Home security camera installation

I made the purchase for this home security cameras to be installed since May. Its now the end of July going into August and I keep getting excuses. After excuses. They came out and install four cameras and the fifth camera has not been install since try to get a hold of a representative for Best Buy and no one picks up the phone. I will see if I can get my money back and have them come and take the cameras back and called another company who will be a lot more reliable than Best Buy

Complant

I spoke with three salesmen in your Dearborn Michigan store, who assured me that they would honor my price match guarantee . I presented the paperwork for the item to a team member and was denied so I asked to speak with the manager who also denied me while saying that he didn't have a reason although he saw that I had the correct documentation.

Resolved: Promised a partial refund, Never sent it, And now said tough luck, CROOKS

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with partial refund. After filing a complaint with the BBB, Best Buy corporate support contacted me and reimburse me $50 to my credit card to make up for the issues of me never getting my $28 gift card to make up for the damage. They were very nice and helpful, but I should not have had to file a complaint with the BBB to get to someone that could help me.

I ordered a TV online. It was damaged in shipping. A chunk of the polarizing screen was stabbed in shipping causing a large pin point of white light on part of the screen. I called best buy the next day and described the issue. I was told I could exchange it or since it was just small damage but still usable, I could instead have a partial refund. I chose the partial refund. Based on the cost I paid they offered me $28. They said it would be on a physical gift card which would be mailed and would take 4 weeks to receive. I never received the gift card. I called and was told even though they have in their computers that I call and they recorded the damage, they had no note about a gift card and since it was now past a month I could do nothing. They know I called. They know there was damage and since I didn't exchange it clearly something else had to happen. Why would I just keep a damaged TV. They just basically said well it's over a month now, so tough luck. They sent me a damaged TV, lied to me about sending me a partial refund that would magically take just enough time to get to my house that it would be too late for me to do anything else after waiting. I have the order # and I have the ticket # from when I first called a day after receiving the damaged TV when I was promised the gift card. They don't care. They know what happened but did nothing. They lied and stalled so I got stuck with a damaged TV and now they get to keep all my money. Crooks!!!

Best Buy Stole & Lied to us.

Best Buy STOLE & LIED to us $200! Do NOT order from this HORRIBLE COMPANY! We never received the package. FedEx shows a photo of a house that isn't even OURS. We do not even live in a house! We called, explained the home in the photo is not ours, a quick google search can prove this. They stated after being on hold many times, and an hour later a refund would be made and a confirmation email would be sent within 24hrs. After 3 days and no email, we chatted to see an update to be immediately told no case was ever documented of our call. We were more less called liars by the chat rep, and told to file a police report?! Are you kidding me? So your motto is to lie to your customers saying youre refunding them to get them to go away and hope they never notice? Im sorry but thats sickening. You stole from your customers, you lied to your customers, your chat rep was a rude, horrendous to us claiming no record, no note, nothing of our call was made. Thats beyond messed up business. Youve wasted our time, our money, and stole from us. We will not be letting this drop and heard everywhere.

Repair service misrepresentation and screw-up

We purchased a Maytag Clothes Dryer from Best Buy about 2 1/2 years ago. We did not purchase a repair/warranty contract. We needed repair work on our Maytag Clothes Dryer on June 10th 2023 and (naturally, but not again!) called Best Buy for a repair. Over the phone (Geek Squad?) we were told the breakdown was probably due to one orf two parts failing and that THEY would have to order the parts (we gave them the model and serial number at their direction) and were told that we would be contacted when the parts came in. An appointment was scheduled for June 28, 2023 as a worse case, but the person on the phone would call us if the parts came in earlier. A Geek Squaw guy came to our house on the 28th of June and informed us that "no parts had been ordered. As I later found out, Best Buy/Geek Squad does not order parts in advance for "COD repairs" (repairs for products not under any repair or warranty contract). This was never communicated and, indeed, the person first contacted on June 10th, 2023 specifically wanted model and serial numbers to make sure he ordered the right parts. This colossal "screw up" took three hours of calls to a variety of "customer service" representative who were unwilling, except the last guy, to "get" that there was a total miscommunication about what Best Buy/Geek Squad will or won't do and to communicate a customer's options. And, in this case, a misrepresentation on June 10, 2023 that parts were ordered.

Took $195, our items, and wasted our time pretending to help!

I placed an order for my sons birthday gifts. I received the first order through UPS, but not the second order from FedEx. I tried to live chat for days in a row, could never get ahold of anyone as the wait time kept increasing. I called and was on hold for 18min, total phone call was over 40 I believe. It was incredibly hard to communicate with their customer service, and was told a refund would be made. After I was on hold again, they claimed they had to submit a FedEx claim and it would take days to receive a response back. I was told I wouldnt receive a refund nor replacement, let alone in time for my sons birthday. I do NOT have the funds to repurchase in time for his party, let alone pay double for the same items I did order. I blame Fedex, but I also blame Best Buy for not having its customers backs in this situation. I feel robbed, humiliated I wasted this much time for nothing to be resolved, I really dont know how we are going to recover from this loss. Do NOT order from Best Buy. They dont care about you after they have your money. Its out of their hands.

They will not honor the Total Tech Membership warranty

Best buy sux and I would not recommend being a Total Tech member or buying anything at Best Buy. Their employees are dismissing and unhelpful and their management is nonexistent!!! I have had the same issue for 6 months and cannot get my warranty work completed and cannot find anyone who can assist me.

Horrible Customer Service At Best Buy

I ordered a Shark Cordless Vacuum from Best Buy on line. Best Buy contracts out to a delivery company call Roadie. The Roadie delivery person didnt deliver my package, claiming she didnt have the gate code. Yet, she sent me a tracking number and updates through out the day to me via texts. All she had to do was call or text me for the gate code. She took the package back. Best Buy would not refund my money, saying I must take their gift card. Why would I buy from Best Buy again? This is illegal. I contacted Better Business Bureau.

