Wasted thousands of dollars with Molly Marie

Saddened but not surprised to hear negative reviews about Molly Marie's boudoir courses. I can't believe I paid for her courses. I think I was suffering with lack of confidence at the time. I don't know what I was thinking as my boudoir photography is literally a million times more high end than the very amateur work she was putting out. The courses were very basic and badly put together with the modules and lessons just thrown together in no logical order. I think I must have been in a very low place and full of self-doubt to have paid all that money for those courses. When I tried some of her marketing tactics my bookings actually went down and not up! And marketing experts I spoke with disagreed with her suggestions that were massively outdated. I was also very upset that literally a week after i paid full price for her courses she ran a sale offering everything half price. If she truly believed in the value of her courses she would not have needed to do that. Thankfully I am a much stronger person now and can see my self-value and how I didn't need those courses at all. All i needed was belief in my own ability and to stop buying *** and over priced courses lol!

BEWARE!! Molly Marie Keyser is a SCAM ARTIST!

I am not kidding when I say Molly Keyser financially rapes people. She has stolen thousands of dollars from professionals all over the United States and beyond with her first coaching program in the past 3+ years! She would have people sign up and kick them out within weeks for the tiniest of things that she took offense to. People would not get refunds. I myself was kicked out under due to her having "exponential proof" that I spoke badly about her company. I requested she show me her proof, give me a refund or add me back to the program because I have never written anything negative about her company. My request was ignored and I was blocked. Many of her fellow coaches and people who have worked for her company have spoken out about her lies and underhanded business tactics. If you're looking for a resource to learn from on how to create a coaching program there are so many others who are run by people who don't have the emotional maturity of a 14 year old. Molly Marie has literally gotten on FB live and cried while complaining about her "haters" while simultaneously threatening to commit credit card fraud on the cards of those who spoke ill of her. Just 1 week ago she had clients paying upwards of $4500 for her last coaching program promising 6 months to complete the program and lifetime access, as well as coaching calls with her and getting certified. Yesterday she announced she was closing the business to move on to her next business venture. She sent a .zip file to her students, and shut everything down with no forewarning. Do a Google search of Molly Marie Keyser or Boudie Shorts reviews and you are bound to see multiple negative reviews.

Scamming customers in multiple industries

Molly collected $5000 payments only a week ago from students and then up and closed her Boudoir Certified training and coaching business and said here is a download link of course materials and said See ya. These students were supposed to receive several weeks of coaching by her. She has had a bad reputation for scamming photographers with her Boudoir certified course and now left them after collecting money in the past week to start this course and now is going to participate with other industries. Beware, she is not an ethical or moral person.

Hateful Actions / Denying I was even a member!

I purchased and subscribed to Molly Marie's courses and purchased several hundreds of dollars worth of content. After someone in one of her facebook groups asked an honest opinion I said she most probably makes most of her money from the courses she sells. Then she proceeded to tell everyone in the group I was never a member and wonders why I even have an opinion. She then blocked me from the group. I have receipts to prove I paid the hundreds of dollars so I can definitely prove my association with her. But her actions said a lot. When she told everyone I was not even a member it proved she was able to tell lies and willing to say anything to save her reputation. There would have been no other reason for me to have even been in the facebook group if I wasn't a member at one point so why would I have even bothered to be there? Also, she would have had to approve me to enter the group so, again, a lie that she never even knew me. Very strange behavior.

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS

So my initial investment (out of the 6k they wanted) was 2k. Ugh I wish I never would have fallen for their scam of a business. They make new photographers especially think that they'll have a fool-proof instant success business and they do not follow through, obviously. Anyone that struggles they do not help, or when they do its a "you do it wrong" vs let me help you type of assistance. I am so thankful I did not invest more. I did everything they planned out for me to the T literally, and literally it was no point. I was vocal in asking for help, contributing to their stupid "VIP MEMBERS" facebook group, and often asked for advice from others. Unless you have at least $10k just sitting around and have no use for it- avoid boudie shorts at all costs. When you aren't successful they dont even let you go to their boudie camp even if you purchased tickets. Scam all across the board.

Do not join!!!!

