Fraudulent Activities

As of today, 7/12/23, Auto Glass Now has not made any attempt to contact me.

I'm in Tallahassee and this company raised red flags from the very first call and continued to be unresponsive to callbacks for confirmation of promised services and scheduled appointment on that call. The AGN appears on Google multiple times with conflicting ratings. My call to the original phone # called resulted in vague responses and cryptic texts from different phone #'s, which is a universal indication of scam activity. Attempted to report this to Google but the process was too tedious and discouraging. So, I am hoping this entry will at least intercept any potential victims of the fraudulent activity involving AGN because my negative experience is real and documented. When I regain my composure to put the effort into exposing this company, I will consider more viable recourse.

Breach of Contract

AUTO GLASS NOW / SKEWED RATINGS Auto Glass Now has developed a history of removing honest negative ratings in order to distort the truth about the overall customer experiences. This review, had been deleted and is now being reposted. My son had his windshield replaced on his 2021 Rubicon at this establishment, only to have the windshield develop a significant crack over 26 inches long 6 days later. Their website states in part, "Every replacement comes with a Lifetime Warranty" what they don't tell you is that they refuse to honor their own warranty and that they have actually received 22 "One-Star" reviews out of 40 on the Downers Grove Chamber of Commerce Website. I understand that Jeremy Humphrey, the store manager, was extremely rude and condescending. My son, who happens to be an Air Force veteran and current Police Officer, tends to sometimes take it on the chin. I, however, believe that we should stand up for our rights and call out establishments that RIP OFF the American Consumer. Jeremy should be ashamed of himself and do what's right. I encourage others NOT to do business with Auto Glass Now in Downers Grove. Most appreciate Veterans and their Service to our Country. Auto Glass Now is not one of them. HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT!!!

Supervisors unavailable and unwilling to help

and technicians destroyed the electrical system and I have been without a car for over a week. My car is at the dealership with major electrical issues now. Technicians drove my car around and are not mechanics. I have called district and regional supervisors who only say theyll call me back. Theyve seriously damaged a brand new car, and I have no recourse nor have I been compensated.

Defective glass

Had a windshield replacement with these guys in September. Yesterday I was sitting in my car warming it up. After about 5 minutes of warming the car up I was ready to back out of my garage. Before backing out I noticed my rear windshield was a bit frosted so I cut on the rear defrost. A few seconds later, there was a loud noise! I looked back and my windshield was cracked all over! I got out because I thought somebody shot through my windowthats how loud it was! When checking i noticed that my windshield was just cracked and the edges of it were gone. What happened? The rear defrost happened! I called them to explain what went in and was automatically dismissed and told the warranty doesnt cover those things. I asked to speak to the DM, Mark. He eventually called with the same mess. He told me tempered glass doesnt crack! The lies! I have contacted my lawyer because this is bigger than $700. My kids were in the car scared half to death and now Im out of work today. This cant be the way.

Needed copy of invoice. Store was very busy so I reached out to you for advice on other avenues, but phone call was returned and they met my needs.

Been waiting on HR to call me for 2 weeks . Need to get my W2 so I dont get in trouble which you think they would be concerned about considering they can get in trouble as well too when I show the IRS proof Ive been trying to contact them.

Faulty windshield replacement and nasty management also they do not have a direct way to communicate as I called the 800# and was directed to the website and the page had an error which went nowhere

I had my windshield replaced on 3/19/2022. It has now leaked into my car from above mirror. It has wet my headliner and my monitor that operates my radio, ac, and car accessories. I came yesterday after realizing it was pouring water in. The manager Tara said windshield would be in at 10:30am so I arrived at 10:45am. I have sat until 12:22pm to finally be taken back. She assured me that it would only take and hour and a half. Yet I have waited for an hour and a half for her to say it's not her problem. After I addressed my concerns yet again over me losing money not once but twice and still will have been here three hours today not to mention the damages done to my car. Which, state farm paid for the windshield replacement. She decided she should take lunch and left after I said I was filing a complaint. I do except a response and assistance in addressing this matter. Also, from further conversations the gentleman that put my window in is no longer employed here because your company was "waiting for him to quit". If he wasn't suitable for the job and completed them properly, he should have never been employed because now my car has been affected by no fault of my own. I also want my computer screen in my car replaced that has been damaged.

