Blue Springs Siding and Windows - Window Installation Estimate Review from Dearborn, Michigan

We had them come out and quote windows and it was my understanding that it was the two owners of the company that we're here. They were the most arrogant narcissistic people I've ever met. They were very defensive when I told them their quote was extremely higher than any other quote we've gotten. If my husband hadn't had been here, I would have thrown them out of my house. I literally hated every minute they were in my house! We also had a friend's girlfriend give them a quote on siding. Apparently, they like to take advantage of women and quoted her $39,000 for some simple siding replacement. They told her they needed to get materials ordered ASAP because they were getting ready to run out. Luckily, her boyfriend came home before she signed the contract and stopped her. They called her back a week later and cut their price in half. What a bunch of crooks! Steer clear!

My parents went to a home show and i asked them to pick up information on companies that install gutters. Blue Springs Siding and Windows called me a few days later to set up an appointment. I told the lady that called that we were only interested in gutters, and needed our eaves repaired or replaced. She said they don't do repairs but can cover with some kind of siding material. The day before they were supposed to come give us a bid, some guy called and started asking if our home was brick. I told him we just needed gutters. Then he said they don't do gutters, they outsource them, that he would have his gutter guy call me, then flat out hung up on me. I was up front the whole time that all we needed was gutters, so I understood they could do gutters. The guy that called was extremely rude after I told him we only needed gutters. If they don't do gutters, why did they lead me on? Very rude and unprofessional. I'm glad I didn't waste my time tomorrow listening to their sales pitch!

BAD EXPERIENCE

I had a bad experience with them as they broke a few things of mine, including a window that they did not clean the glass up from the driveway like they said they did, they broke an item in my bathroom and I cleaned that up!! They stepped in my bushes in my front yard and destroyed them. They broke the trim in my front living room and then super glued it back on and touched it with some stain and my house smelled like glue for a few days. They for got to calk some of my windows and then when he came back the next day he used clear caulking instead of white to match all of it and still some of my windows are not caulked!!! They did not clean up their mess or move furniture back!! I had to clean up the mess they made!! Then as one of the guys had my shears I slipped and fell on them as he had them in his hand and I got a huge knot and bruise on my left arm that is still very painful and a bruise on both knees and my back is messed up. On top of all that the one guy yelled at me two different times!!! They are very unprofessional!! I would not recamend them to anyone!!!

They haven't even started for me yet but I'm already not happy. They were scheduled to begin in October and they showed up 2 months early without a phone call. I came home to find someone working on my house, materials in my driveway that I just had redone which was not supposed to have anything on it yet. So I called the office to stop the work because their one man crew could not understand me when I told him to stop. They did get him to stop. Later thst evening 2 men came to pick up all the material. They drove in my yard, dropped trash out of the trailer (which I had to clean up) complained and as they were leaving one of them told me he broke a deck light and to complain he would buy me another one. All very unprofessional. After 3 days of not hearing from anyone I called them to get someone out to replace the light. $22,000.00 of my money going to them, you would think they would show more proffesional behavior and customer care.

Company steals from employees

Blue Springs Siding & Windows has a long term reputation of hiring marketing employees to canvass then creates conflict or unfair compensation structures, forcing the marketer to leave the position unpaid. The company benefits by continuing to close their sales with no compensation for the lead generator. The owners state that the employee did not give a two week notice; therefore, is not entitled to the commission. The company has not been able to sustain a regular marketing crew and continues to take advantage of those who attempt to work in good faith in the position. There are thousands of unpaid dollars to previous employees in the company's history. In short, they are crooks but disguise it in their processes and allowing most employees to go away uninterested in follow-up after dealing with the hostility of the business office. The attempt of one previous employee to collect commissions was unresolved with no reply from the business office. The employee had been screamed at by the owner who proceeded to contact her by phone more than thirteen times within a fifteen minute time period, requiring her to seek police intervention. She was not comfortable returning to the office and was never paid when following up with her manager who lied and continued to make excuses for the unethical history of the company who has evidently operated this way for years in their own financial predatory-style of profit.
