If this place were to get a grade for 'bubbly', they would get A++.If they are graded for honesty and respect for people, they wouldn't rate. I've been waiting a LONG time for a call; and now it appears that they are out of business ??? When I went there I was told that the need for a 53 year old white male was constant and that there was so much work, they could not promise when I would get home !!! They talked about me being on cruise ships, T.V. shows, commercials... said all I needed was a photo shoot to get things rolling. She told me I would be posted on the website FREE for one year after the photo shoot (which DID come to pass!!). I see my photo is still there even if the company is not !!!! Would've appreciated just ONE call; ONE chance (because I know how I can touch people either to make them laugh or make them think / dream). Paid money and spent time in preparation but never got ONE valid phone call for work. Cannot believe that companies still do scams in the age of Internet, where everyone finds out EVERYTHING before the end of the day !! Of what value is it to scam a handful of money and lose all Integrity for the rest of your life????

That scam, *** ran company deserved to be out of business with the new owners losing money like all of us that they scammed. They do not answer phones & I went to the office on Oakland Park Blvd. & it was empty & their name gone from the door. Everyone has to move on from the money loss & go on with their lives. Beware that the new or old owners may start a new company & try to re-scam you for false promises & more wasted money. Beware that the scummy owners may sell your name & contact info to other scummy people & try to get more money from you!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!

Avenue Productions - Ignorant Attitude Review
Oh how I wish I would have done a search before giving this agency over $1000 for my 2 daughters' photo session and comp cards. It's been at least 6 months without a word from them. I was getting jobs from their app on a daily basis, but that stopped too. Today I tried calling to ask why I'm not getting the notifications and they won't answer their phone. So pissed!!

THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND NEVER CONTACT YOU AGAIN THEY STOLE 200 DOLLARS FROM ME AND NEVER DID I GET A CALL OR EMAIL TO BE INVITED TO GO TO A CASTING OR ANYTHING THEY JUST POSTED PICTURES OF ME ON THEIR WEBPAGE FOR A YEAR AND THAT WAS ALL PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THEY FIND AN ALTERNATIVE COMPANY THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND NEVER HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN. THEY ARE LOCATED IN FORTLAUDERDALE I TRIED CONTACTING THEM BEFORE WRITTING ALL THESE REVIEWS THEY DENIED TO WANTED TO SPEAK TO ME OR WANTING TO GIVE ME A REFUND. Stay away from Avenue Production and Dana West
Big time rip off...they charged me 800 dollars for photographs between me and my daughter. Dana West tried to collect more money from me if I order more pictures and make me an online portfolio.anyways she gave me 3 job and I never get paid till now its been almost 8 months.her excuse was the old owner left debts and shes dealing into filing a bankruptcy since she took over.its a waste of my time and the money isnt the issue here.....the point is theyre still scamming people snd recruiting more models.shes a liar and shes using everyones money to support her own luxury and lifestyle.something needs to be done here and they have to stop so they cannot take advantage more of other people

When I went to meet with Avenue Production, the lady was very nice to me and said I was so handsome and blah blah blah. She didn't charge anything for registration however, she claimed that I should take some photos with their photographer. Now I already had multiple professional pictures with me but she didn't want them. I asked her if she could just use the ones that I had for now because I couldn't afford to take more at the moment and she refused to send me out for work until I paid for her photography. TOTAL SCAM I AGREE!!!!! DON'T BE FULLED!!
I have been in the Modeling Industry for 10 plus years so I am a bit familiar how the SCAM businesses work out there. I have been scamed in the past several times. Anyhow, went to this agency, was told NO FEE, only upon booking they collect 20%. Was shown all castings they receive daily etc. They were very quick to get me into the office for an interview. And lastly, I heard there is a fee $210 for (2 Website Photos for Year) OR $365 for (5 Webiste Photos) supposedly they have to pay their WEBMASTER the fee. Total ***!!! The lady at the agency didn't like the photos I had w/ Me so she told Me to submit her 3 Headshots 2 Full figure so she can pick top 2. She called Me and told Me they will go w/ 2 Full figure photos and the next sentence was, how would you like to pay?! Something was telling Me, NO! Don't do it. After much thought. Talking to my friend photographer who told Me it sounded shaddy. In order to get good castings/call backs you should have a good "Headshot" with the Agency because its your face that sells. And these reviews have given Me the FULL CLOSURE!!! They won't be seeing my MONEY!!!

