different logo. There are no customer contact numbers, no addresses, no support. Basically the scammers charge the card as many times as they want, until you file fraudulent charges. They are scammers who will never contact you. They just collect money into their accounts. They will probably sell your name and your information to other scammers. So dispute immediately! My guess it is a server in a rented apartment that moves constantly from one location to another. Definitely a cat and mouse game for authorities to catch the scammers. However well played by the scammers.

I am very upset with this Brilliant Download! This is because their way of doing business is very dishonest! At the beginning, I only ordered their promotional version which costs $1.99, but then it automatically converted to the normal version costs $39.95 without my consent and without giving me any notification in their first message, although then they stated it follows their terms and conditions! Fine, I accept this arrangement and asked for my subscription terminated in the subsequent months and they did it! However, THEY Even STOP PROVIDING ME WITH THEIR FREE DOWNLOADING SERVICE THIS MONTH WITH NO RETURN OF THE $39.95 which they charged me earlier! The scenario is, when I logged into my account, the State column under the Members Area at their homepage indicated "unpaid” and this prevent me from directly downloading movies from their catalogue! Apart from it, the extra software they provided me for further searching is also unable to log in with the same username and password I registered with them! (Which they told me to log in with the same username and password) By rights, I should be entitled with their free download service after paying that amount of money, but they stop my deserved Privilege this month! Fine, I accept this arrangement and asked for the refund! But you know what they did then? They replied countless time with the same message as below "Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. Your subscription has been canceled. No further charges will be made. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further assistance. " I then check with my bank several times and was told the transaction is still on, unless this Brilliant Download returns the money! So Guys, Be aware of this kind of dishonesty, Be aware of this dishonest merchant like Brilliant Download ! I feel upset for so easy to click their link and suffer from this kind of monetary loss ! Brilliantdownload.com is THE WORST
This website is a complete scam. Don't waste $3.00 like I did. It is very misleading and does not actually have free downloads as it advertises. Rather, it only redirects you to google to pay for downloads on other websites like you would have anyways. They also will charge you over $30 within three days after signing up and there's no way to contact the company except via email. I am still waiting to hear back from them to cancel my membership.

Brilliant Download Is A Scam
Brilliant Download said a book I was looking for was available to download. I had to pay $3 and I could download is, when I paid the $3 they then said it wasn't available and the support is offline. I live in Mexico and this book is not available in English. I presumed as it was a secure website it was safe. I really really really hope they don't sell my name, address, credit card details and birth date on to dodgy people....but presumably that is inevitable.... What an *** I was to sign up. Don't sign up!

Brilliant download is a scam. When I was searching for a certain ebook, their website claimed to have it. After paying $3.00 I was redirected to their home page and after searching for the title I was expecting they had, it sent me to a google search. I contacted their customer service and was told that their website shows items that were once available by other websites. They lied to get my credit card info. They clearly stated in the beginning that I could download the book I needed now. They refused to return my payment. I know it was only $3.00 but it is still infuriating.
