BIG MISTAKE

Updated by user Apr 14, 2023
Have not heard a darn thing even after I emailed my review to them !!!

Original review Mar 15, 2023
Never go to a Bright Now dentist it's like going to a fast food drive thru. I mistakenly reviewed them on their website about how I was glad I found them because the dentist and the technician at that visit were very nice but oh how I wish I posted the review after I went for my 2nd visit. That first visit was all kinds of misleading. The work I had done on my 2nd visit was all for nothing the "filling" put on one tooth actually fell out and I have NEVER had something like that happen to me in all my 58 years !! I had a chipped tooth that he allegedly filled or fixed or said he did and NOTHING was done. The technician who was doing the "work" on my teeth made it very clear he needed to be out of the office by 5:00 and it was 4:48 when he made that announcement to the staff across the office !! Rude as rude could be and as far as the office staff I attempted several times to rectify a billing error that their office claimed was fixed. When IO made the appointment I made sure they took my insurance and I was in network and covered and they assured me over and over it will be fixed. Lo and behold months later I come to find out NOTHING was done nor did my insurance pay the claims because I was out of network ?? I then sent emails to some office on their website hoping somebody from another office would reach out to me to get this fixed and again NOTHING no respone no email back I have had it with trying to get it resolved if I had really read previous reviews on that office I would have thought twice about going there but I was in so much pain I needed to be seen. This establishment is a joke the real dentis t office I ended up going to said they get a lot of patients who had work allegedly done at a Bright Now Facility.

Mandatory deep cleaning

I had an appointment to get my teeth cleaned.I walked into the office the lady said unless I do a deep cleaning they refuse to do a teeth cleaning. Are the dentist forcing us to do deep cleaning. Is it mandatory with the dentist that we do a deep cleaning even if we don't want to

Billing issue

I had full coverage to pay for my services in full. Every time they did something they checked to make sure insurance covered it. all I had done was yrly x-rays and a cleaning. Well the office billed my insurance to the wrong place. when it was finally caught by their staff and rebilled, it was past the 3 months allowed by the insurance company, insurance refused to pay. I filled a appeal with the insurance, that's how I found about the billing error. Bright Dental keeps harassing me to pay the bill. I have been over and over this issue with them for over a year now. I have told them straight up am not paying the bill, your error, figure it out... take me to court or just right it off, it's $162.00. I will never be back at one of their locations. First time and last!!!!!!

Update to situation.

Bright Now gave me an appointment for tomorrow and they have agreed to fix my tooth and do another procedure at no cost to me, which is really wonderful and generous of them. I am very happy with their willingness to work with me to come to an amicable resolution. That's what it is all about. They were very kind, courteous and patient with me. I left a message last night when I was really upset and I should have waited until I was calmed down to do that. I didn't say anything horrible, but I was crying and upset and they really did not need to hear that. I will post again as to the final outcome of this matter.

Resolved: BOTCHED FRONT TOOTH - YOUR DENTIST RUINED MY FRONT TOOTH AND I AM VERY ANGRY

Updated by user May 27, 2022

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement. No only did they fix the front tooth, but they extended services to me at no charge.

They were more than fair, kind and understanding. A standup business that I will definitely return to..

I had an appt. today at your Sacramento Office on Watt Ave and the dentist was supposed to fix my front tooth which was chipped. He was supposed to repair it so that it looked like my other teeth. He ended up drilling and grinding it to half of its' size and now it looks worse than it did before I trusted him to fix it for me. I trusted your dentist to repair my front tooth and now it looks ridiculous. I am so angry I don't even know what to say to you right now. I trusted you. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!! First of all, I am not going to pay you for this so I want a full refund. But it would be better if someone could fix this mess because if not, I am going straight to the dental board and the State Consumer protection agency and show them what happened. I should have known when he did not give me the mirror to look at the end results that things were not good. They always give you the mirror so you can see how it looks. He failed to do that and now I know why. The dental assistant even commented to the dentist about how it was too short. He cut my tooth in HALF!!!! He ruined it. It is my front tooth. How am I going out into public like this? Somebody needs to call me back and I really hope you have a remedy for me because if I have to go find someone else to repair this, I am going to make sure there is misery for everybody - not just me.

Billing concerns

Updated by user Apr 27, 2022
After talking to main office the best they could offer was the account was being audited.

Original review Mar 28, 2022
I've given these people all the eob that has been provided to me and they still are having trouble straightening out my bill. They got paid by my insurance company and have billed me twice for what they already got paid. This has been ongoing situation since last September. I've spent at least 40 hours on this issue. What more needs to be done??