I took screen shots of the entire chat. I would love to send them to you. Because of that I went elsewhere to purchase 5 iPhones and service for those iPhones.

Lack of help with a problem on an order.

I ordered a Thor Kitchen Slide in Professional Gas Range in stainless Steel Sku #664****, back on Feb. 10, 2023. I bought it with Installation and Liquid Propane gas conversion which was an extra $264.99 for parts and labor the Sku # was 536****. I also ordered Replacement gas line Kit Sku # 577****. On March 10th they came to install only to find out the Gas conversion kit was on Back order until April 21st!! Now I have been paying for a range I never got, and today I found out the conversion kit was never ordered and I would have to buy the kit again!!! I either want the range completely installed with the conversion kit included or I want ALL MY MONEY BACK!!! John Waclawsky

Bestbuy did not deliver my product

I never imagined that I would go through such a sad and disappointing situation in America, especially with a renowned company that I admired so much like BestBuy. In addition to the financial loss, I had a great emotional loss due to the expectation I created when buying the product. Just below, I put details of everything that happened, but in summary: 1) Bestbuy did not deliver my product, 2) BestBuy gave me inconclusive promises and information for more than 90 days, 3) Bestbuy finalized my complaint as unfounded, without demonstrating ANY proof of delivery of the product. Unfortunately I had to come and do this review so that other people don't get disappointed or go through the same damage I went through. Thank you for the other times that my family was served by BestBuy, but unfortunately I will no longer make any purchases from this company. Sorry for my English mistakes. -- Agora em Português, para ajudar os brasileiros. Nunca imaginei que eu passaria por uma situação tão triste e decepcionante na américa, principalmente com uma renomada empresa e que tanto admirava como a BestBuy. Além do prejuízo financeiro, tive um grande prejuízo emocional devido à expectativa que criei na compra do produto. Logo abaixo eu coloco detalhes de tudo o que aconteceu, mas em resumo: 1) A Bestbuy não entregou o meu produto, 2) A BestBuy Me passou promessas e informações inconclusivas durante mais de 90 dias, 3) Bestbuy finalizou minha reclamação como improcedente, sem demonstrar NENHUM comprovante de entrega do produto. Infelizmente tive que vir fazer essa avaliação para que outras pessoas não se decepcionem ou passem pelo mesmo prejuízo que eu passei. Agradeço pelas outras vezes que minha família foi atendida pela BestBuy, mas infelizmente não mais farei qualquer compra nessa empresa.

Packed and Shipped my item with it hanging out of the BOX!

I order an Open-Box Excellent-Certified TV because they said they can save me $100 from retail and it is professionally cleaned, Geek Squad certified, Looks brand new, includes all original parts and accessories and it is shipped with all the corners hanging out of the box with clear tape and bubble wrap! Like UPS/FED Ex wont even let it touch a surface! Guess what, its all cracked. 2 hours later dealing with customer service, still no resolution and no email pre-paid shipping sticker to send back. They are trying to FORCE me to confront a store manager who has nothing to do with online sales! I asked for a new one, they said SORRY we will refund you. I'll toss this in the garbage I guess, go buy one elsewhere and tell my Credit Card company to rescind the payment for what $100 in customer satisfaction it would have cost them! WOW. Its a TV, you cannot ship them hanging out of the cardboard guys...

keep getting ping ponged between Coperate and the store, Nobody seems to have the damn authority to do anything about this, just pass the buck. Same thing with the NWC replay issue, pass the buck, between Nintendo and Best buy, no one will own up to anything,

Bought a laptop, was defective, exchanged, new one did same thing. *** deleted my data when I told them not told, and WROTE IT ON THE DAMN CONTRACT NOT TO TOUCH HARD HARDDRIVE. DESTROYED MY NOVEL I SPENT TEN YEARS ON. Then sent it back again, replaced monitor like they were supposed to then slammed it on a screw driver or something. Had white spots, told me it was cosmetic and blew me Promised to replace Moniter, Blew me off when I sent the estimate., Got a lawyer, sued settled for replacing the laptop/refunding it, Blew me off, Went to the store as instructed blew me off. I WANT MY GOD DAMN NOVEL BACK. RIGHT *** NOW! ANd the laptop bough back/refunded like promised!

Company refuses to settle damage to home after 10 months

Best Buy still has not settled it will be one year at the end of this month. If they put themselves in my position this would have been unacceptable. Instead, all I hear are excuses.

Best Buy had seasonal help in Dec. of 2021. We bought a refrigerator off the floor, a scratch-and-dent model. It was delivered just before Christmas. It was missing several pieces. We were scheduled to have it repaired and nothing happened. A new fridge was ordered and because the seasonal help did not install the water line correctly our kitchen floor and basement were water damaged. We had to wait 6 months for flooring. It was finished in July. It is now 11-08-22, 10 months later and we have still not settled with the insurance. We passed this on to our home insurance but why should they be out all of this money for 10 months? I reached out to the CEO's email and got a corporate resolution team who just said to talk to your insurance and thanks for your patience. All this through a text. No names, nothing. My insurance has reached out to Best Buy insurance since August and they have yet to answer them. I am out of a deductible and have had my house torn up since Feb. It was not our fault and we did not want to buy new flooring. I am sad and frustrated because the CEO of Best Buy is a woman. From what I have read of her she would not wait this long to have something settled. What does that say about anyone? Man or Woman? As of today, nothing has been done except the "not me mentality" Well if not you Ms. CEO f Best Buy then who?
