Booking.com ripoff

I booked hotel room with booking .com and found out that the booking was wrong I immediately tried to correct the booking and when I try to change it booking .com said *** you your stuck with it , you cant change, cancel or get a refund , not way to contact anyone at booking.com and when calling the best western hotel they tell me to contact booking.com and no way to talk to anyone there .

Customer service are lier

I'm writing to request a refund for my booking at Red Roof Inn in PA. Unfortunately, my experience with the hotel was not a pleasant one. On the day of my booking, I arrived at the hotel at 12 pm to check-in as planned. However, the staff informed me that there were no rooms available for me to check in despite having made prior reservations. I was left waiting and hoping that a room would become available. Later on, at around 8 pm, I received a call from the hotel informing me that they were unable to accommodate me during my stay. This was very frustrating and disappointing as it caused great inconvenience to me. I have to pay more to book another hotel. On three separate occasions, I reached out to Booking.com customer service seeking assistance. However, I was either informed that Genevie P(One of the customer service) were unable to reach out to the manager or that the manager no longer worked at Red Roof Inn. This left me feeling helpless and without a resolution to my problem. In an attempt to find a solution, I took matters into my own hands and contacted Red Roof Inn's customer service directly and they said Booking.com never contact them. To make matters worse, during my last call with Bookinng.com customer service(Youssef A) representative last month, I was informed that the Red Roof Inn manager no longer works for them. This contradictory information only added to my frustration and confusion. As a paying customer who relies on your services for smooth travel experiences, it is disheartening to encounter such incompetence within your organization. The lack of accountability and failure to effectively address customer issues is unacceptable. I expect a prompt response from you regarding this matter. It is imperative that you provide a satisfactory resolution or compensation for the inconvenience caused. Please ensure that this issue is escalated appropriately so that it does not happen again in the future.

Poor (non-existent) customer service

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I recently received while trying to rectify a booking error. On 23rd July 2023, I made a reservation for a flight from Strasbourg to Barcelona through Booking.com. Regrettably, I mistakenly selected the departure date as 24th August instead of 24th July. Immediately realizing the error, I contacted your customer service team to seek assistance in correcting the booking. However, I was informed that the booking was still pending confirmation, and you were unable to assist at that moment. I was directed to contact the airline agency directly, even though I had purchased the flight through Booking.com. After speaking with the manager, I was advised to wait until the booking status changed to confirmed and then call back. I followed the advice, and upon receiving the confirmation email at 4 am on 24th July 2023, I contacted Booking.com again. Unfortunately, the representative, Neisha, was unable to provide any assistance and insisted I contact the airline directly. Despite explaining that it was 4 am and I couldn't reach the airline's helpdesk, I was left without any support or options. She wouldnt even confirm the airlines phone number after telling her that the number recorded on their website was not answering. As a long-time customer of Booking.com, this was my first time seeking assistance in such a critical situation. It was disappointing to be left stranded in a foreign country without any help. I had no choice but to purchase another flight ticket for the 24th of July to continue with my travel plans, while still holding a flight ticket for the 24th of August. I understand that errors can occur, but I expected better support from Booking.com, especially when I was assured by the manager that the necessary changes would be made once the flight was confirmed. I kindly request a thorough review of this situation and an appropriate resolution to be provided. Your prompt attention to this matter would be highly appreciated. La Casa Inn and Suites Tallahassee Florida horrible and nasty room

Extremely pissed off

We rented a car through booking.com and bought the insurance and when we arrived to pick up the car NU car rental told us they they dont accept booking insurance and you guys know this and states that you guys do this all this time he also states that you do it because some wont try and get their money back for the insurance and its a way for you to make more money this is considered scamming and needs to be looked into further by higher officials what really *** me off is that you cant ever speak to a live agent even after going through thousands of channels to try and get through the customer service is horrible I will never use booking again and I will advise everyone I know to not use you guys as well Im going on yelp and bbb and all social media platforms with this review you guys need to be exposed for scamming people out of their hard earned money again very PISSED OFF

They screwed me out of 560$

Made a booking on BOOKING.com. Never received my confirmation email. There is NOWHERE you can call to talk to someone to get that sorted. You can email their help center and they will ignore you every.single time. The only people I could talk to was their media team on Twitter. They LIED about calling me multiple times and only called me once, technically twice back to back at 2 AM. I have zero other missed calls. They refuse to help and just lied over and over about trying to contact me.

