Unsatisfactory experience

Original review Aug 30, 2021
While looking for ticket for concert at the Ryman Auditorium I accidentally stumbled onto the first sight on Google listing tickets for the concert at Box office.com I thought the price was high, but it said tickets had a high probability of selling out, so I looked at good seats in price range and clicked on Section 3 Row M near the center of the stage. After I paid for them I was sent Section 7 row V which was way off to the side and underneath the overhang. I tried to exchange tickets by email as no one ever answered the phone but to no avail, no response. This is bait and switch. In addition , one of the groups cancelled and was not able to secure a refund, which I understand Ticket Master did offer my friend. Tickets were twice as much as they would have been at Ticket Master and did not even get the seats I ordered Buyer Beware!

Extremely poor company to work with. Refuses refunds for cancelled shows.

I purchased ticket in Feb 2020 for a show on May 1st. It was rescheduled for August, then rescheduled for November, then to be determined. The tickets I received were through Ticketmaster. The event has been cancelled. Ticketmaster has refunded Box Office and they refuse to give me a refund. They have offered a voucher for a different show. I am not interested in another show and have since developed medical issues that prevent me from traveling to Oklahoma. Don't purchase tickets from Box Office. refund.

Bait and switch tickets

I accidentally got onto this site when googling tickets for the Ryman Auditorium. Prices were 40 % higher than Ticket Master I clicked on Section 3 seats, paid for them and was sent a receipt for another Section ,( Section 7) which is much farther center of the stage, and there were no seat numbers on the receipt. Refunds Not Honored

Purchased tickets to a Maroon 5 concert. The concert was rescheduled, due to Covid, and I got new tickets for the rescheduled date. Eventually the concert was cancelled. According to Box Office Ticket Sales policy, if a concert is cancelled, you get a full refund..............but NO!!! They offered us a voucher instead. I want my money back!!! I bought these tickets in good faith.

This place sucks

Never ever order tickets from this place! The concert I wanted to see was rescheduled for Halloween and having kids thats not possible. The lineup got changed so the band I originally wanted to see will not to be playing and you cannot get a refund at all!!!

Go to the main website for the concert - STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDS

I purchased one ticket with this company for a show. When I processed the ticket I thought it was odd that I had no seat assignment. So I spoke with customer service, she told me she would call me back in 15 mins to let me know. She never called back, I called her and there was no answer. In the span of an hour before I got a seat assignment. I now have a work obligation that I can not get out of. I purchased the Allianz Insurance to protect my ticket because as Ive been told by reputable ticket companies. Purchasing the ticket insurance allows me to get my money back if I need to cancel. There policy is no cancellations which I found odd because anytime Ive bought a ticket through an event company or ticket processing company. Once you purchase the insurance, cancelling is not a problem. I emailed them telling them the situation and kindly asking for my money back. But they then said they couldnt. I replied saying I understand the policy but I purchased the insurance which cancels out their policy, the charge was in fact still pending, they could resell the ticket because Im not going to be in the country and that it was suspicious to me that I received my seat assignment almost an hour after purchasing it. I then requested a phone call where I spoke to the previous employee. The excuses I was given are as follows: 1. We had a lot of people who would cancel and then try to use the ticket so we changed our policy 2. If we do this for you then we have to do this for everyone. I calmly told her those excuses are no way to run a business considering you allow people to purchase the insurance. Which automatically entitles me to my money back since I A. Haven't used the ticket b. The event is next week on Saturday giving them plenty of time to resell the ticket c. This isnt kindergarten, you are running a business and this logic is quite frankly pathetic. I then asked to speak to the manager who then proceeded to give me the following excuses: 1. We specifically picked out this ticket just for you 2. We go to the box office to get your ticket so once you get its nothing we can do 3. The event is sold out. Which all three are lies, Ive worked in hospitality and customer service for over 10 years. These excuses are just a way to mask the scam they are trying to pull on people. his is the first time Ive ever filed a complaint against a business and I get it. You change your policy in order to protect yourselves. But if a customer calls you in an hour after purchasing the ticket, has purchased the insurance AND tells you they wont be using the ticket at all. They should get their money back without any hassle. And without using the Pre-K logic well if we make and exception for you then we have to do it for Timmy too. RUN AWAY FROM THESE TWO SCAMMERS! The insurance company rejected my claim and when I called the Box Office. They told me they've been having problems with this company and that consumers should never use them because these two are FRAUDS!