In short, a total scam. She harps on new and frustrated photographers that have nothing left. She then takes it all and convinces you to go into debt anyway possible. Then you have to invest even more for locations, props, and other things along the way. EVERYTHING costs money and there is very little guidance. Its a cult. Every answer to every question is the same did you look at the module? You have to do the work as soon as I said I wasnt continuing she also kicked me out of the class. Not even allowing me to get the full month I PAID for. She kicked me right out. Not you can stay until the month runs out nope. Took my money and ran. Didnt convince me to try and stay. Nothing. I looked at the modules and over and over again- info is missing. Get a real coach. Save your money!

No greater Program or Training Avail!

I never imagined how my life would change with certified. I never imagined I could be successful and profitable as a photographer, let alone a specialty boudoir photographer. I never imagined I wouldnt have to have a 'full time job' just to have income. I never imagined I could stay home and take my little boy to school every day ad be here when he gets home. Or that I wouldnt need to have a daycare raise him. But here I am. Doing all of that. Did the price of certified scare me? *** yeah it did! But more, it motivated me! I wont fail with this much on the line. But it gets better, I wont fail with Molly behind me! Her program is complete. Laid out step by step. You follow it. Yo do the work. You market. Shoot. Sell. But the templates are done for you! The sales sessions are mapped out for you! Even posing is mapped out for you! You literally cannot fail at this if you follow it step by step. Once you remove yourself from your own head, your own way, you will also succeed!

Boudoir Certified Has Changed My LIFE

I was on the fence about joining Boudoir Certified for about a year. I stalked the "free" Facebook group, chatted with students, read all of the reviews (yes even the very few not so good ones), and did all of my research before joining. I'm going to give you a little overview of my journey thus far and then some words of wisdom. - Joined Boudoir Certified on February 14th, 2019 - Took in my first Boudoir Client using the program on March 9th, 2019 - Since March 9th, 2019, I have had 12 clients using Molly's methods - I just hit my $10,000 sales mark yesterday after TWO MONTHS in the program (these are just hard numbers, guys, nothing to lie or cheat about) A little bit about me: Yes, I was a successful photographer prior to joining Boudoir Certified, but I was primarily doing weddings and engagements. I did the OCCASIONAL Boudoir Session, but it was VERY difficult to get clients in the door, I was floundering, didn't know how to price myself, didn't know how to get women to commit, didn't know how to sell, etc. Literally in less than a month of joining the program I was a NEW PERSON when it came to Boudoir, including getting in clients, pricing myself right, making sales, etc. My photography was already "strong" prior to joining, BUT I learned how to improve that in a manner that would sell. So, I'm going to end this with a couple things... Is Molly's program something that you have to invest a some good money into? Yes. But what education program isn't this way? How much do you spend to go to college in the hopes to MAYBE land a job 4 years after you started? I started "school" with Molly and in less than a month I was already bringing in money. Does Molly's program work? YES, but only if YOU make it work for you and you DO the work. I am convinced that the people who have issues with the program are ones who did not follow the directions, put in the work, join the weekly Q&A calls, didn't ask questions, etc. This isn't a "magic pill" that's going to suddenly have you waking up and finding money miraculously in your bank account, but it is a game changing method that will bring in clients, will teach you how to sell consistently and will make you successful if YOU work it! The proof is in the numbers, guys - prior to joining Certified, my average sales on a Boudoir Session (when I could get clients in the door) were a measly $300 (session fee and digital images included...ick), now my average sale for a Boudoir Session is $1001.12 ! Literally NEVER thought I could make an average sale of $500 on Boudoir consistently and I've blown that out of the water. Yes, I am a Certified student. NO, I was not asked to make this post, I did it completely of my own accord and I would be MORE than happy to chat with anyone about my success. These numbers don't lie, guys. Trust the actual students who are working the program over people who had issues that were likely things they caused from not following the materials that were given to them.

When my "Job" dumped me I only had...

