Pay auto

Im calling to make an auto loan. I was told I could not use my Visa card. I asked if that changed and was not given and answer. He just kept repeating himself after I ask the question. He then hung up on me once i told him I could get him the information he needed.

Can not get a one in the same for a paid off auto loan

i am still on hold. BBVA CHRIS customer service rep just disconnected without coming back on the line for an update to talking with a manager.I called from my cell phone and on hold again.

this has to be the worst company to try to work with. I have been calling for 2 months asking for a one in the same. title reads compass bank and lien release is from BBVA, this is an issue with the DMV'S. I have asked every single customer service rep for the document to be told we will fax it to you and still do not have one. I have asked for a manager to help resolve the issue and there is not a manager on site that is willing to help us in anyway!! The 1st line of customer services does not know what they are doing. today is 10/6/2021 and I have been trying for 2 hours to get to a manager, Chris is who I am talking with right now and refuses to send me to a manager. I was hung up on several times today. This is the worst customer services I have experienced. the customer signed authorization to send lien release to the dealership, as the dealer paid the loan off. nothing nothing no satisfaction. all customer reps promise that we will receive the one and the same but nothing. We need the one and the same today!! 2 months wow that is wow!!!!! still on hold

Horrible

No branches. NO customer service help. They have limited hours. They can never help you with anything when you call. They never solve any issue. Always want to send you to a branch when all branches are like 40 minutes away

Debit Card Activiation

Compass failed to send me a new debit card when my previous card expired. I attempted to stop by my branch and request a new card and found that the lobby was still closed except for appointments due to Covid. It was July, 2021. I then called the national help line and was told only my local branch could issue a new card. I finally got a hold of someone at my local branch and was told to call back because "he wasn't anywhere near a computer." When I eventually talked to someone at the branch who could issue a card he said it would be "about a week." This was July 28. The card did not arrive until August 17. When I attempted to activate this long awaited debit card, the recording at the phone number on the card and app say that no account is found and the card can't be activated.

My online account is lock

Terrible service

Bought a vehicle in July. It is now November . Have never received mail from BBVA. Called got nowhere with person I spoke to I could not understand them they could not understand me. Called back got someone who could finally find my account. Made my payment on phone . By time for next payment still no welcome packet . With great difficulty got second payment made. After a couple more phone calls found out they have wrong zip code. So that is why I couldn't set up online and phone call couldn't find me. Now wanting to make 3rd payment. Can't get online program to work. Worst experience ever with a banking, lending institution.

When you change banks don't close this one just yet

Leave a little in there, just enough to cover items see how they treat you. Let me tell you how right you are. I have slowly started switching accounts. Everything's great when you have a few thousand in the bank. Have 300 and that all changes. I have checks that they "say" have cleared but absolutely have NOT. They don't even provide images of the checks in question because they ARE WRONG. Got all the proof. So payment wasn't made (3 times) more than enough funds in my account but I get a 38.00 insufficient funds fee??? Look up all the checks and I start with the ones I have no issue with. All check images are immediately available until I start entering check #'s that they screwed me over on 4 times. When I had 4,5,600 in my accoun t and a $75 writted check and a $75 scheduled bill pay check which DID NOT CLEAR (THEY LIE) got a print out from my credit card company. Don't know how you can do this to honest hard working people (THAT ACTUALLY HAVE MONEY IN THE ACCOUNT WHEN CHECK SHOULD HAVE CLEARED. This is why I have not closed this account and slowly moved to another while still using this one as a struggling costumer. The lomger I keep it open with just enough money in it the more they screw me over. I've almost got everything I need. 3 months of this crap. It's wild how they treat you when you are just scrapping by.. Truly a shame. I could go on and on here but I know you all are getting my drift. Choose a different Bank like Oxygen or Aspiration even wells fargo. If you look at the images and the dates you can clearly see I had plenty in there to cover my check. FYI my payment was not made it was returned at BBVA's request, it stated that on my credit card statement. Also they cannot provide a picture of the check for some reason. anyway THIS is just ONE example. There are more - Alot more. The have hearts. And son't charge fees EVER.

