Employee misconduct

Your employee Jen mcGeehan at your Bethlehem location sent a comment between us to my employer J. Jill. And i was terminated for this conversation. I will provide the harrassment between her and i. I am pressing charges againat her and i want to file a harrassment case with your company. She is a horrible person who is harrasing me got me fired and i will post it on all social media telling what happened until she is fired.

Refused service in store!!

Shopping in store, Marlton NJ, when they announced it was closing. I took my items up to check out immediately A very rude & abrupt young woman refused to help me checkout! She said, were closed! She closed the register EARLY while we were shopping & Refused to reopen it so I could make my purchases!!

Barnes and Noble Vendor Verification

Hi,*for a couple of days now I haven't been able to get my vendor account verification on Barnes and Noble even though all of my banking and tax info is correct. I keep getting the following info:*We were unable to approve your vendor account because of a mismatch with your tax and bank information.Please enter the information again and resubmit for verification. After I contacted support they told me the following:*We apologize that we were unable to approve your application, as it did not pass our vetting processes.* *We apologize that we cannot provide further information. After I had repeatedly asked for more information as I do not know what the problem is they stopped answering my emails. I have so much stuff written down, covers drawn and everything combined into, what I think to be, quality books but for some reason B&N keeps rejecting my vendor requests even though I provide completely correct and legal information. Please help as I do not know what the problem is, the support staff member refuses to help as well and I do not know what to do.

Self publishing bn press ignoring error

I'm an author, I receive government benefits and so I cannot fill out a W9. SSI recipients are not required to fill out W9's or file taxes. For this reason B&N continues to put a hold on my sales account. They refuse to fix it and will not give contact numbers. I've contacted the B&N press through email about this in the past and recently. They still won't remove the hold.

There is something wrong with my account

Returning the item I was receiving (the Bible) I send (REFUSE THE ORDER)I spoke to customer service her name is Linda when I spoke to her for replacing a order of the Bible the first one is pink She put in two orders which Bible and the color I want the one with Large Print and readable She sent me 2 bibles instead of one It was pink NIV and Turquoise blue one for $20.99 and 35.99

Inappropriate charge

Years ago I had a Barnes & Noble annual membership. This was automatically renewed last year and again in the past few days. As I explained to one of your customer service folks last year, I do not want to continue the membership and it has not been used. CANCEL THE MEMBERSHIP AND THE AUTOMATIC RENEWAL. This request made last year clearly has failed. Please cancel the membership now.

Nook problem

The non English speaking customer service representative who helped me, did not help me and I couldn't understand her. she was talking over me when I would try to tell her what was going on with my nook. she wouldn't listen and eventually she decided that she was tired of helping me so she told me to call back between such and such hours during the week. thank you so much. Absolutely horrible customer service. Trying to track down 2 books I ordered and the 800 number and website were absolutely zero help !

Book stuck in warehouse scans for 10+ days.

I placed an order in the start of December. According to tracking info, it was in my town on December 14th, but because of a supposed incorrect receiver name (I checked the billing info, it's correct), got delayed and sent back elsewhere. It said the seller or receiver would be contacted, no one has ever contacted me. It's been stuck at warehouse scan status since. This is absurd for the shipping cost. I want either my book or my money.

Wanted to return book for a refund. Was informed I had to send it back AFTER I received it. Well, it hasn't even been delivered yet. I would appreciate my $ refunded and be done.

Unethical business practices

I self published a book on Barnes and Noble. The copy they sent me did not match the print preview. Barnes and Noble could provide no explanation as to why that happened. I sent them my evidence and they refused to refund the cost to me. Additionally I have a tax exempt certificate and they charged me tax on my order and never refunded it. I charged back the entire 30.00 and won the chargeback as my bank agreed with me. Now after a year of placing orders they suddenly won't let me order because of 30.00.So they are willing to lose a 3,000 order over 30.00. What business does that?. Please do not use them for self publishing. They are a nightmare to deal with and are extrermely unethical.There are better companies to self publish with like Ingramspark.

My nook is stuck in a boot loop, it's only a few years old

While she tried very hard to help me and Im sure she did the best she could, it was difficult because of our clash in accents. Her best advice was to take it to a Barnes and Nobles store and let them handle it. She was unable to transfer me to someone else who could understand me better and visa versa when I made the request.

Close account

Right now, mail carries need employee, and it is affecting everyone. So I will not be needing your services at this time. Because no telling how long anything will come in the mail. Most items are not sold in the stores, so sometimes you have to order on-line. Sorry, I don't want to go through that, waiting a long period of time for items to in mail or show up at the store. Book I did not get

I've explained it all and I WONT be shopping with Barnes and Noble, not ever again. I thank you passed consumer. After I contacted you all I received my seriously late order the very next day. I was being told that because Barnes and Noble was late with the product that I had purchased and paid extra for Shipp that now I would have to take my very busy gridlocked schedule to run around and ship products back and what ever else they were talking about as if I was an employee rather than a valued customer. What is wrong with these companies today? What ever happened to customer appreciation?