Concerned

Today I had an appointment at the Reno and Council location to have my windshield replaced for a crack that went from my passenger side to my almost my drivers side and wiper level on my 2010 Toyota Camry. I had questions regarding the windshield so the receptionist wrote to CHECK WINDSHEILD on the ticket first. My car was taken to the back of the shop and about 30 minutes later the receptionist came to get me saying did you know your car was a 2009 and not 2012 Camary. We went to the back and behind the shop where 2 guys were working outside. They had already taken my windshield out and thrown it into a pile of broken windshields on the ground. They had NOT CHECKED the windshield before taking the old one out against the new one because if they had we would not all be looking at the giant hole with glue and the new windshield that didn't fit because it was for a different year car. Human error, I understand. The receptionist said "Don't worry, I call around and we will get this figured out." I said you can't put the old one back in, the crack is already spreading. She assured me it would be no problem. Her and I walked back up to the front. we came up front and she walked over to another man behind a desk and explained what was going on. she said " We will have to eat it, it said on the ticket to check windshield and they didn't" she then made some calls. Now Oklahoma just had 2 storms and I know glass is hard to find. My car also happens to be in high demand. No one was talking to me. About 30 minutes later the man who was beside the desk and she was talking to drove my car back around the front. The receptionist had disappeared at this time. He said did she explain everything to me. I said no one has told me anything. He said Glass is in high demand. I said I am aware of that, how long do you think it will be. I asked if he could order it and he said glass is in high demand. I said are you going to fix it and he said we can't fix it glass is in high demand. He would never give me a clear answer. My window was duck taped onto my car now at this point, no seal around outside of glass and cracks all over glass because it had been thrown on the ground. Even the grass and mud was still on the glass. There were so many cracks on the glasswork there was not a spot bigger than a dollar bill length not splintered. I said how can I drive this, it's illegal. He said it won't hurt you. I said no it's safety glass it would;d just fall in my lap and shatter. The integrity of the glass has now become a safety hazard for the only vehicle I have. The car I brought in was legal to drive on the street. The car I have now is not. It also bows with the force of the wind while you drive it. It is totally unsafe. I finally did get it home and called the receptionist back and asked if she was going to make this good or not. She said of course if that's what I wanted. I said I brought my car into have my glass replaced and was sent out with a car that was dangerous and basically sent away. I feel I was taken advantage of, treated unfairly, completely with no customer satisfaction and I was a very pleasant customer, I feel like I was discriminated as a female client. Basically, 2 men messed up by not checking the ticket against the product before starting to replace it. Then to cover their mistake, I am shoved out the door without explanation of a plan to get new product ordered and to keep from having to fix a mistake I am given an unsafe vehicle and I feel like they didn't want me to come back. When I did cal back, she said they would call around and call me back. I finally did receive a call where she told me they had been busy but she would call me Friday morning and he would try to pull a magic trick out of his hat. I get the fact that a windshield will have to be found and brought in from some other place. I have now called around myself. Not one time have I heard an apology or any type of true customer service out of this office of Auto Glass Now. This was a horrible experience. I drove in with a car that was at least legal. Now the car is a hazard and NOT legal to drive.I am now having to rent a car until I can have my windshield replaced. I would like for Auto Glass No to cover the cost of 249.00 of the windshield or rental car fees until my car is fixed due to their carelessness. I do have pictures and customer witnesses to follow this claim.

Poor workmanship

Poor workmanshipI had to go back three times to get a windshield put in my van and then after the third time they still left the windshield washer hose off I had to take the Cal off to put the hose on I did it myself

they installed a windshield and damaged my trunk and left front fender. Then lied about it. Also trashed the inside of my car and left the radio wide open.

They don’t know what they are doing

Worst place ever to take your car! If you want it done right, go somewhere else. The work on my car is all wrong. Manager called me a liar telling me I did not have features on my car that I knew I did. Now no intermittent wipers and none of my safety features are on my car now.

