I am very upset with this law firm. I was represented by them all of last year, It was like pulling teeth with them with the back and forth. My lawyer had me looking crazy. I had no real help from my lawyer and my ex-wife's lawyer did all the talking. Her lawyer bossed my lawyer around in front of me. I had no real communication or feedback from them, only invoices. They were quick to charge me and Nickle and dime without real progress. I am extremely disappointed because my lawyer didn't really step up. Mr. Pritchard sounded like he was going to be the person handling my case and I ended up with a person who looked more tired and sleepy. I tried talking to the paralegal assigned to my case about documents that were never submitted, and she blew me off. In fact, said that I told her that i didn't need their services. Yeah, you damn right, because I was getting tired of being charged without any progress. I quit them a whole month later after I had explained that I need a document pushed up. They sent the wrong thing up, and now I have to get a modification done to the existing order because they screwed that up. The documents they put together were not even proofread. I did the work for them. A simple spell check would have worked. I felt that I was overcharged. They kept blaming my Ex wife on how she was difficult. *** the documents they use were expired but still managed to go through with the order. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone, Ever. I lost $15,000+ taking their advice. My mother had past away the year before and here I was in the middle of a divorce stressed out. On top of that they left me hanging and as a result my child support and alimony is attached and I can only fix it by going through the court. I paid my EX a whole year and now alimony is on there. Thanks, Mr. Pritchard and team... P.S. Military discount is for the birds with them... If you don't mention it, they will screw you on that too. It's all about the money with them.

Never retained a lawyer before but Brett Pritchard law firm has to be the worst
I am not happy with this law firm at all. I am currently represented by them and I have seen no results at all. I get no communication back, only invoices. I am extremely disappointed. I have no idea what’s going on with my case. I would not recommend this firm to anyone, ever.

If you retain this firm. You will not receive any information on your case through out the duration. Plus after you have no idea whats going on in your case they will take all your money.

Worst service ever
We paid 2500 just to go to court ona child support modification. The 1st time we wnt it was set off so we never got to go to court, the second time we went he decided to file a motion which sld of been done althe very first time. After all that he wanted to charge us 1500 more to go do the motion. There was never any comminication and hardley seen the attorney not to mention they charge u every time u call there office.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
I flew to TX from VA twice to hire them to take my case. (Between November of 2017 and April 2018 )I even hand brought all the files from VA for them and they kept saying they would call me. Brett's secretary made 3 appointments for him to call me to discuss. Brett failed to make all three appointments. Not to mention he missed the appointment that I had with him the second time I went to bring them all of my files!!! After that they never even tried to call me back. I have called them numerous times to have them call me and leave messages and ...crickets!!! Save your time, money and headaches and call somebody else!!!

They took 8000 of my money and then withdrew from my case because I called too many times asking for better communication. Brett himself seems super caring but hung up on me supposedly by accident, and never called back. Elizabeth the front desk lady doesn’t have a clue at what she is talking about and so gets an attitude when you call her out on her not doing her job. She then just doesn’t pick your call up once she sees it on the caller Id. I since have got another attorney and they say they have to rescue many of Brett’s clients because they leave you hanging. He’s money hungry and makes up things to make sure to utilize all your money. I paid all my bills before they were due and they still hounded me for payment. They are all very full of themselves and speak only on what makes them look good. They could careless about my concerns they reset all the time because they aren’t prepared to represent you. I truly went by reviews and they must find friends to do it for them cause again the more I spoke to people about my experience the more I realized they just want money and could careless to work and more and more of the public sees this as well. They bad mouth every attorney you bring up and claim they win every case even against carol prater. They have to actually show up to court to do this

DO NOT HIRE BRETT PRITCHARD! Brett Pritchard is incompetent and I do not recommend anyone hires him. Ove the years, Brett Pritchard has taken advantage of military people by making them believe he can win their cases. He also inflates the bills and charges excessive amount of money for any phone call, text, or question. At the end, he falls short in properly representing you. His firm takes no action an anything and fails to file with the court. He talks a good game in front of you but fails to deliver every time! DO NOT HIRE BRETT PRITCHARD! DO NOT HIRE HIM!