Disqualified with services

my name is vicky carmon I deposited a check in your bank sunday th 31 of may the check has cleared but my husband name is on the check so I went to you branch on airline spoke wi thg h Steven he said to just wait out side they would be open in 30 minutes the the manager came Bryan it was me and 2 Hispanic ladies standing there he said give me you arm card and I will check on it and go get in the drive through window but let the 2 Hispanic ladies inside to cash their checks that was a problem for me but I got in line then he came and said he don't know how to get the check from the atm if I add my spouse to my account I would still have to deposit the check even though it has already cleared help please I need to pay bills with that money Thanks in advance Vicky Carmon last 4 off debit card 9676

Fees during global pandemic

I would like to know why BBVA didnt wave all fees during this pandemic like all the 4 major banks did. You took $500 from my stimulus check. Yes we were in the negative, I work for a school which have been closed. My husband is a law enforcement officer, its been hard to pay our bills and buy food and just live during this pandemic. BBVA should be ashamed of themselves!! When this is over I will be changing banks. BBVA is the lowest of the low!! Shame on you!!

Block on Credit Card

I paid off a credit card so I could have use of the entire balance. However after doing so the card was blocked. When I asked why I was told that because I paid it with a non-BBVA bank account it would be 7-10 business days before the card could be unblocked. They were real quick to take the money from my Chase account but would let me have the use of it now.

Opening a checking account

My account was frozen due to fraudulent activity and Charges so I have a case with BBVA ccfd department the ccfd department told e I needed to go into the bank and open a new account once mine was frozen and that I would have to make an appointment first due to the corona-19 virus I called my local branch and they tell me I can't come into the bank it's by appointment only due to the corona-19 virus and I stated I understand that and I am aware of that and that's why I am calling I informed them that I spoke with the ccfd department and they told me to make a appointment to come into the branch to open a new account.. this woman telle there's no need to come into the bank you can go online and open a ew account that way I stated that not whatwas told toe ma'am tey still wouldn't make e an appointment and still told me to go online and open a new account I informed them thaty account is frozen and that I couldn't access any of my funds till I open a ew account and that my SSI disablility checks will be deposited into that frozen account I was still told to go online so I go online and what do they want in order to open an account $25 minimum deposited first *** no I already paid my $25 when I opened my open that just became frozen due to fraudulent activity and fraudulent charges I called them back they said in order for me to open a ew account I have to pay that deposit fee oh *** no ok I'm gonna pay it but then somebody I don't care who somebody's *** is grass and I'm the lawnmower when I get done.. so I pay the deposit they required and for what nothing for then to say I'm sorry we can't open you a new account at this time we need more time to review this which it would take between 24-48 hours before I would know anything well *** it's been over one week going on two weeks and still not a damn thing or heard from anyone still no new account opened and yet my SSI check will be deposited again soon and my stimulus check as well and I won't be able to get access to a damn thing thanks to BBVA USA just like I was refunded back money on disputes that I have one due to yes they see where it was fraudulent and unauthorized and some of those disputes and errors was on BBVA USA banks end that caused me charges and fees from my bills because they did a insufficient funds return item back to the company and charged me fees and that's not including the company that got returned there payment as insufficient funds there fee when I had money in my account at the times they were returned and everybody charged me with fees on both ends.. I'm still fighting with em and now nobody is answering the damn phones at the bank and I still have no new account so thank you very much BBVA USA for screwing me over and thank you for leaving with nothing and no means to access my money at all thank you very much I'm greatly appreciated NOT....

Resolved: Trying to cash a CDaT

After weeks of numerous emails, phone calls, etc., I received my money. They are the worst bank with whom I have ever dealt.

They are mostly an online bank and their customer service is practically nonexistent.

By nonexistent I mean they are practically impossible to contact either by phone, chat, or email. Their response time is measured in days and weeks and if they answer, usually their answers show their customer service representatives are either poorly trained, ignorant, or just do not care.

I have been trying to get BBVA to cash my CD and send me the proceeds. I opened the CD online, and now they are telling me I need to "go to my nearest BBVA" to withdraw the funds. There is not a BBVA branch withing 500 miles of my home. They are impossible to get on the phone, and if you do, no one working there is intelligent enough (maybe it is poor training) to get my money sent to me. I have sent them the written evidence they requested, but no response from them in over a week. Their customer service is pathetic, mostly nonexistent.

Just like all the other big banks

This bank is no different than any other big bank they claim they have customer service but they really don't they adhere to their policies and procedures and they don't listen to the problem instead they perpetuate the issue my issue is that I had a transaction post in error from my cell phone company they refunded the amount but not before it created a snowball effect of returned items nothing was paid by the bank however now I have $272 in fees that have been charged to me all fees and I think this is an incorrect a incorrect way to handle a customer account I'm going to let this account go to collections I am not going to pay it because these are not my fees I was a victim of an issue that happened I was literally put into the negative because of Bank fees it's pure profit for the bank