I had been following Molly for just over a year trying to suck up as much information as I could. I really enjoyed watching her live videos and I knew I needed help in my business. I started trying to pursue a career in photography doing anything I could to get my name out there in 2008 and really tried harder in 2016 where I literally paid people to let me take photos, sold my to the devil and spent my family time engaging with other peoples families. I was "working" 8+ hours on one shoot for $50. I made a whooping $200 in 2016, $150 in 2017, $0 in 2018 from Jan to September. In September I made the decision to jump into the deep end and join Boudoir Certified (Yes It was i though was A LOT of money at the time, I had $200 in the bank and didn't know how I was going to pay for this) however with great risk comes great reward so I sold some stuff, asked for help and did what I needed to, to make it work! I knew I just needed some help with marketing and figuring out how to price myself since I had only did one boudoir shoot at that time and I was a fish out of water. I knew I loved boudoir and I knew I wanted to make this full time. I learned I needed so much more to make it work and boudoir certified gave me literary everything I needed except doing it for me... that was 100% on me! December 21st 2018 my "Job" dumped me and 6500+ other employees and filed bankruptcy. Days before Christmas I was not sure what I was going to do. I knew deep down I wanted to have a more flexible schedule, I wanted to travel with my family more, and do photography. I am currently living my dream, with my dream schedule thanks to Molly! I know there are some bad reviews however I would not have traded the money I have spent and the freedom I have gained for anything. This program works if you are willing to work at it. No one is going to do it for you, however Molly and her team never let me give up on myself or my business even when I was not sure how I was going to keep going. You get what you put into life and I am getting 200% because of Boudoir Certified! Thank you Molly and the team for believing in me and creating this amazing program!

SCAM COMPANY-DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I had a phone call with a rep because I just wanted to learn about the company. Had a two hour phone call that went well but then I was told the program is $10,000!!!!! I wasn’t even given a day to think about it before spending that much money. I was told to squeeze out the last $100 I had on my credit card. Apply for new credit cards, take a loan out on my car literally ANYTHING to give them my money. Like an idiot I gave $100 as a start. After I got off the phone I talked to my family and they told me to get my money back, rightfully so. I messaged Tiffany, the lady I spoke to and she freaked out trying to call me and told me I may not be able to get my money back. I emailed the boudieshort customer service and I was told my money was NONREFUNDABLE. I was not told this or given/seen any piece of paper telling me it was non refundable. Actually I was told on the phone that there was a 90 day money back garantee!!! I have emailed them multiple times on different platforms and haven’t heard a thing. Luckily it was only $100 but what if it was $1000 or more?! This company is a scam and will take all of your money from you. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!

Started my business!

I joined Boudoir Certified last year, without this program I wouldn't even have a business. Molly walks you through all the steps and what to do even if you have no business set up yet. I wouldn't be here without her help, she is a blessing!!!

Horrible

I asked for a refund because it’s not Mac computer friendly. They are refusing to refund my money and I haven’t even been subscribed for 24 hours . I don’t like complicated programs I don’t have time for it and they refuse to issue my refund. They say they are helping me as a student but it’s not helpful the program link takes me to a blank page. Buyer beware I feel like this is a complete scam and they just took 2k of my money. I was also removed from the group because I asked for a refund. I am already attending WPPI and I jut want to try my luck with in person instruction than this online *** that doesn’t work. So before the other women come on here to try to save the name of this brand just refund my money and let me move on . This is about empowerment and there is nothing empowering when you can’t get a refund in less than 24 hours

Scam Artist

So, my experience is not uncommon with Molly Marie Keyser. This was in 2017, I had just opened my business and I saw this AMAZING LIFE-CHANGING ad for her Boudie Shorts Camp. I signed up immediately. I figured the 30-day money back guarantee was good enough to say, “This *** works.” The first 30 days was a complete joke. You wanna know what I learned? How to make 2 vision boards. Which I already knew thanks to Pinterest. I just had a baby, a husband working 2-hrs away, a business I had just started, and I was now in a contract to pay monthly for a camp that was offering me NOTHING. Except the once-in-lifetime experience of being coached 1-on-1 by Molly herself where she stated in an email is exactly what I needed on top of the camp, for an additional fee, of course. I emailed her several times asking for help with the program because I was not receiving the in-depth content she advertised. After not really getting any answer other than, “The material is here. Did you do your vision board? It’s not going to work unless you do it...” I decided to ask for my money back. She didn’t replay to my email until after the 30-day mark and stated that I had gone over the money-back period. I explained my situation, and she continued to charge me until I had racked up $600 in bank fees. I asked her to stop charging my card. She told me that I knew the contract, and there was nothing she could do. I begged her to please just delay the charges so I could buy groceries to feed my family and pay my electric bill (it was starting to get cold and my newborn needed heat) and buy diapers. She very bluntly emailed me, “I am sorry you don’t know how to prioritize. This isn’t my problem. If you don’t do the work, this program won’t work. There is nothing I can do.” After 3 more charge attempts on my card, I eventually had to call my bank and show them all the emails and correspondence between us and prove that I asked her multiple times BEFORE I started paying bank fees. I lost almost $1600 to her and I got nothing out of her program. I have found others and have spoken personally with at least 6 other people where a similar situation happened. One girl in particular is still paying off her debt that Molly created for her and had to end her photography altogether. If she had delivered on content and help as promised, I would have been okay with accepting that I made a decision to sign a contract. But I contacted her right before my 30 days was up and emailed her multiple times asking her to stop charging me and just put me on a smaller payment plan. I paid for 3 months of membership that I wasn’t even able to use because she removed me from the group after I asked her to stop charging me. Yeah, this ordeal went on for MONTHS. If I had not taken all the emails and responses to my bank, I’m scared to think of where I would be right now.