I would give negative stars if possible

Booked an Airbnb through booking.com. Arrived and it was occupied. Customer service told me to go find a hotel and they would make up the difference. I booked for 2 nights out of my 4 night stay. Called customer service again after two nights and asked what else I need to do for my refund. They called the hotel which was fully booked and told me only thing available was the presidential suite for $300 extra a night. I asked repeatedly if it would be covered entirely by them and was told yes, just send invoices and they would refund the entire difference. . Original booking was $581, ended up spending $1450. NOW theyre telling me theyll refund $25 two days after my trip is done. Total. Been on the phone for hours and they pull the *** of we cant hear you, what was that? And hand up on me every time. Im beyond furious. Ive requested recordings of phone calls but they wont respond to the emails or requests. Which was the same for the booking which is why I continued calling them. I will never use them again. Stay FAR away!

Refund money

Did not stay in the room it was dirty and smelled like mold is was not clean and I would not stay in this hotel or bring My child in here or my pets , it needs to be updated and the city of Virginia Beach should be ashamed to allow this by the mall where they make they money its horrible never again

I tried to contact Booking.com nobody pick up the phone text

I sent a review on Booking.com for magical in Galilee is a total fraud hotel no lobby nobody there asked me to leave my passport on the box this I could never do is a fraud I think booking.com should not sell this hotel for anyone Imogene on the website is totally a fraud Nothing much somebody from booking should have my money back. I wish somebody call me. Im going to explain

Hotel booking. Broken window, trash, everywhere, stained furniture, no room service.

Booking.com would not offer a refund as they said my problem was with the hotel. Broken air conditioner, broken window latch, stains on furniture, no room, cleaning, parties outside, no clean linen after requesting twice. The hotel told me because booking.com is the one who made the reservation that they could not offer a refund. Just a warning that if anything goes wrong, you will not get any help at all from Booking.com. I booked a hotel stay for four days at the ocean beach club in Fort Lauderdale. I booked my stay through booking.com when we arrived at the hotel, it did not look like or offer the facilities that were promised to us. The air conditioner was broken, they did not have room service and refused room service after we requested clean towels twice. They did not have, any form of security as there was a large scale party happening right at the entrance, including drugs, alcohol, and loud music. Unfortunately, this is something we had to deal with just to get inside the hotel. There were stains all over the furniture and they did not even offer as much as coffee in the morning. I can continue to go on, but I think people get the point. If you like no room service, no clean linen, and nothing complementary or safe and this is the place for you.

Room is dirty and cant stay. Tried to contact the property directly but no response.

We arrived to the place and the place was just filthy all hairs in the bed. We had to leave. I want a refund. First night of our holiday not a great start.

Resolved: The hotel that I booked was mold and mildew infested. I wanted to cancel my reservation for health purposes.

It is ridiculous that I cant get a customer service agent on the phone. I tried going through the app, but it kept redirecting me back to the same page. I am beyond frustrated with this experience. I need a refund ASAP!!!

The full payment in advance coupled with the cancellation policy of no refund allowed relieves the property owner of all responsibilities. All the risk is on the customer with no leverage

The place I booked turned out to be not suitable for rental. The apartment was within 10 meters of trains trucks with trains passing every 2 minutes in the morning starting at 5am and every 5 minutes in the evening until 11pm. Impossible to sleep. The A/C did not work even though the air temperature was-in the 25-30 C and couldnt take a shower because the drain was plugged. The extraordinary noise nuisance from the train was not disclosed by the owner and the amenities described not functioning. I contacted at once the owner who denied all the facts. No refund. $737 !! Booking.com did not provide any support except sending an email asking for a refund which was rejected by the owner. This is fraud.

I had booked a DXB-BLR flight (26 May 2023). I had started trying to cancel this booking at least 8 days prior. Your email support team has zero knowledge on how to support a customer. They gave me wrong numbers (to air india express and air asia), incorrect and incomplete information and also gave me lot of attitude on email. As a result, i have ended up losing a huge amount on the cancellation. I am pissed off. I have posted this issue on twitter, and plan to post on Facebook too. I will NEVER use your services and will publicize this in my social and professional circle. You are responsible for my loss of time, energy and money and should be paying back the full amount (cost of my ticket on GulfAir) to me

Dear All, On January 24 of this year, I made a reservation for 8 people in the name of ORLY TELLO for FLORENTIN HOUSE in Tel Aviv, Israel, when making the reservation the bank deducted from my account the amount of 511.32 US dollars. On May 13 I requested to go down from 8 to 6 people and I was accepted by the hotel, for which I thought I would have a refund but it was not like that. On May 16, when I used the hotel, the manager told us that we had to pay for 1 night for 6 people, since he did not register any payment for 8 people, despite indicating and showing him that my VISA card ended in .. ...318 if he deducted that money from me with voucher #170****.