Be careful with this company
Be very careful with this company, children under 4 years do NOT need comp cards, they do not need professional photos because they grow up so fast. They only need photographs after they get modelling gigs. This company offers you a photoshoot and they do not even have a proper photo studio, their photographers sucks! and obviously the pictures they take too.... I will recommend to apply to another talent agencies that do not want to take $600 from you on your first week, $265 in photoshot plus, $250 in comp cards, etc, etc Any reputable model agency will not take any money from you... Do not be fool, like I did, for not checking around. Contact another model agencies before, so you can learn what is the proper procedure

Scam people, Avemodels, ripping you off naive young modelse
Don't even think of signing with them, they try to sell you on their photographer services. Can you be sure that the photographer who they are referring to is not illegally paying them for the referral. It is against the law for any modeling and talent agency to make money from modeling portfolio photography, head shots, or any talent development service! Don't throw your money out of window, you will never hear from them again after they do the photo shoot and comp cards $1000 in the toilet, scam artists, read Florida State Statute 468.410 Prohibition against registration fees; referral. - (1) A talent agency may not charge a registration fee. (2) No talent agency shall, as a condition to registering or obtaining employment for any applicant or artist, require the applicant or artist to subscribe to, purchase, or attend any publication, postcard service, advertisement, resume service, photography service, school, acting school, workshop, acting workshop, or video or audiotapes

Avenue A+ In My Book
I have been talent on file with Avenue for well over 5 years now and can say that I have not been happier with this agency. I have been acting since I was kid. I grew up in North Carolina and had work there when I was younger. My family moved here 8 years ago and like I said, I have been with Avenue for over 5 years and have had no problems with the agency. They are probably one of the easiest and best angencies to work with in the South Florida area. I even got 2 of my friends to sign with them!

Avenue Rocks!
I took my 3 year old daughter to Avenue and I am happy to say that she got signed on the spot! My wife had mixed feelings about putting our daughter in this industry before we spoke with our agent, but now she is really excited about working with Avenue. The girls in the office were very friendly and helpful when answering all my wife's questions. I did not feel pressured into buying anything. There is a reason they have been in business for 21 years...Because they know what they are doing and they are good at it!!!!!!

Great Agency!
My son signed with Avenue about 6 months ago and we have not only recieved numerous calls from their agents, but he has already had several castings with some future work lined up. I couldn't believe how fast and great this agency works for you. I have been very happy with Avenue and will recommend this agency to friends and family who are interested in getting started like we were for our son. I am not sure what everyone else is doing wrong, but it is not the agnecy!!!! Avenue Productions gets a BIG THUMBS UP in my book :)

Misleading - claimed no fees
I should have known better when I registered online and no photo was needed. Then they quickly called me the same day I signed up. Well I explained that I lived 2hrs away so I wanted to make sure they were for real and not a scam, so I asked if they had any fees...which they stated none they would be paid 20% commision if we booked a job. Sounded honest enough so my baby and I made the 2 hour trip. To my amazement during our meeting in their run down office they droped the $200.00 fee for uploading your photo to their website....OK they claim it's not for them it's to pay the webmaster. I own a website through godaddy.com and am familiar with the cost of creating a webpage...why would the talent...each child need to pay $200 a month to post photos. I wasted gas, time for a scam - now I know to ask if there are any fees including website or administrative fees before wasting my time. They will not get a dime of my money.

Avenue Production is a Scam!!
This agency say they don't charge, but they charged me $200.00 to put my son on their website and try to get me to spend almost a thousand dollar for comp cards. They sca people and thats how they make their money. Any how they found a job for my son and said it took 60-90 days for him to get paid and it took 6 months for him to get partially paid after me calling a hundred times and then my husband called and was being rude and then they paid some of the money and hasn't paid the rest yet and its been another four months. They try to keep the money for as long as they can. I put my son with them since he was 7 months old and they only found him one job and my son is 19 months. I spoke to parents that are with other agencies and their babies has done tons of work and getting paid wasn't a hassel. Please everyone becareful of this agency, I hope this comment help someone because times are tough and people shoudln't get scammed like this.
