Rude Iwner

Do not buy any puppies from this place! They get their puppies from puppy mills that practice inbreeding. The owner was rude when I called him with concerns about both Boxer puppy's tails not healing correctly. I took them to the Vet and was told the tails were done incorrectly and needed to go to a vet surgeon to correct them. One pup whines all day and tries to bite his tail, which is red and irritated. The pups are 15 weeks old, and bobbed tails are not healing. My biggest regret is buying puppies from this place because their get their pups from puppy mills; I won't make that mistake again!! They were in cages for so long that their paws were crooked, and they had trouble walking when we got them home. The pics below are proof of my complaints. On a side note: I had several Boxers pups before and never had problems with aggression like I am experiencing with the puppies from Breeder's Pick.

Sick dog

My dog, wheaten Scottish terrier, is in the emergency room right now and we need explanation, we’ve had him 2 weeks, we went to the free visit vet for a check up and shots. We couldn’t do it because he had diarrhea and was throwing up. So they gave us medications to help him.... nothing helped and now he’s in the emergency room for an over night stay. So I need an explanation or compensation for this because I’m very big on social media and I need an explanation for our baby.

Happy customer

I purchased a t cup chihuahua from Breeders Pick , she weighs 2.9 Lbs . She is now 12 years old and very healthy . I never had any health issues with her . She has been the joy of my life. Just what the doctor ordered . She's is still spunky for a twelve year old. Loves her toys and treats . . I hope Josie lives many more years . Puppies are like children . They are prone to illness as they are young and developing Their amune systems . When purchasing a dog people need to understand this . There are just some things out of breeders and pet dealers hands . I was very satisfied . Would do business with this company again.

Poor treatment of puppies.

My husband and I stopped in to look for a puppy. large dogs were in kennels with much smaller dogs. A lager dog grabbed a small dog by the neck and pinned it down on the floor. The small dog kept yelping and screaming out a blood curdling scream as the dog kept viciously attacking it. The owner and employees looked from a distance and laughed as I asked if the owner planned on breaking the mauling up. his comment was "no blood was drawn". I went over andbanged on the cage to break it up. That was what the owner should have done but was to lazy and insensitive to do. It was horrible for the poor dog and Us.

Breeders Pick Customer Care Review from Orlando, Florida

My husband and I we're driving by it and decided to turn around and go inside. We should have kept going. The owner was rude and unhelpful. He claimed that he was closing even though the posted hours of operation indicated that we had almost an hour left. He decided to tell us what type of dog we should buy and the one he suggested looked sickly. There were multiple dogs in the same cages and it really smelled bad. I am aware that puppies generate smells but this odor was more on the urine end of the specturm. For us, it was too high of a price tag for a puppy that didn't appear to be properly cared for. We're going to find a local breeder instead; at least then we'll have a health guarantee.

Sold us a sick puppy mill dog.

Let's start out by saying I wish that I could give this owner and business 0 stars. I have wanted a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier for a few years now. BreedersPick was one of the places that came to mind because a friend had bought their puppy there years ago and had no problems. They must have just been lucky. We currently live an 1 hr away from Orlando, but I called BreedersPick to see if they had the breed I wanted. They had 1 available but he was 5 months old. I figured that since he was older, we wouldn't have to go through as much of the "puppy" stage, so I viewed this as a positive. We drove over there and visited the puppy. After we fell in love and were ready to buy, Angie, the co-owner, informed us that he was actually 6 months old. You think since she knew how far we were driving that she would have made sure about the facts of this puppy before we were there and about to buy the dog. For the misunderstanding, she did take a $50 off the dog. 1st Day after he came home we noticed a skin rash all over his body. SCWT are very hairy and we did not notice how bad the skin rash was until after we got him home. Since we were an hour away from the store we made an appt at a local vet, and BreedersPick informed us that we would not be paid for the visit. He ended up having a skin infection and went home with a spray and full course of antibiotics. Also, being 6 months old, you would expect that this puppy would know what grass was and how to go potty on grass instead of in his crate and all over your house. BreedersPick does not care about potty training puppies at all. I had to patiently wait and teach this puppy what grass was and to not potty inside, very hard to out train this after 6 months. We have had the dog for two months and he still cannot hold his *** overnight, mind you that I walk him every 1.5 hrs during the day and 11pm before we go to sleep, and wake up at 6am to walk him again. Two weeks after we took care of his skin infection, BOTH ears were infected! We took him to our vet again and found out that both ears were badly infected, AND he still chews spots on his skin to the point were he has no hair left there. In addition, our puppy has CONSTANT diarrhea with the food he came home with from Breeders pick. I have tried slowly switching him to the Chicken and Rice Nature's Variety Brand, and then finally recently started making homemade chicken and rice food and buying probiotics and a doggie multi vitamin for him. His diarrhea is better but he continually is scratching at his skin and never stops! He needs to be brushed twice a day just so his scratching doesn't cause knots all over his body. I know he has food allergies and am working towards a diet that he will tolerate better. But after spending $60 for 1 bag of food plus $30 for probiotics and $30 for vitamins, in addition to all the vet bills for his skin and ears this seems ridiculous that he has only been with us for two months. Now the part that really bugs me is that he is 8.5 months and is 23 pounds. He is GROSSLY underweight and very small. This IS a PUPPY MILL dog despite what the people who own Breeders Pick may portray on their website and what they tell you when trying to convince you that they are good people and work with breeders they have "known" for many years. The breed is supposed to be 40-45 pounds full grown. He is not putting on weight even after eating 2 cups of homemade food and 1.5 cups of dog food, and I yet again will have to pay vet bills to find out what is wrong with him. Breeders Pick also probably didn't make sure he was eating when young, so he didn't have the nutrients to grow. From my paperwork I Googled the "breeder" that he came from and there are lawsuits/complaints in place (BRANDI CHENEY USDA# 43-B-3698)because of the horrible conditions/ bc was a puppy mill!! So basically I paid a lot $ for a sick puppy, that will need a lifetime of Extra care, that is not anywhere close to breed standards, that I have to clean up after constantly because he was kept confined and allowed to ***/pee on himself. We filed a BBB Case against this business more information there. They misrepresented the quality!, breed (10 pounds under weight at least), and health of the puppy. They owe us the money that we paid for the puppy plus and vet bills.

Breeders Pick

Went to the location to look at their dogs, and the manger, possibly the owner was disrespectful and rude during my time in the store. Place was fairly clean, variety of dogs to choose from, however there is no need for rudeness and disrespect. It's a true reflection of how they want to run a business. Additionally, the papers that they request you to sign had errors and typos, which would be a nightmare for a lawyer. The contract also bound you to seeing a vet within two weeks that was just down the road or the contract would be void. If you lived an hour away, you had to drive back for the vet appointment. Also, the vet was listed on the Internet with having bad reviews-animals randomly died after being in their location. Not comforting to know after going, and makes you wonder why they are even connected together.
