Faulty card, no replacement

I contacted customer service. After having several customer service reps ask me the same questions, I was finally told they would replace the faulty gift card that I never used. I didn't receive the replacement gift card. That's called theft! Fraud, at the very least. How can they be allowed to continue operating?!?!

WORSR COMPANY EVER

Received gift card for Christmas - used to purchase a pick up delivery= didn't have everything I ordered so it was cancelled - 37.00 never went back to my card I have been in touch with them since I they sent me card with remaining balance minus the credit I should have gotten- Just got another card from my health care provider I activated it and went to use it - no luck so they are now able to add 75.00 to their profit this year. Worst company ever - no verbal response from them - just the same e-mail to fill out a form which I did and still getting those silly forms to fill out Beware if you buy a gift card and is Blackhawk affiliated do not buy gift cdput it back Your gift will never be able to be used so you and your recipient will be out of luck

Refund the fraud charge.

User for years with Achievers Card. Received from work Alliance Data. No issues until now. This run around & getting poor resolution is unfair & unacceptable. Had $135 bal for over a year. Used card for purch in Dec it declined. Purchase was $40. They said no issues on their side but couldve been issue on merchants side. Seemed possible didnt try again & kept saving. Work gave points in April. My bal was $35. Called to find out how to fix it. Told go to website. I couldnt. Found out theres no profile for me anymore. Was told last 2 transactions. I had a fraud charge $99. Told try review text alerts of purchase. Explained I never received any alert if I had this wouldve been handled right then. Asked how & when did my profile get erased. They couldnt tell me. They finally understood with no profile there's nothing going to be sent. I wouldnt know of a problem. They said wait for email 24-48 hrs they would have a resolution. Was told get a new card since mine was compromised. Called company several times in two weeks still no email. They would escalate again. Just received new card had to register new profile which now works. Checked new cards bal hoping to see orig $135 & nope its only $20. Old bal was $35. They charged a $15 replace fee. Just got email saying sorry but charge was over 60 days old theres nothing they will do to reverse fraud charge. Called to escalate got same thing. Was told with new card I can start over. Tried getting my company to help asked if they could help with reimbursing $99 charge since work is a finance bank & they offer card to employees. They said sorry we just use this company go back to them. Blackhawk wont help. They didnt help in Dec when all this could have been avoided. Just found out fraud charge was reason orig purchase didnt go through. This company dont care about their users and making things right. They just want to charge you fees & take your money. They are thieves. If you ever are lucky enough to get a response from the company it's just a generic auto response. They don't fix anyone's issues. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Reverse the fraud charge

Purchased card for Disney +

When tried to activate was told this card has already been activated Despite numerous attempts to obtain help over past weeks still have not received any help in solving problem Trying g to ring them is a waste of time no one answers or you are shipped across to off shore call centre who promise to help but nothing comes of it

As of February 18th, I was advised they are allegedly refunding the outstanding $54.78. I'm supposed to receive a cheque within 30 business days from the 18th.

I haven't received it yet. They did apologize, but after 2 months of fighting for money owed to me due to...

Yesterday at 2:30 someone from Blackhawk called me. I sent them a picture of my card and have yet to hear back.

Due to an error on their end, I had to borrow money at a restaurant because the Happy Dining gift card didn't work and now they won't reimburse me my out of pocket expenses. Instead they are lying to the BBB whom I reported them to. Now they aren't responding at all. Also, the cards don't work at the restaurants they are affiliated with!!

This Company is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a gift card from Lowes for $150. The card was activated at the register. I have an activated receipt. Attempted to use the card and it declined. I called Blackhawk and they told me to go back to Lowes and have them activate the card. I bet back to Lowes and they looked at the receipt and said the card is activated. I called Blackhawk and they said they are having connection issues and Lowes is not the blame. They gave me a CS# and told me they unblocked my card and said it would be ready for use the following day. I called them 2 days later to check card balance. It was still $0 so I called Blackhawk again and they told me I had to go back to Lowes to have the card activated! This is RIDICULOUS! I asked for an escalated assistance. The escalated rep got on the the line and said that none of the other reps knew what they were doing. He stated Lowes did not need to reactivate the card! He said wait another day and the card will work! The card still does not work 2 days later and they will not refund my money! This company is a scam and Lowes along with many other stores from the reviews should be ashamed for continuing to sale these cards to their customers knowing how many people are losing their hard earned money to this scam of a company!

Beware. This company is fraudulent and a scam. I received a gift card and activated it. It said my balance correctly, but all sales were declined. I had them replace the card and they sent a 2nd card. Same deal. Waiting for the 3rd card which is ridiculous. All you get is excuses and a runaround with this company. BEWARE!