Don't Waste Your Time or Money

First and foremost -- for anyone thinking about this program and searching reviews you should be aware of the trend on this site. Molly and her team get one negative review so everyone that works for her goes on and leaves 5 good reviews to try offset the truth. Second -- don't waste your time and money on this program. They will you tell you like it's like boudoir "college" and they address "flaws" in the program and continuously fix them. Boudoir college? Okay, if you are an established boudoir photographer that makes a good living you have probably already chucked when you read that. That's not a real thing and Molly only thinks it is because she's not a renowned, established boudoir photographer. Go get mentored by a real professional (Michael Sasser, Matt Matthews, Alex Chalkley, Victoria Caroline - just to name a few) for a quarter of the cost - your business and wallet will thank you. If you aren't an established photographer yet and don't really know your way around the boudoir photography world -- this program is where you get preyed on. Before looking into this program more go look up The Do More Forum on Facebook. It's a free community on Facebook and you can get access to unlimited knowledge, tutorials, etc. for less than $200 a year if you decide to do so. Now on to the statement that they "address flaws": In reality if someone asks a questions they don't like or points out a flaw, their team will delete any trace of your comment or question because they don't want the company to look bad. If you are in ANY other photography group you will know that transparency is so important. Especially when it's for a course or product that you purchased. This program is not transparent and hides as many things as humanly possible to make it seem like life is sunshine and daisies in this course. "You have to put in the work" is a common answer on these threads because they try to make it seem like the person isn't doing the work which is why the program isn't working for them. I'm here to tell you that it's not the program itself that people don't like (even though it desperately needs to be updated and look less tacky)... it's the owner Molly, the scams and the dirtiness. I'm not writing this because of hard feelings or bitterness. I'm writing this because I genuinely think it's a waste of money and I'm kicking myself for paying what I did after finding so many more options that are actually worth the cost and are seminars, workshops, webinars, one on one's with REAL boudoir photographers that still shoot boudoir and have successful boudoir businesses. I'll leave you with this to think about. What person would you rather be mentored/taught by and give your money to: Person A) -Makes 6 figures a year -Scams people into a *** outdated program -Treats clients like *** -Was once a boudoir photographer (not a very good one) but doesn't shoot anymore because she makes a living by selling people said program ***This is Molly and the Boudie Shorts company*** Person B) -Makes 6 figures a year -Genuinely cares about their clients and other photographers -Shoots and makes 90% of their living on boudoir photography for their own business -Mentors other photographers making up the last 10% of their living to help other photographers become as successful as they *still* are ***Check out the Do More Forum or google names I noted above, you'll find countless photographers that fit this mold, are successful making half a million a year through boudoir photography and think that Molly is a joke***

*** Company

Don’t waste your money. After they convince you to join saying that you’re “a good fit and will accept you” (everyone is a good fit cause Molly is a money grubbing *** that would take money from a poor homeless person) they will tell you that the program is on sale that day only for $6,000... HA! Not worth $6,000. Then after you join and are “certified” (surprise you have to pay to recertify every year cause $6,000 isn’t enough) and bend over backwards to pay it off they aren’t done stealing every last dime from you just yet. No, they try convince you to join their “advanced” certification for $1,200 a month for 3 years, yes, THREE YEARS! And did I mention they do all of this over Facebook messenger? They don’t even have the tact to call to ask you for $43,000 over three years. Go spend your hard earned dollars with a photographer that is worth it, has good taste and genuinely wants to help you (and will do it for a fraction of the cost in person). This company is just a bunch of low salesmen pushing their *** agenda on you trying to take every last penny you’ve got while trying to make it seem like they’re helping. You’ve been warned.
