Fair warning, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !

Paid close to $20k in 2017, to re-roof a metal building and, no exaggeration, it has leaked , and continues to leak, MORE since the new roof than it did before ! The rep I have dealt with all along has been back to our location at least a dozen times to attempt to fix various leaks and many times for the same leak ! The last time he was here he even had Skeeter, the owner of the business, with him to help him make the repair, and yet the roof continues to leak. Now, on top of the initial cost of the roof and the damages to personal property caused by the leaks, I will have to pay someone else out of pocket to make the repairs that Braun Roofing can't ! They replied to another of my reviews that they've done everything they can to make me happy ???? WTF ? You did everything ........EXCEPT stop the leaks THAT YOUR COMPANY CREATED ! Note: This post is to warn others so that they can make an informed decision. DO NOT be fooled by the BBB A+ rating that they somehow obtained. These are biased opinions that the business is paying for. Stick to the ratings on Google, Yelp, FB, etc. This is where the honest opinions are !

Installation of brand new roof

I sent in a request just now on your website for repair. Couldn't find e-mail contact. Your company installed a new roof at my location- 16614 Edward Teach Rd, Jamaica Beach, Tx 77554. The contractors CAUSED a leak. I had contacted you multiple times, and your man Rene did come out, the last contact ending with him telling me that he was retired. If you would send a reputable person out, I can show him the exact point of the leak. If I can figure this out, your expert will quickly see. I went with Brauns because I trusted the advertising of Randy Lemmon and Michael Berry, not to mention Skeeter being an Aggie. PLEASE CONTACT ME AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE AT: STAN MCCARTY 409 526-**** THANK YOU.

Worst customer service ever!

Had a complete roofing job on my house and garage in July 2012,went with this company because of the reasonable price and the 10 year warranty.Hurricane Harvey hit our area in September 2017.During the storm we noticed leaks in the house and garage.Right after the storm I tried to get in contact with the company to let them know about the situation but kept getting the run around till September 2018.The superintendent of the original job came out fixed the leak in the house and said he would send his crew to fix the garage in a couple of days.He finally showed up by himself in December 2018 got up on the garage and did a shotty repair, now having to get another roofing company to fix the mess these guys made.So much for there so called warranty.Stay clear of this company!

*** poor customer service!

Had a complete roof replacement due to hail damage in mid 2016. While putting some items in attic a wet area was seen on wood decking around furnace/AC. The leak was coming in where the exhaust from furnace exits. After talking to the salesman Craig, got a BS story about it being condensation, this was in July, furnace had not veen on in many months. Also noticed another leak where the exhaust from the water heater exits, sheetrock around the pipe was soaking wet. Salesman was rude and trying to say it wasnt due to workmanship. WORST ROOFING COMPANY IN THE ENTIRE CITY OF HOUSTON. A earning to others, avoid them at all cost!!!!!!

Braun's really bad service

My wife hired Braun's to fix a small leak in the roof. After multiple schedules, the guy came out and gave her an estimate of $425. This seemed high at the time to her, but she said okay. The guy then spent 20 minutes and when my wife asked for an itemized bill (= what was the $425 for), she was not given one. The roof started leaking again in the exact same spot. Now back from travels, I called them multiple times to no avail. I then reported to BBB and stated for a proper fix or our money back, and also an explanation for the $425. This finally realized contact. This time there were multiple issues with scheduling because the job would take two people to fix. Finally, after about a month, the same original guy comes back alone. He spent another 10 minutes, ironically stating that he should have done more the first time. I specifically asked for what the $425 was for -- the answer is that's what we charge. I have no idea whether the roof is fixed or not, but this truly about the worst customer service I have ever had, and I am over 50. This company should not be in business.

Worst Contractor Experience Ever

We hired this company based on its listing in Best Picks Reports in 2014. You must have to pay to get in that list because its not based on merit. Initial experience was good enough that I had them fix things on the roof that I later found out were not needed and to install larger gutters. Over a period of about a year and a half I probably spent over $5,000. I even recommended them to a neighbor who shared a common wall and gutter. The neighbor told me they would never hire them again. Beginning in early 2015, I noticed a leak in the overhang on my patio and called them in to fix it as it was coming from an area they previously said was fixed. It took several calls and many broken promises for arrival before they came. They finally came and said it was fixed but it continued to get worse. After more calls to the project manager and finally to the owner, they finally sent a team that again said it was fixed a few days before we went on vacation. Upon return a month later, I noticed the overhang was soaking went and falling apart (see picture). Again I called the project manager and emailed the owner, Skeeter, showing pictures and they said they would come and fix it but noone ever showed. Since the roof was falling in and spreading close to the main house, I had to call another roofer to get it fixed. The other roofer came immediately and pretty fixed by spending several hours (as opposed to the less than an hour long "fixes" that Braun did). I have recently asked Braun to reimburse me for those several thousand dollars worth of expenses since the leak should have been under warranty and created collateral damage to my house. Thus far, I have not received a response so I will likely take them to court in the next few weeks. Poor quality work, over charging, poor customer service-what else can I say except do not use this company for roofing repairs.

