FD12 Jammerific!

voidoidaqvaThis "weapon" seems cosmetically designed to wow gamer content creators who've never used a real firearm. Additonally: Wanting a 12 gauge bullpup, I made the mistake of jumping on a Black Aces Tactical FD12 when I saw it for $300. but of course, when all was said and done, with fees and taxes it cost me about $400. After a couple boxes of rounds, it is no longer operational in semiautomatic. things that have went horrible wrong with this almost brand new "weapon" #1 it doesn't chamber any rounds anymore! I finally found the reason why not is that the firing pin easily slides forward out of the face of the face of the bolt when it is feeding and going into battery, which traps the back of the shell under the firing pin and keeps it from rising and feeding. to unjam it one has to pull back on the bolt slightly and release the back of the shell. And it's not an issue of the firing pin being stuck because the jmore I cleaned and lubed it, the worse it got. Only a very slightly declined barrel will result in the firing pin sliding out and trapping the back of the shell. #2 the bolt and magazine catch levers have become stiff and almost impossible to engage or disengage even when cleaned and lubed. cleaning and lubing them makes them work properly for an average total of MAYBE twice, before they go back to being stiff and very hard to engage and disengage. #3 admittedly if the firing pin isn't sticking out, it cycles like a dream. I just shot 20 rapid fire short brass 2.75"n shells out of an RA! 12 gauge bullpup, (which is cosmetically infinitely better looking than the FD12 monstrosity)which all ready had had about 20 flawless shells through it and recommend the Rock Island Armory import model. it's obvious that BAT has spent lots of money under the table to "reviewers" allover the internet to lie say that the FD12 in quality ranks up with AND EVEN OVER in some reviews, the IWI Tavor TS12 in quality and value! It's total *** and I want to get the word out that one is wasting one's money and perhaps safety (like I did) if one believes the hype and wastes her/his one of these FD12 turkeys.

Not very happy with black case right now

I have been calling and left email about warranty work on my shotgun no response no answers on any phone calls whatsoever no response to emails I just think it's very unprofessional of a business not to respond to their customers that being said when you take your son out shooting and the gun blows up I just don't agree with the company that responsible for building the product not to answer their phones or emails

Very poor customer service

My son was shooting his shotgun and it blew up because of poor quality and the only reason I'm leaving this review because it seems like nobody wants to answer the phones or anything at Black Ace as a consumer buying a product and the company guarantees warranty should be stood by

Magazine issue on FD12 bought

Nothing back from Black Aces

Original review Nov 25, 2022
Still have not heard back from customer service on the issue. I believe it is a good platform, need to finish breaking in. Would sporadic feed and eject with high brass high velocity four shot. Bought a case of Black Aces 00 buckshot to break in.

New bullpup shotgun magazine won't contain shells

Tried contacting Black Aces on 10/17/2022. New Pro bullpup semi shotgun purchased. One of the five shot magazines wont hold the shells. Have sent proof of purchase with photo. Return message stated someone would respond within 3-5 days. Have not heard anything yet. Would like to get resolved.

Broke right out the box

I picked up my FD 12... bullpup 12g pump yesterday. I should have looked at the reviews first !! None of the reviews have anything good to say about the company. Upon first inspection I found that the safety would only move half way between Fire and Safe. Pulling the trigger was more difficult with the safety "engaged" but the gun would still fire. VERY DANGEROUS They do not answer the phone, and from what I read of the reviews, I'm stuck

Piece of Crap

Semi automatic does not eject and reload shells. RTSP and other resellers should stop selling this product to the public.

Defective product delivered to me from

purchased 250 12 gauge oo buckshot shells through Palmetto State Armory.I took 3 out of the first box to look at them- the plastic cap holding the buckshot in the shell fell out and the actual pellets fell out of the shell!!! what would have happened to me if i had chambered that round in my shotgun at the range or while aiming at a buck??? what if/probably a few or all the buckshot had rolled down the barrel??? inches???

Defective products, Substandard *** poor Customer Service, Lack of and delayed response

Bought a Black Aces Pro S Max in June 2020 from my FFL in Arizona. It's been one issue after another. Multiple double feeding, second shell ejects into feed ramp on multiple occasions, and failure to eject on the expended round. Emailed and called their Corporate office multiple times, even Facebook and took them at least 7-8 times with emails, Facebook DM's, and finally calling them out on their page thread/posts about their lack of attentiveness to customer issues. I currently have a shell stuck in the feed ramp and can't get the damn thing out. Emailed the their CEO, a former Marine and told me to just fix the shell/round retention pin by prying it wider so as to be more pronounce with shell retention....last I check, manufacturer warranty voids itself if you try to fix the weapon without proper credentials or training. Corresponded below: Me: Yep..the retention pin for the rounds. So you're wanting to adjust it myself and should something happen with the current round stuck in the feedramp then it's ok right? With a small tool, apply pressure to the underside in order to bend it slightly. This will give more of an aggressive angle to the shell stop.