Unprofessional

Very Rude and unprofessional. The workers too busy on their phones and smoking cigarettes to do any work. The Caucasian at the front desk needs to retire because she doesnt have any patience at ALL !!!!!

Extreme delay in windsheild replacement without explanation.

I went to get my windshield replaced, I was advised 1.5 to 2 hours, but it ended up taking over 4 hours without explanation or apology. I filed a bad review regarding the experience, and within 2 hours of my filing, I received a call from the regional director who profusely apologized for my bad experience and stated they did not want to lose me as a future customer. I accepted their apology and respected their quick response.

2nd review it has gotten worse

As to the complaint below. I think there is something going on with this district manager Steven Towe who runs Auto Glass Now at 2807 University Drive Huntsville AL 35816. .He just called me screaming, called me a liar, that I was not at his shop 3 times for the same job, which still is unfinished. (6/12, 6/13, 6/16). I also could not really understand what he was screaming at me. Then he hung up. He seemed to be under distress of some kind.I was just going to wait for your call as Reggie suggested, but when a business person representing your corporation becomes unhinged like that I think you should know. It was scary. Today 6/16, an Auto Glass now tech was supposed to come to my office to fix/replace the trim they lost to my 2019 Kia Sorento on Friday 6/12..Mr Towe looked me in the eye on Saturday 6/13 (my second trip of 40 min driving and 20 min waiting) for my $250.00 windshield replacement (which I paid for) and promised me the trim would be in Tuesday,he ordered it himself, and he would send his tech to fix. As no one showed up today, I called. I was so surprised when the manager did not know what I was talking about. I explained and drove over. The trim was never ordered, and there was no work order to come to my office. I called customer service again and spoke to Reggie, a very nice person who was also concerned they did not follow through on fixing the mess up. He told me to wait for a return call per my email to you all. The actual store manager Dillon Vidalier was also shocked and acted kind and helpful, and said it will be another 4 days. He provided me with Mr Towe's number, I called and he did not answer. I sent him a text, and he called me, screamed at me,called me a liar, and hung up on me. Thus my new email to you. PLEASE HELP. This is unacceptable. . I am now worried because this enraged person has my address. This is my original email to you. I have been to the store twice in the past 10 years service was much better previously. I had a 4 oclock appointment and left work early because they told me they stop taking people at 4:30. I arrived about 345, and turned in my keys ; by 445 I was still sitting there and my car had not moved. They had taken two other customers since I had been there that came in with cracks and one with a broken mirror. it took most of the hour to manage one individuals insurance claim. I did not complain even though the man said can you get me in quick I need to be out of here by five, and they agreed and sent him right back. I had been there an hour and also needed to get out of there by five. His insurance claim was $40 my windshield was $250. No worries, I waited calmly and did not get frustrated. Stuff happens no big deal. They bring me my keys 45 minutes later, so I thank them I pay them I get in my car and I go home. I get out of my car and noticed there are bolts showing all the way around my windshield. It appears they forgot to put on my trim. Still, I did not get upset. Stuff happens. I call in the morning and speak to the same manager that was there during my appointment. I tell him what happened. He says oh no ! Can you get here right away I have three techs here now, and we have nothing to do I explain to him that I live far away and I will get there as soon as I can. He hung up on me while I was still talking even though he said his store was dead. I drive the 40-minute drive in traffic and get to his store. I only waited about 20 minutes this time before they came back and told me they had lost my trim, they could order me some and I would have it next week. They even tried to tell me they left the trim on top of my car and I must have driven off with it. .Isnt the trim replacement part of the windshield repair? . At this time I feel like I should be reimbursed the labor on my vehicle. I have no problem paying for the windshield but the service department completely failed. Another hour and a half, driving and my gas when all the manager had to do was look and make sure they had my trim. As mentioned earlier, I told him I lived far away. Before he had me drive all the way into Huntsville again he could have checked. This is absolutely a Customer service fail. He did not even apologize that they had lost my trim and had me drive all the way to town for no reason. Very poor business practice. Sincerely Deanna Nicholas