Not finishing their work and over pricing pocketing money

Every time I went I would have enough for what was quoted and every time they "under quote me" and I would end up paying 3 times more than quoted" and I would have to pay more and more out of pocket. My care credit was also maxed out and my teeth are still not done. The last time the overpriced me, My husband and mother-in-law came with me and got into the billing lady's *** Because of that, the billing lady now try to say my work was completed and that my family and I are no longer allowed there. But corporate didn't know. I did call and report to my insurance and the last appointment I had with them before the billing lady said I can't go there anymore, a person from my insurance was there maybe auditing them. My doctor was a sweet woman who wanted to fix my teeth. The ladies at the front desk also were nice to me. Funny how I call out the billing lady on over charging Me and pocketing money, I had 2 more appointments after, the last appointment they wanted me to make a future appointment, but I said I'd wait until January when my insurance restarted. I waited called, lady at the front desk was sweet making my appointment and I said "can you please make sure that what work needs to be done is still $800?" She said "sure hang on a second" then the billing lady got on the phone and started telling me I'm banned from there along with my family, and she bashed my husband to my mother-in-law, HIS MOTHER, because she thought it was my mother! This place is a very prejudice place. I had no problems until I went in with my wedding ring (which is $10,000) and went in without my Hispanic mother-in-law. That's when it all went bad with that billing lady. I would never recommend bright now dental. Not even to my worse enemy. I do hope and pray all the actual good dentist and good office people in that place find a better dentistry office to be at. My picture is what the billing lady called finished work.

Complaint

Had an appointment to have impressions made. The in writing price out of pocket was $460. When I got to the appointment they said it was $760. The whole staff especially the doctor (Lampert) was unprofessional. This was a bait and switch situation taking advantage of someone who is in pain with dental problems caused by cancer

Resolved: No action on the part of the company

Updated by user Nov 27, 2021

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. they finally realized their mistake and dropped the issue. now i can go else where..

Updated by user Oct 27, 2021
today I spoke with the billing office and I was told that my balance is now zero. and I asked why, she said the issue had been resolved and to disregard the letter.

so I asked her does that mean Bright Now Dental wants nothing to do with me and she said no not at all and for me to make an appointment. but why should I have to make an appointment they know I'm waiting for them to find a surgeon to extract my teeth and install the dentures they have already made.

Original review Oct 26, 2021
they agreed to take care of my dental problem. they pulled a couple of teeth and have done nothing for three months or so. the dentures have been sitting at their office. now they are hounding and demanding that I pay them in full, I called their office about this issue and they said they would get back to me, but so far no contact.I am an entertainer and I need to look my best and right now I'm ashamed to smile.

Unecceptable poor quality of care at Black Lake Location in Olympia Washington

Poor service, poor quality of dental care and complete lack of compassion for patients. Horrible experience.

Issue with appointments being cancelled

Original review Mar 08, 2021
Dental office repeatedly has set appointments and then when I arrive for then told me that I have to reschedule because they don't have a dentist available. How can a dentist office not have a dentist available? And each time they reschedule me they assured me that next time for sure I'd be seen. What is going on here? The only reason I haven't gone elsewhere is that I have a credit of over $400 with this office from a previous overcharge.

Unresolved accounting issues

I am having major issues trying to resolve some issues with my son's account. This location needs to be watched. The add some charges onto your account and when you question them they first start with bullying tactics and then when you persist they just refuse to respond to the queries. My son financed some dental work, the dental insurance paid some of it which at first this dental office would not credit to the account. After some requests it was allocated. Then in December he went for the crown and they never submitted the account to the dental insurance. After some more nagging they sent it and the dental insurance paid. The contract price was $600 less than what we were billed. Instead of adjusting the bill accordingly, she added another charge of $412 to the bill. For more than a month now my son has been trying to resolve this. Now she is ignoring the requests for clarification and insists that my son finances another $600. She also demands that my son, who does not have a license or car, must see her in person where no doubt she will be bullying him into accepting the charge as she always does. He does not want the confrontation. We only want the account to be accurate.

"Emergency" services suck

I broke a tooth at 8pm on Saturday night. (Second to last bottom left, cracked right in half but still connected) I called at 8:14am Monday morning to schedule an emergency appointment. I had not yet used my dental coverage that was newly active as of 10/01/2020. My appointment was scheduled for noon. As I was walking across the parking lot to my appointment, they called me to say I hadn't been "assigned" to their dentist by my insurance and that I needed to "call them real quick" to get assigned. I've now been on hold with insurance for 1 hour and 18 minutes. I asked the receptionist why the *** i hadn't been told to do this this morning when the appt was scheduled and she responded with "we were so slammed this morning". No. Being busy is NOT an excuse for not doing your job. I tried to reschedule since I could be on the phone for hours and was told next available appt isn't for 2 more days. This is RIDICULOUS.