The WORSE Website EVER

I ordered a ticket as a present for my wife more than a month before the show. They emailed me to let me know that the order was complete and that I will receive the ticket before the show. I've NEVER received it, and when I called 10 times for help it was always "It's not our fault, it's our seller, we can't help you". WORSE WEBSITE EVER and WORSE CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM. They also NEVER responded by Live Chat... PLEASE don't ever buy anything from them if you don't want to miss a show :( Im so heartbroken... I want everyone to know how BAD this website is!

Avoid BoxOfficeTicket.Center

While looking at the Trans-Siberian Orchestra event at the Wells Fargo Center PA site online we were lured to the BoxOfficeTicket.Center site to purchase tickets. Mistakenly accepting the site as the official venue site, we ordered tickets and it appeared the availability of tickets was tight. We ordered two tickets and paid $292.73 for two mezzanine 11th row seats. Within minutes we tried to cancel the tickets. They refused. A horrible policy, but not uncommon for ticket re-sellers/brokers. Going back and getting to the official site, better tickets were available at $195 (all in for 2 tickets) for 3rd row floor seats. So BoxOfficeticket.Center rips you off right from the beginning by charging much more for much worse seats. Be careful what website you link to when looking for tickets and avoid BoxOfficeTicket.Center. To make matters worse, when we called the telephone number provided in the purchase email confirmation, not only did they refuse a cancelation, when asked what company they represent they provided the wrong name telling us they were with TicketNetwork.com. I wrote a number of reviews on TicketNetwork.com to find out the person at BoxOfficeTicket.Center lied to us about the company involved. I now need to make that right.

CON ARTISTS!!!

These guys are THIEFS! Ended paying more than double what regular tickets should have cost us. What a joke! They most likely operate out of a basement somewhere. Tried to get a refund and spoke to a very rude "manager" who was of no help whatsoever. Avoid this fake company who rips off people by appearing to look legit!

Unhappy Customer

Purchased four tickets to a concert at the American Music Theater in Lancaster, PA. A few minutes later I learned that I had vastly overpaid for the tickets and been charged another 20+ percent fee. I called back within a few minutes and requested that the sale be cancelled. I did listen to the advice that the sales are final. However, I believe that it should be possible to cancel the sale when the follow up request to do so is made within a matter of a few minutes. The "escalation specialist" simply repeated the final sales statement and said that there was no one else that I could speak with about the matter. Called Customer Service #: got offer for cruise and offer for medical alerts. Did not elect either, and was then disconnected.

Stay Away from this company

Their misleading internet advertising led me to believe I was dealing directly with the Saratoga Performing Arts Center Box Office but in reality, I was somehow diverted to this 3rd party reseller. I said I wanted a lawn ticket which they said cost $89, so I said what's the next ticket up? They said a seat ticket for $100.00.So since it was so close to the lawn price, I said ok. By the time they added their exorbitant fees, it cost $147.00.The only reason I went along with it was I thought I was talking to the venues box office and these were the only tickets available so I felt under pressure. I realized the next day when I tried to call the venue's box office again that I had spoken to an unknown and had been ripped off. I called them back and their customer service is horrible. They would not let me get a word in and basically said too bad, it's non refundable. So an event that I was very excited about going to turned into such a bad experience, I didn't even go and lost my money. These people are scam artists and manipulators and should be shut down. I feel totally taken advantage of.

HUGE SCAM - ILLEGITIMATE TICKETS

I purchased two tickets to Mumford and sons a month in advance, but when at the gate for the concert, the emailed tickets did not scan. Went to the box office, and was told to contact company directly because it wasn’t through ticketmaster. Was hung up on the first time calling, and was told a full refund would be sent because the sent tickets didn’t work. Ended up missing concert and being out $250 dollars for marked up and fake tickets. DO NOT BUY CONCERT TICKETS UNLESS THEY ARE FROM TICKET MASTER.

Double Check These People

Ordered tickets for Peach Music Festival using Peach Music Festival site. Credit card billed 3/12. Check to see if ticket had been mailed, Box Office Tickets claimed they had no record of me or Peach Festival tickets. Went back to Peach site, found out Front Gate Tickets was supposed to handle tickets. Using my name they found attempts had been made to buy the ticket and failed "due to credit card problem". Box Office Tickets had no problem billing me and I paid the card in good faith. Would have caused me to miss the Festival. I was instructed by BOT operator to have my card cancel billing. They tentatively credited it back to me. It remains to be seen if further hassles ensue.