Terrible Experience with BHN

- Was issued a Gift Card for purchasing Goodyear tires for $150. - 3 successful purchases were made between 6/20/22 & 6/25/22 totaling $75.49 - On 6/28/22 a Fraudulent charge for $64.77 was made at a Walmart in Park City UT (Store#1827) - I was in Page AZ when the fraudulent charge was made and can prove it with Hotel, Gas and other receipts. - When I discovered the issue, the Card Company (Blackhawk Network) sent me an email with the required forms and additional info they needed to proceed with their investigation. I provided everything they asked for. - BHN then came back requiring me to file a police report and get all documentation notarized. - I filed the police report and gave the report number and Officers name that took the info over the phone. - BHN then came back saying they needed the physical report which would require me having to travel 30 min to the police station and spend more time filling out more forms (the police dept. would not email it). This combined with the "Notarization" requirement is 'over the top'. I have never had to provide a police report or get forms notarized for reporting a Fraudulent charge to a card company. - BHN has responded with needing the actual Police report and all forms notarized, period. - In the end I basically got to use half of the Gift Card and BHN kept the rest, seems to be a pattern here...

Unable to use $50 pre-paid debit card.

After I purchased a $50 card I registered it online and it had 5 $10 pending charges against the card. I contacted them about this, and soon the dispute became whether I had even purchased the card. They asked me to e-mail proof, and like a moron I mailed my card and receipt to their headquarters in Pleasanton, CA. They mailed me a replacement card back with a balance of $0. I talked w/ an actual individual on the phone and he told me that they have no address in CA., I told him about my mailing and replacement card, and he said again we are not in CA. we are in Reno ,NV. The dispute online is still going on, and they are claiming that they have no proof of my purchase. Something very fishy is going on here.

Keep getting the same old story, They are reviewing my situation and will be giving me something in 3/4 business days I've heard this for all most a month now

I was mislead in the purchase of 4 cards each of $500.00 equaling to 2,000.00 as I later realized that i was lied to I then called and explained and they immediately shut the cards down meaning they are worthless yet it's now been almost 4 weeks and I have not gotten an answer from you guys on my refund of my 2,000.00 dollars I've been hearing that the situation is being handled yet it took mere seconds for you all to register the cards useless but why haven't I heard anything concerning my refund???!!!!!

Their phone lines - system doesn't even work. It's a joke. Each option you press automatically disconnects your call.A total joke/ scam " company " Avoid!!!

Waiting almost a year for dispute to be handled

I've been waiting over 10 months for a fraudulently maxed out card I recieved in a class action to be replaced. Ive done everything they've asked from police reports to notarized documents. I'll probably never getmy money back. Hopefully get a resolution soon

Google play giftcard scam

Purchased prepaid visa card to get home and find that there was no money left on the card. 5 separate charges to Google play that did not come from me. Cannot get through to a live person or any kind of customer service. Just keep getting the run around. What a SCAM!!!

$25 POOF GONE!

I bought a gift card on 4/19/2021 from Amazon for $25 for a Visa Debit gift card. I bought it with the intention of using it in the far future in case I didn't have money or I had an urgent use for it. Come to this current day 3/18/2022, I go online to purchase something with my gift card and the transaction is getting declined. I log in to the website to check my balance and I notice that on 5/25/2021 $25 DOLLARS WAS TAKEN OUT FROM AMAZON! I never made any purchases! I need my money back. I called The number on the back of the card to dispute it and within 24 HRS they said sorry it's resolved we are not giving you $25 back. It's been more than 60 days! You should have reached out earlier! GIVE ME MY HARD-EARNED MONEY BACK!

Dishonest company

My Visa gift card that was a Christmas gift to me from a loved one was for $200.00. I used it twice at 2 reputable locations, one being Christians that live by the Word of God. I did not use it for 12 days, then went to use it and it had no balance. I thought there was just a glitch or error. Got home and reviewed everything online. There were 4 purchases made online to EBAY which I had nothing to do with. I do not have an ebay account. Charges were for $166. I called them and got the necessary information I needed to send to them. They have been giving me the runaround for the last 2 weeks since this started. The representatives tell me the process will be started (dispute process), then I get an email saying my card information was too blurry and they need it sent again. Then another representative told me I don't need to do anything, everything is ok, etc. Then I get another email saying they need my utility bill which I already sent. Then representative Yasin tells me she will have team leader Hugo call me in 24 hours. Of course he never did. They are liars to the first degree, paid liars. They are told to lie so no one gets helped. They have stalled in every way , they don't keep their word, etc. Bunch of low-lifes working for low-life company. Garbage.
