Gone a scam email from a Zack Newman, "Client Development Manager", who a fishing and phishing about someone with a vaguely similar name, but with a completely different last name. "People are still Googling your name -- lets make sure they dont find this information"

Former client let people know what my experience was like
My business partners and I used the VIP service. It is handled by young and highly inexperienced college graduates. As some of the Glassdoor comments indicate these people know nothing about SEO. Its a horrible experience all around if you sign up for anything other than the very basic service. The somewhat mitigating factor is that this is a failed business model. You cannot provide quality service through inexperienced people questionable claims at fixing ones image. Save yourself the frustration and indignity of being lied to and insulted by young people you would never hire - not even as interns. Instead consider hiring a professional public relations firm with some real SEO experts. Sadly brandyourself despite venture money is not much more than mass retail meets back alley abortion clinic tactics so common in this slimy industry. Its just a money grab and a disgrace like many of their competitors. Their investors should be embarrassed.

I've used Brand Yourself for years. I was an early adopter and have been grateful. It helped keep me ahead of the curve in terms of personal branding and continued www environmental development. I really enjoy how it helps me learn the "why" behind how their system works, along with very clear instructions on steps along the way.

Professional and swift support in reputation management. Soon after signing up and choosing one of their packages, there was a follow-up call to help me navigate the options available on their website. I also received advice and support with regards to other services they provide that might interest me. I highly recommend it. Excellent value for money. Good personalised service.

The managers who work at the establishment are rude, condescending and don’t care about the customer. Once they make the sale, they act as they wish. Save yourself the headache!!

Sleazy company, don’t do any trial with them because they will manipulate bad search results to go to the top in order to coax you into using them. The problem is I can’t afford $649 per month so it doesn’t matter. I’ll just live with the search results.

Brandyourself helped me
I've been a Brandyourself customer for 8 months and I've already seen really good results. My negatives have moved to the bottom of page 2 and they created a lot of great, new content for me so far. Their people have been really helpful too. I'm not a sales person for them but I can definitely recommend them and have to a couple friends. I spoke to reputation defender (reputation.com) and guaranteed removals but decided to go with Brandyourself because of their transparency during the whole process. I paid $7k+ but it's more than worth it and I have peace of mind knowing what people will see when they search me online. I got a better paying job and I couldn't be happier.

Can't seem to cancel
I mistakenly thought the service looked good and signed up for a subscription paid every three months. The next day I realise this is not for me and I contact them to see if I can cancel, close the account and get a refund. They advised they couldn't do a refund and asked me to try out the subscription for 3 months. I told them to cancel the account with immediate effect and to delete my data and user account. They promised they would do this and not take any further payments. 3 months later I happen to notice another payment to them on my credit card. I try to log in but there is no account listed for me. Sensing something fishy I contact my credit card provider and explain and they refund me the amount and promise to put a stop on the authorisation so that no further payments can go through. Today, 6 months later, I see that another payment has gone out! So I complain to my bank as well as try logging in to the platform again - low and behold there is the account up and running with all my details that I requested that they delete in technicolour glory! Being on the other side of the world it is difficult to 'chat' with them in real time as they are probably asleep so I have sent a message - let's see how they respond!

Staggeringly Unprofessional, Incompetent and Ignorant
A hard-sell, used car lot feel to the entire experience and one without any guarantees of service provided. Before agreeing to use the service, they were pushing a contract on me - something which came to my inbox several times with reminders of its existence. Further dealing with the sales reps and executives revealed a startup flying by the seat of its pants, not really wise to the ways of the world - and certainly not customer service. Chances are if you're looking at these reviews it means you're considering their service and are likely leaning a certain way. Which means the reviews that go against what you think will be taken with less credibility. Don't do that to yourself. Run, don't walk, away from this company which operates via whim looking to get rich quick, not actually offer a valuable, worthwhile service.

Stay away!
I signed up for Brandyourself after a smooth sales person looked into my situation and said they could help. I signed up for the highest package and they were confident they could control the first page in the first year. After over a year of using their service and nearly 10k spent, nope no results. I asked them how their strategy would be different and they spewed off sly comments like google is always changing, we’re trying new things, we still have great content for you. Not what I was looking for. If you are Truly looking to control page 1of google this is not the service for you. What they should have done was worked continually until they got the results and only charged me after since I did pay for an entire year. Instead they tried to up sell me again. Just bad bad business.
