I stayed at Best Western and these people don’t know or understand the ADA laws for service Animals!!!!

Best Western does not accommodate for service dogs!!! When I stayed at BW they state their policy only allows animals on the first floor.However on two or three different stays they put me in rooms 222 & 303 because they stated that was all they had available.Total BS and I never brought my service dog in the small break room where breakfast was served.On one occasion after breakfast was finished I brought my dog in only to grab a yogurt and leave and was confronted by female employee who raised her voice and stated my dog could not be in the room serving food unless my service dog was to help me see or walk!!! I am a Veteran with PTSD !!! This employee was way out of line and obviously doesnt know or understand anything about service animals.These people dont know the ADA laws concerning service animals.I called BW customer relations and they took my complaint but stated that it is policy to only allow dogs on the first floor.When a person has a service dog the dog goes where the owner goes,emergency rooms,restaurants,etc.Best Western needs to follow the ADA laws.As a Veteran who needs my service dog Im sick and tired of being harassed and people dont understand or seem to care.I will continue each month to post this review because BW only confirmed that policy says the dog has to stay on first floor.I advise any Veterans who have a service dog dont stay at Best Western they will accommodate you and refuse to follow the ADA laws.

Fraudulent charges

I stayed at Best Western Travelers Rest at 110 Hawkins Rd back on July 13. I recently contacted the hotel and asked why my $100 deposit wasnt returned and they presumed to tell me that it was from someone smoking in the room. First of all, I dont smoke and there was absolutely no smoking in the room during my stay. Secondly, theyve I charged an extra $200 for the smoking fee. So I will be contacting my bank and pursuing fraud against this hotel if I cant get this issue resolved. Because of this I was curious to look at the reviews online to see if this type of thing has happened to anyone else, and sure enough it has. They falsely accuse people of damaging things just to get paid the extra fees. This is classified as stealing.

To complain how lousy your service and rooms are

Horrible - the women I spoke to at customer service was nice but didnt do what she said she was going to do n something about giving me my points for the charge of the room she even signed me up on a rewards site but failed to give me my points plus I feel with the three issues and major issues I had, I shouldve be reimbursed or given a credit to try your hotel again my boyfriend uses Beat Western but this was the first time Ive ever stayed and will never stay again. - I travel a lot but I use Radison, Marriot, Hyatt, or the newer Home ones

The room was filthy. Carpet severely stained. Trash in the sheets of the bed and sheets were dirty. We had to wear socks/shoes due to filthy carpet.

Filthy room. Dirty carpets. Trash in the bed. Dirty sheets. Next to freeway on ramp. So noisy that ear plugs didnt help.food was ok, but there were only about 6 to 8 tables to eat at. We had to stand with our food until somebody left their table.

Misleading Advertisement

So apparently I was under the impression that my 4 day stay came with a complimentary breakfast only to find that this hotel doesnt. When I asked he confirmed that there wasnt. And only to find a barely working coffee machine in the lobby for the amount Im spending Im mortified. Im embarrassed I really just wanna leave this was a big part of the trip.

Room cancellation.

My husband and I were looking for an overnight room in Cameron Missouri on April 17. We looked up hotels in Cameron and found one and made a reservation through Orbitz. Once we receive the confirmation notice we immediately saw that it was in the wrong city which was Kearny Missouri we tried numerous times to get a hold of Orbitz to cancel this reservation and were unsuccessful I then looked up hotels in Cameron Missouri, and found the one we wanted and booked it through orbits. When we checked in at the hotel desk and into the room, we realize it was a smoking room. Because I have allergies to cigarette smoke we were unable to stay in that particular room, which was booked in error. So I went up to the front desk and explained it and she said she could not give us a refund. We would have to contact Orbitz. So at that point I want ahead and booked a room directly with the hotel. Sure stay in Cameron Missouri. The room was very nice and worked perfect for us. Later, I contacted Orbitz and asked to get a refund on these two rooms that were booked in error and they said they would get back to me. The next day Orbitz informed me that the managers at both hotels the one in Kearny and the one in Cameron were not willing to give me a refund on the room, no reason was given. The fact that we didnt stay in either rooms I dont understand why we werent granted a refund, so Im asking for your assistance in this matter. This is very upsetting to have to go through all this process just to get refunds for things that should automatically been refunded. Complaint

I stayed a best western in Williamsburg 201 Bypass road Williamsburg Va. Friday April 14,2023 to Sunday April 16, 2023. Room 212. Under my daughter name Ryckeita Greene. Very disappointed! Refrigerator didnt work closet door broke. Curtain rods broke. Bathroom towels had stains on in. Along with the blanket & sheets on the bed. House keeping service was bad!

Deposit

I booked twice with best western through a third party and had to have a deposit which I dont mind. My issues is that I never received any of my deposits back and one has been over 30 days and the other since New Years Eve and they keep giving me the runaround.

Pissed off

Run around when called reps in Arizona. Customer service Then Rewards Loyalty Then can we put you back yo customer service WTF CONV Concerned about useless security questions to see points on dashboard. How many bicycles ? How many buses How many crosswalks on pics that are low grade. Get my membership number Then want home address and other stuff that reminds me of national security questions. That's my frustration and why pissed off. Asked to be called tomorrow by a manager but just ignoredH

Trying to get a refund

Room was filthy, not as advertised. Refused to give refund for 2 nights. Called pissed customer and miraculously got a phone call telling me they were refunding me one night.

Facility outdated in need of face lift- substandard accommodation - basics need replacement ~ carpeting upholstery - the basics .

We stayed with the Best Western Alamo, SanAntonio from the 17th of July to the 20th. Booking ref 259549****. Our holding deposit hasnt been credited We would please like a detailed statement too I have tried to find an email address, but it was an impossible task

Horrible room stay

I have been tryin to get in contact with someone since the day we stayed at one of your hotels. I reserved king spa room non smoking it came to 255 dollars online the pictures looked beautiful, but not at all what we got for that price u can stay in a room that is much bigger that isnt smoked in thqt is clean and dont hace white *** stains all over. We made sure to take pictures with time stamped so you can see. The room wasnt even cleaned the rug was all pulled up stains on the floor all over the spa tub had stuff qll over the tile. When i asked the front desk for a different room was told they couldnt im beyond disappointed and actually pissed i paid good money for a nice spa room and got a run down room that wasnt even cleaned.
