Crap batteries beware!

Black&Decker knowingly sells products that they know have fault batteries! It's nothing new! And when the customer person (definitely not customer service!), says that he will send one out right away! Just know nothing is coming! Black&decker doesn't even have batteries to send! They know you will go buy a cheep knockoff, and get by without b&d doing anything! That's the only way B&D can make money! By ripping off customers! 0 stars.

Awful Experience- Will NEVER buy from B&D again!

Was strung along for 2 months by customer service regarding a replacement part. Spent hours speaking with different reps who refused to assist or give any updates, nor would they provide a case # to reference, escalation #, or transfer me to a supervisor/manager. I ended up throwing away the nearly new AC unit and am out hundreds of dollars and hours of my time.

I never recieved the product UP to now

The Agent told need to replace the new item( BD blender) UP to Now nothing so very upset.im not using any BD products Pls return My money..

Faulty Auxiliary Handle

The auxiliary handle on this LST300 keeps slipping as I am using it. I have to reset it to the correct position that I want it every couple of minutes. This is the 3rd one I have had and they all have done the same thing. I can't believe that I am the only person with this issue as all 3 units have had this same problem. I have reported this to Black & Decker several times as it is very inconvenient and can possibly cause an injury. I have suggested that they send out a representative to see first hand what I am experiencing, but I guess they are not interested. I believe their quality of products is lacking. I have been very happy with their products in the past and have many of their battery operated tools and this is why I have tried to stay with them since the batteries are interchangeable. Prior to this I had a Black & Decker LST220 with the same type of handle for over 10 years that never gave me any problems.

Did not honor one year warranty

I bought a portable air conditioner, very expensive, top-of-the-line from Amazon. It died in less than one year into the one year warranty. When I called in everybody was very on the program. I would receive a shipping label in email in 3 to 5 business days. I made sure I stayed on the line and that the guy got the information in terms of receipt and serial number and it was confirmed. Nothing ever showed up two weeks later no one returned any emails calls. I finally had to go through Amazon, which was really not their problem but they were honorable and helped out. Avoid the black and decker label. It is poison.

Need part of my black decker eeed eater

No more string on the weed eater , need new round reel that holds string. I just want to know how to get the part. I am old and not techy and I want the part, the tool is older and I dont know what part to order. This is not a review I just need help. So please help me, then I will write a review!!!

Problem with weed eater

To my surprise it my black and decker battery operated weed eater was under warranty! Received my new one today,! Was so excited. It was warrantied for 2yrs and replaced at 22 mos. Thank you Well worth the purchase.

My lawnmower stop working it just has 1 year does it have any factory warranty

Lawn mower stopped working and took it to Home Depot and they werent able to help! I would really appreciate it if you all would honor my warranty for this product! Thank you in advance

Iron malfunction in under 1 yr.

I purchased a Black and Decker Iron and it did not hold its heating temperature and was malfunctioning within a year of purchase.. When I called the customer service line I spoke with an individual who was very difficult to understand. I explained the problem and she basically started arguing with me and telling me it was my fault. Frustrated I thanked her for her time and stated I was very dissatisfied with my customer service experience. I recalled the customer service line and spoke to a helpful individual who I could understand. She said my product was in Warranty and sent me an email on how to replace it. However, this involved cutting off the cord and sending a picture and paying a shipping fee to replace the defective item. Also, the replacement item would not be shipped until they received the required documentation, leaving me without an iron for at least 7-10days. All this,"Hoopla," took at least 2 hours of my time. Totally frustrated, I probably will just go purchase another iron, because the Warranty return policy is so convoluted. I really do not know why I have to pay for shipping when their product did not function properly within a 1 yr. time frame. I guess this is their intention, to make it so complicated to adhere to all the Warranty requirements, that you just give up. Going Forward, I will probably be very guarded purchasing Black and Decker, where I used to consider them one of my preferred brands. Very disappointed in the entire experience.

Broken tape measure 6 months old. Can’t reach support

I have a Stanley fat max 25 foot tape measure that broke a few months after buying it. Im trying to get warranty service, but I can never get a hold of anybody to help me. I only use the tape measure five or six times and it quit retracting.

Warranty not being honored

In the same boat here except it has been 9 months...almost 10 months since we shipped it back to them for replacement. We are still getting the runaround. B&D pawned us off to "W Appliance" because they are supposed to handle the warranty. They had us ship our unit back to them. We have verified they received it on July 14, 2022. We finally had to buy a new AC unit (NOT a B&D) and we have begged B&D for a refund with no luck. They keep telling us that W Appliance will send us a replacement unit. Last week's excuse: Thank you for contacting BLACK+DECKER I immeasurably apologize for the inconvenience. I have contacted W Appliance to get more information about the status of the replacement. Unfortunately, there are some delays in the logistic of the warehouse. Their guy recommends contacting them in the middle of the next week.

Warranty replacement

Contacted Black and Deckwr warranty about an issue with my portable a/c / heater unit. I called the customer service department and they said the unit was under warranty and they would send me a email with a return label. I received the email and returned the unit March 1, 2023. Received an email a couple days later saying that they received the unite and there was a 10 day processing with and I should get a new unit with two weeks. That was March 4. Today is April 8 and I haven't heard anything. I have called 6 times and spoke to customer service they assured me that I'm in the queen whatever that means and I asked to speak to a supervisor on four separate occasions. I was told I would get a call back from a supervisor. I explained the a/c unite us my 83 year old parents bedroom air conditioner and they were both in poor health and on oxygen because of lung issues. I live in south texas and it's getting very warm and humid and they are currently sleeping in the living g room in recliners because there no a/c in the bedroom. I am yet to hear anything from black and decker. The only think I was told was there some type of a shipping issue. That's it. Nothing more.