I need to tell anyone interested that my attorneys, Brett Pritchard and Ryan Lawton, were not only professional, competent and patient, they were compassionate and that quality sets them apart in the world of law. These gentlemen not only got custody for me, they got child support and retroactive back pay! Mine was a long and painful custody battle with multiple lawyers involved. So when Brett told me what would happen, I had suspicions. He assigned Mr. Ryan Lawton and told me Ryan was good - Mr. Lawton was better than good, he was great! I am thankful to God that there are still honest lawyers out there. My family highly recommends this law firm for their legal needs. Thank you Brett, Ryan and all your wonderful staff! Brett Pritchard is a liar and a thief. He didn't even know what my case was about after 10 months! When I confronted him about it, he got whiny and dropped me as a client keeping my money and leaving me out to dry. His billing clerk, Rebecca, is a snake who will first ignore you, and then call you a liar. His paralegal, Jessica was apparently too caught-up in her wedding plans to do any work on my case. They treated me as though I were the enemy. I found no representation, only a whole lot of regret, here. Please, find an ethical lawyer that cares for you and your case.

Brett Pritchard Law Firm - Attorney Review
My husband paid a retainer to have Mr. Prichard take care of a back child support issue. After his office sent a letter to the Attorney General wiout receiving a reply I had to call and ask what was going on and was told they would send a second request. Now 8 months later we have sent at a minimum of 25 requests to refund our unused credit balance, and was finally told after being lied to multiple times that we need to go to his office to pick up a check to no avail AGAIN! The rude lady in his office stated he was out of town and he has all checks. Again I sent 2 texts to him with no reply! Anyone that attempts to us this guy needs their head examined, he is the most useless, unethical, perfect example of what the public sees in all Attourney's and politicians!!!

Great attorney
I had a issue with a name change and Mr. Pritchard was a great attorney . He was very effective in getting to a batched case from the 1970..... Had a attorney there in Texas was to do a name change , we went to court with the hearing and the name was to have been changed . Finding out over thirty (30) years later he had not completed the case and no documents were finished nor filed in the court . Needless this came as a shock to me since for years this has been my name for everything . Know I find out it was not properly done . Wow !!!! What a shock that was If you ever need anything he is prompt , very professional and utmost the best for your case . I could have not asked for a better attorney

Worse Service I have Ever Reveived
On 19 Feb 2016, I signed a contract to initiate a legal action with the Law Office of Brett H. Pritchard and paid the firm $1,500 retaining fee. For approximately a month, I attempted to receive an update by placing over 10 phone calls and 15 electronic correspondence and all ended without success. On 20 April 2016, I personally delivered a letter of dissatisfaction to the law firm and was informed that no action has been taken on my case. For the following couple of weeks, I attempted to receive update to find if they started my case and, again, without success. On 11 May 2016 I personally delivered a letter to discharge of their service and requested my retaining fee back. As soon as I walked out of the office Brett Pritchard called me and informed me that they did failed to do anything with my case and he will refund my money. I waited for three weeks and there was no refund on my credit card. When I tried to stop payment on the card, he reinstated it.

Had a HORRIBLE experience. Hired him in Oct 2014 to file for divorce...he NEVER did. My ex filed on me 3 months later. He is a horrible, lazy, sloppy attorney that lacks integrity. Could never get a call back from him actually had to go into the office with no appointment just to get a response and that is $50 for a walk in appt. Being i was in Afghanistan when i wanted to file and didnt come back til 6 months after absolutely nothing got done til I got home (I guess that saved me more walk in fees and phone call fees). He never showed in the courtroom for my ONE AND ONLY court appearance and intead sent another lawyer from his firm that smelt like a brewery.The only reason i got what i did in my divorce is because my ex didnt want it. He did NOTHING for me and charged and talks like he saved the day. I was then told they would do the divorce decree for all the problems i had....and they did...but charged me for EVERY call or email to check on it (over 3 months ago i was divorced so it added up) as well as any contact made with the opposing counsel. He also called and YELLED at me for saying i was upset by his representation and i thought his billing was ridiculous because he said he was covering it ( I guess that is *** lawyer talk for let me get more money out of you while i tell you i am doing something free of charge for you). Horrible waste of a licence to practice law. DO NOT HIRE if you want actual representation.