Brauns Roofing - Roofing Review from Spring, Texas

I had my leaky roof done by Brauns roofing last May. 2 days later it rained hard, find that my roof is still leaking, worst than before. I called their guy but I was told that they are busy but will try to send someone to check it, but nobody came. After a month long wait and with all this rain, the damage has been done to my wall. They will take on the job and your money quickly, but will take them forever to fix their screw up. You can't trust this people.

Do not hire Braun's Roofing!

WARNING: Do not use this roofer. Braun's replaced my roof almost three months ago, but did not finish the job on the patio cover and did a really shoddy job on the roof on my house. I wrote a letter to the owner of the company who did not respond until after I filed a complaint with the BBB. He promised to resolve the problems here, but they did not show or bother to call the week they were supposed to come. In the meantime, the roof has leaked and caused damage in three rooms in my house. I asked for a refund, but the owner wants another chance before a refund, even after he inspected the roof and could not find the problems causing the leaks. The insurance adjuster says the roof Braun's installed needs to be totally replaced. Arbitration through the Better Business Bureau is scheduled.

Courteous and professional

hey... nobody's perfect. i read a few of the negative reviews but there's more positive ones so i took a chance. In January there was a storm that came through and blew some shingle off. One of their contractor came out and took a look. My ins company decided to replace the entire roof although I only had a small portion damaged. I had a good experience because everything was finished in one day. and i was amazed at how clean they let my yard and landscaping. i'd never seen one of them magnetic nail picks but was happy they walked around the entire house and actually found a few nails. The crew was hispanic and very professional. No loud music. Nice guys.

Brauns Roofing Service Review

Horrible. Stay away from this shoddy company. Hired to fix a leak in April and roof still leaked. Their two other attempts at "warranty" work consisted of applying some caulk here and there. I attempted to resolve with the BBB and that was a joke Avoid business with this group at all cost!

Poor work, terrible customer service.

Brauns Roofing put on the wrong color drip edge and damaged our gutters. In itself not a big issue but, when asked to fix the damage, they got nasty. Not only were they not going to replace the drip edge or fix any of the damage but, they accused us of trying to get free gutters out of them. Most of the damage could be fixed by straightening however, two 10' sections had large dented areas that weren't fixable without replacement. It would have cost them less that $60.00 in materials to do it all but, rather than spend a few bucks, do the right thing and have a happy client, they chose the low road. Absolutely, rude, terrible customer service. I have no idea how they stay in business.

Brauns Roofing - Roofing Review from Houston, Texas

I hired Braun's Roofing weeks ago to repair a leak in a dead valley. I had other roofing quotes stating I needed a pan and flashing. Braun's salesman Bob Creech said that was not needed. I still had a leaky roof within a week. I made numerous calls and Mr. Creech always said he would come out and was a no-show. When I reached the owner Skeeter, he was rude, unapologetic and short. Mr. Creech finally appeared with a crew of three and used a hose on my roof which did nothing and left doing no more work. First rain came and I was up all night mopping up water. The following night I was up again mopping up water. I have continued to call Mr. Creech and he makes promises to come out then is a no show. He insisted he had to look inside the house but this revealed nothing. He now proposes to do additional work higher on the valley at an additional cost to me and ignore the 1 yr guarantee shown on my receipt with my payment of nearly $900. I gave contacted an attorney and will file a complaint with the BBB. Do NOT use this very unprofessional company. There are strong rains forecast this evening and I am standing by ready for another night of no sleep thanks to this group.

Braun Roofing Houston Shoddy Work

Braun Roofing replaced our roof in Feb 2009. Our roof has leaked since the day they replaced it, resulting in interior damage. I have made numerous phone calls and sent a certified letter to the owner. Calls are not returned and there has been no response to the letter. I followed all the guidelines advertised for selecting a reputable, local roofer and still got scammed. They gave me a warranty when they completed the job, but it is a worthless piece of paper. I will be forced to hire another roofer to do the job right and will have to sue Braun to get reimbursed. What a nightmare! Braun fraudulently displays the Roofers Contractors Association of Texas logo on their website, making it appear that they are reputable. They have not been a member of RCAT since 2002. They have an increased number of complaints filed against them on the BBB site ... many of them since the hurricane. Braun takes no pride in their work or their reputation and should get out of the roofing business and quit defrauding hurricane victims.
